“We were very happy with Kayla. She followed our instructions for house sitting and accomplished everything we needed. Our home was neat and clean upon our return and she did a good job of watering our flowers. Most importantly, our pup like her right away. Kayla took her on walks and the neighbors that she ran into thought she was nice, polite, and taking good care of our pup. We received photos from Kayla every day and in them, our pup seemed relaxed which was reassuring. We will definitely use her again.”

“Wow!! Jaden did a great job! She spent time with my animals and stayed at our house. She sent me lots of pictures, which always makes me worry less. I will definitely use Jaden again. Thanks for such great service!”

About: I have been a pet lover since I was a little girl. I have recently retired from a 26 year teaching career and starting Vet Tech classes in the Fall. I am also on the Board of Directors for EMAS (Emm & Mal’s Animal Sanctuary) a local non profit that fixes dogs in underserved communities. I also have 3 dogs of my own and a cat that I rescued from my school campus. My dogs are active in Canine Activities such as Dock Diving, Barn Hunt and Flyball. My girl Laken has 2 Trick Titles she earned by the time she was 1 yr old. I know it is difficult to be away from your pets and I want to show them the love and attention they deserve in your absence. I am retired and have time outside of my daily training with my dogs to provide services for you and your pets. I look forward to working with you and your fur babies. My dogs have access to my home and yard. My 19 week old puppy is crate trained and loves her crate at night. I understand some people have restrictions of keeping pets off of furniture and beds and that rule would be honored if that’s your wish. My doggies have their own places on the couch and bed when we are relaxing at home.

“Absolutely amazing!! So sweet and kind and absolutely trusted her in my home with my puppy!! Even stayed late because she knew I worked far away! Amazing will hire again”

About: I’ve cared for all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, reptiles, and more—since I was young. I’ve independently house and pet sat for years and always treat every home and animal with love, respect, and reliable care. I’m known for being highly trustworthy, attentive, and great with both energetic pups and shy pets alike. Pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I’m an early riser, so morning feedings, walks, or litter box cleanings are never an issue. I plan my day around check-ins, playtime, and any special needs like medication or grooming. Evenings are reserved for winding down with pets, making sure they feel safe and settled before bed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect I’d give my own. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk times, medications, and routines—while keeping the home clean, secure, and peaceful. I make sure pets feel safe and loved in their familiar environment by sticking to their usual routines and offering plenty of attention, play, and affection. I truly enjoy creating a calm, safe routine for every pet. Whether I’m watching animals in my own home or someone else’s, their care always comes first. I also keep clients updated with messages or photos, so they always know their pets are happy and in good hands.

About: I’ve had at least 5 years of experience sitting for friends and family. I’m going to college and studying to be a Veterinarian. I volunteer at Kern County animal shelter, and my main task is cleaning puppy cages, so I have no problem getting my hands dirty. I am a college student at CSUB, studying to be a veterinarian. During the Summer, I have a lot of free time while still maintaining good availability during the school year. Even if I have classes, I would still be able to check on an animal every day. I make sure to remove anything that could potentially harm an animal (Sago Palm for cats) and if they enjoy going outside, to always have them on a leash and in my sight.

About: Animals have always been a strong love of mine. Not only have I been a dog owner from the age of 3 and own 6 furbabies of my own, I have also been a horse owner, avid equestrian, and a 4H sheep owner that won Reserve Grand Champion 2 consecutive years showing them at the Kern County Fair. Providing the same love and care to your pets as I do my own is my top priority. Our pup’s didn’t earn the nickname of Man’s Best Friend out of nowhere and they deserve to be cherished, even when you need time away from home. I have experience in all ages and conditions including but not limited to: -New pups -Old pups -Blind pups -Diabetic pups I currently work full-time as a medical scribe with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. The great part? My workday starts early and ends early, leaving me with the perfect early morning, afternoon, and evening hours to dedicate to pet care. Daily walks, playtime, feeding, and cuddles all fit smoothly into my routine, and I love having that quality time with pets after a busy morning. Weekends are even more flexible, which allows for longer stays, extra play, or extended house sitting when needed. Caring for animals brings a great balance to my week—and a lot of joy too! I treat your space with the same respect I treat my own. I keep things tidy, follow all routines to the letter, and make sure your pet feels safe and relaxed in their familiar environment. I keep you updated with daily pics, videos, and little notes on how your pup is doing! When walking, I’m big on safety—leash rules, paw checks, water breaks, and always watching for dog’s body language. My goal is a happy, tired, and content pet after every visit.

About: I have experience caring for special needs animals and always follow instructions precisely. I’ve lovingly cared for all kinds of critters, both big and small. I’m currently on break from college but come August I will be picking up a full-time schedule. Definitely have enough time till end of summer. I’m able to crate dogs if need be or make sure that any door is secured to make sure that no animals escape out of yards or houses.

Jayden K.
“Jayden is the only person I trust with my babies. She truly knows how to care for my dogs. I have a poodle and a chihuahua so they are difficult to manage for most people. My chihuahua Frank often dislikes most people I leave him with, with Jayden being the exception. She always takes extra time out of her day to make sure they are properly cared for, along with making sure they are well behaved. She used to watch my dogs for me during my trips which I was out of town for roughly a week at a time. She is super bubbly and sweet and doesn’t mind a little mess, which makes my dogs love her. I recommend her to all the dog mom’s and dad’s!”

Shamya B.
“Sha'mya Black was a roommate of mine and I am responsible for a cat. Sha'mya was great with my cat and they were good buddies. My cat would leave me when Sha'mya was in the shared living space and hang out with her. I appreciated the break and my cat appreciated the friend.”
