About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! I’ve also taken care of my neighbors dog for several years enthusiastically. I’ve always found dogs to be the closest comfort, which is a reason to trust me. I’d take care of your dog like my own, as I hold them mine very close to my heart. I have a part time job working with kids, so I’m very available to book! I’m fully available four days of the week and I always have time to spend with your fur friends before and after work. In my home, I occasionally use a crate for my german shepherd, most of the time he is loose. He’s gotten accustomed to sleeping on my bed or my parent’s bedroom and we feed him early in the morning. Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. Levi has allergies so we make sure to always apply topical remedies and purchase a high quality kind of dog food.

About: I've worked with special needs animals all my life from tri-pawds, deaf, and blind animals to those with dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, anxiety, and sensitivity to stimuli. Currently I am also employed by a farm that has working breads for dogs and barn cats. I work with a changing and flexible schedule and three days off per week, leaving me plenty of time for checking in on your furry friend. My animals have special dietary needs along with special care for allergies and sensitive skin. They receive joint supplements, specially vetted foods, special bathing requirements, and seasonal medications. I'm well versed at the care special needs animals require because of this.

About: Hi! I’m Payton, and I am a member of The International Cat Association (TICA). I have many years of hands-on experience caring for and showing cats of many different breeds and personalities. From ages 16 to 20, I helped manage the day-to-day care of a multi-cat cattery, where I cared for kittens, breeding cats, and retired show cats. My experience includes feeding specialized diets, administering medications, grooming, nail trims, litter box maintenance, monitoring health and behavior, and maintaining consistent routines for multiple cats. Over the past four years of showing cats, I have learned how to handle them calmly and respectfully while paying close attention to each cat’s individual temperament. Whether your cat is outgoing, shy, or requires extra attention, my goal is to provide reliable, low-stress care while you are away. References are available upon request. I currently work part-time with a flexible schedule, which allows me to make drop-in visits during the week and provide longer stays over the weekends. Since I have cats of my own, their care is already a part of my daily routine. I understand the importance of maintaining feeding schedules, clean spaces, and consistent attention while you are away. I believe cats are happiest and least stressed when they can stay in their own familiar environment. About: hello! I haven’t been watching dogs for long but I’m a very careful and patient person! I never run up on a dog when I first see them I will always allow them to sniff my hands before any other interactions happen! I have watched my aunties dogs ( three big dogs!) I always made sure to send photos of the dogs to her as well as check in with updates. I gave her dogs their medicine and fed them 2 times a day! I will always check in with owners My school time starts soon however I will always have time to play with any pup or dog! My school time would be around 8am to possibly 1:00 pm I will always have my eye on a dog, I am a very gentle person when it comes to meeting new pups since I know that when it comes to meeting new people it can be hard on a dog!
