I've grown up with cats and dogs in my life since I was born. I was practically raised by two lovely German Shepherds and have only fostered a deeper love of animals the older I've gotten. I have housesat for relatives and taken care of their dogs in their absence. I have experience with taking care of young pups/kittens and currently take care of my precious elderly chihuahua, Ellie. I also have some experience taking care of reptiles, such as turtles and bearded dragons.

I take great care to watch for an animals body language and react accordingly. I can crate most dogs so long as they're trained for it. I'm also available to message for updates 24/7 if you want updates on how your fur babies are doing.

Very grateful I found carmine on rover! She did an amazing job 2 weeks ago while staying at my place and watching my animals. Great communications the whole stay, followed instructions, and left my house clean. Highly recommend and will be asking her to stay again!

This was my first time using Rover. Carmine gave me piece of mind when I needed her to house/pet sit. I was very comfortable knowing my pets were safe with her. She sent pictures and updates, which I appreciated. My few days with my family were better knowing my pets were well taken care of in the comfort of their home instead of boarding them in an unfamiliar environment. My shepherd is very nervous to leave the house. By having Carmine, he was able to stay home and have less anxiety. I cannot thank Carmine enough!
She did a great job watching our dogs. Marino is a more nervous around strangers but seemed to warm up to her. Nova was seemed very comfortable around her from the beginning. She sent updates and photos of our pets daily. Would recommend booking her ☺️
Carmine has been wonderful with my cat Nyla who needs regular medication. She gives Nyla her meds calmly and stays nearby afterward to make sure she feels safe.
For years now Carmine has been looking after Charlie every now and then and I trust her completely with him. Charlie is a big grey goldendoodle who loves everyone and pulls hard on the leash when he is excited, which can make walks a bit of a challenge. When I see them come back from a walk, Charlie looks happy and relaxed, which tells me a lot about how comfortable he feels with her. One night Charlie ran into a sharp object in the yard and came back to the house with a bleeding wound. Carmine reacted immediately, kept calm, and held steady pressure on the area the entire way to the emergency vet, even though it was late and stressful. She has also taken him to the groomer multiple times, managing the car rides and drop offs without any issue.
