About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I am currently a biology major in veterinary school. My love for animals began as a child with my mom being a crazy cat lady and with the start of FFA in high school. I have now decided to carry my love of animals into my young g adult life. I am in college and work part time as a nanny for a divorced dad along with 2 other families that use me about 1-2 times a week only for a-couple hours. The dad I work for has his kids every other week so during the off week my schedule is very open. When he has his kids I work for him for 2-3 days out of the week. I provide a safe, comfortable, and supervised environment for every pet. My home has a spacious backyard for outdoor play, and I have two cats, a leopard gecko, and a tropical fish tank. I’ll follow your pet’s routines and care instructions closely, and I can keep pets separated as needed to help everyone feel secure.

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 5+ years and I love them. I’m able to take care of them and provide what they need. I have my own dogs that I also take care of. I’m currently working full time from 6:30-3. I’m available in the mornings from 7:30am-5:30pm. I am also available all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as I do not work those days. I am able to walk and feed and clean dogs. I can do what you want me to do for your dog. As for my dogs they are well taken care of and are being fed and bathe regularly.

About: I have a 11 year old cat of my own but have also helped my family raise various farm animals growing up from goats to dogs to chickens. Overall I am great working with animals. I am currently doing online college courses so I have open availability with scheduling drop ins to check on pets and it also allows me to give full attention to your pet while I am there. I will treat your animal with the same care I give to my cat who I have had for eleven years, with lots of attention and reading body language to determine their needs along with providing a clean space for them to live.

About: I have owned dogs since childhood and have volunteered at shelters a couple of times. Helping animals in anyway is my passion and I will go out of my way to accommodate to your pets needs. I have only cared for small dogs growing up so I am most comfortable with them. I love animals, growing up I’d want to take in every animal I saw out on the street. Unfortunately that is not suitable for me lol, but I will care for your pet as if it is my own. I enjoy meeting new animals as it can be fun to see how different their personalities present, it also gives me an opportunity to learn and adapt. Friday-Sunday (with exceptions) But if given an early notice I may be available for other days as well. With my dog now being a senior, I am able to administrate supplements if needed. I can also attend to other animals in the house if needed. About: I've worked with special needs animals all my life from tri-pawds, deaf, and blind animals to those with dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, anxiety, and sensitivity to stimuli. Currently I am also employed by a farm that has working breads for dogs and barn cats. I work with a changing and flexible schedule and three days off per week, leaving me plenty of time for checking in on your furry friend. My animals have special dietary needs along with special care for allergies and sensitive skin. They receive joint supplements, specially vetted foods, special bathing requirements, and seasonal medications. I'm well versed at the care special needs animals require because of this.
