“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

“Barbara was very nice and took really good care of my dog, Butter. My dog has anxiety around bigger dogs, so for us, this was a perfect match. Even with her two smaller dogs, Barbara paid extra attention and had lots of caution in making sure that my dog felt comfortable being in her home and around her dogs. After our initial meet and greet, my dog didn’t even wait for me to say goodbye— He was so excited to be there that he ran inside when I dropped him off! About: I have always had dogs and im an experienced horse rider. I have a vet on speed dial for any emergency. i have a big backyard and two small dogs who love to play with other dogs and are the sweetest. I can administer meds if you need me to :) HI! Im Ali, im a 29 yr old stay at home mom to a baby and 2 doggies. My dogs are my life so you can expect the same treatment for yours, I spend my whole day with them and include them in everything they want! -I have a big backyard which they have access to anytime they want! (we have a doggie door installed) so they can enjoy the backyard or do their necessities there. -Dogs sleep in the room with us on their bed so we can keep an eye on them and they can sleep safe and warm. -We live in a safe and calm neighborhood so we can go on walks -I feed my dogs twice a day and leave water out all day for them to drink freely -We have a ring camera for security and trusty neighbors -I would love to meet you before dropping your dog off! and you can meet my dogs if you'd like too :) -I send pictures and updates! (As many as you'd like, I dont mind at all: I know its hard being away from our babies) I know how important dogs are to their families! so please let me know any concerns or questions you might have (Im happy to answer!) My backyard is completely fenced and its basically owned by my dogs (they use it freely all day) I dont go out much , so your dog might not spend any time alone whatsoever :) I let my dogs get on my couch but not the bed! they're allowed to be around the house wherever they want. *I prefer potty trained or crate trained dogs (we have a carpet sadly) * My dogs are sterilized, vaccinated and they're super sweet and playful with dogs that like to play. If your dog prefers their own space I can accommodate them, but no aggressive or destructive dogs please.

Estefanie has helped bathe our 60 lb dog. Grooms him, gives him food, and treats daily. Even though the dog is actually my brothers she feeds him and loves him like if Duke was hers.”

About: have pet sat a neighbors dog for 3 days in the 6th grade also help take care of my gma who had Alzheimer's for 8 years Caregiver since 9/1/2017 to 11/19/23 My mom just passed away on November 19th and I literally lost my job when that happened so I'm gonna do this rover thing best I can id love to meet u and your dog anytime please let me help your life in general thank u for your time also :) also I walk rather frequently in the area and would love to walk your dog in this town of Bakersfield so they can come back to a relaxing environment at your home or if u need to have them stay at my place for a bit let me know. i would want a gate up near a pool no matter what area also if their were children around always like to make sure the dog bowls are nice and clean not dirty also change the food out as well. as if us people had to eat out it clean

I had a friend once joke and say that my pets had better health insurance than her because of how much I loved and cared for my pets. Clients, friends and family always ask me first if I can take care of their pets when they are gone. I am always reliable and love their pets as my own. I will let your dogs out for potty breaks in between my day at work. They will get unconditional love and attention. My best friend is my pug. My fur babies are my children and will treat your pet the same way. I’m self employed running my own business that has busy days and slow days. If I am responsible for the care of someone’s animals I will make sure to schedule around their care. Potty breaks, food and attention will be considered first.
