About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for both cats, dogs, lizards, and bunnies! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work during the day time usually from 8-1 or 9-3. I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life. Growing up, I was the kid in the neighborhood who always stopped to say hi to every dog walking by, and whose front yard became a safe, happy place for pups to play. I’ve always been the dependable neighbor people turn to whether you have to leave town unexpectedly or just want someone you trust to care for your furry friends at your home or mine. My love for animals runs deep, and caring for them comes naturally. I’ll always treat them with love, respect, and put their comfort first. I’m home full‑time, and pet care is my top priority. Your fur babies will always get the love, attention, and kindness they deserve. I’m 100% dedicated to walking, playing with, feeding, and meeting all their needs no distractions, just care. I also have two very well‑behaved fur babies of my own and have had dogs in my life since I was a child, so I know how important consistency, trust, and understanding are. Hello! Thank you for trusting me to care for your fur babies, animals have always been part of my life, and I understand how much they mean to you. Here’s how I care for them, whether in your home or mine: I follow your pet’s routine carefully feeding times, walks, bathroom breaks, playtime. I want them to feel as comfortable and safe as possible. I always get detailed information up front: dietary needs, health issues, medications, favorite toys/activities, comfort items, and any special instructions. In your home: I respect your space, clean and tidy up after meals or walks, keep everything as I found it (or better), and follow your rules for rooms or areas that are off‑limits. In my home: I have a safe, calm space with familiar items, a bed or crate as needed, access to water, a secure yard or play area (if applicable), plus lots of love, attention and play. I make safety a priority: clear floors, remove hazards, check for escaped pets, secure doors/gates/windows. I stay connected: I send regular updates with photos, so you know how they’re doing, eating well, playing, sleeping comfortably. Extra care: for pets needing medication, extra attention, or with special needs, I follow directions accurately and monitor their well‑being closely. I promise your pet will be treated like family, with respect, kindness, and full dedication. I have two well‑behaved dogs of my own and have cared for animals since childhood, so this is not just a job, it’s a passion.

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of a dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.
About: I have taken care of many animals, including some that most would consider incredibly difficult, so if your pets need more care or attention that won’t be a problem. I have handled dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs so I know what to do in situations like that. I have also taken care of days old kittens and I understand how to care and provide for young animals. I am self employed and my schooling is online so I have no scheduling conflicts. I am available at any time of any day really. I am able to take care of your pet however you need me to. I have taken care of pets who needed a lot of supervision and pets that needed very little. I love going on walks with them and I will take them to parks or things like that if that’s something you would like! I am currently self employed so I can work around any schedule. When I do house sitting, I usually do my work during the day and take as many breaks as needed to stop by the house and take care of the pets, and then I spend the night time spending more time with them. I have taken care of all different types of pets ranging from low to high maintenance. I have experience with escape artists and I am very aware and take special attention to ensure no one gets out. I also have experience with aggressive pets and I know how to handle myself in difficult situations. I feel like this is especially important for dogs that require walks because I am extra aware of other dogs in the area and I am more attentive to make sure there aren’t any quarrels.
