About: I’m a dedicated 21 year old dog lover who currently cares for two rescued female puppies. They are friendly and fixed :) Raising young shelter dogs has given me hands-on experience with puppy routines, socialization, basic training, exercise, and lots of patience. Growing up, I also owned a Chihuahua and spent time dog walking for others ever since I was a kid, which helped me learn how to work with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I care for my own two young dogs every day, so pet care is already a major part of my routine. When I'm not working, I spend time walking, training, playing with, and caring for them. My flexible schedule allows me to adjust my day around the needs of the pets in my care and make sure they receive the attention, supervision, and affection they deserve. Safety is my top priority when caring for pets. In my home, dogs have access to a large, securely fenced yard where they can play, exercise, and explore safely under supervision. I also have a large crate available for dogs who are crate-trained or need a quiet place to relax. If a dog needs their own space, I can separate them using a dog gate and provide a comfortable area in my home where they can rest safely. I always monitor interactions between pets and make sure each dog is comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I worked at a luxury pet resort and I currently work at a pet boarding facility, which involves professional bathing techniques, ear cleaning, and skin health checks. I have open availability and can dedicate my time to caring for your pets. Monday-Friday, I am available for morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight stays as needed. I can provide walks, drop-in visits, feeding, companionship, and general pet care. On weekends, I am available for walks and drop in visits throughout the day. I treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect and care. Using my Veterinary Assistant training, I perform 'nose-to-tail' wellness checks during every visit to monitor for any changes in health or behavior. I stick strictly to your established feeding and medication schedules to maintain your pet's routine. Safety is my priority! I ensure all doors/gates are double checked and that your pet is never left in a hazardous situation.

About: As someone who has owned pets, I have years of experience in caring for cats, dogs, lizards, bunnies and more! When I could not locate a proper groomer for my shihtzu, I learned how cut my dog’s hair and clip his nails. When I owned cats, I did extensive research on diet to ensure they had all the nutrition they needed. I’m still fairly new to owning bunnies but I have learned a lot from vet visits and testimonials from other bun parents! I work two other jobs but I make my own schedule so I can fit late afternoon and nightly check ins, baths, walks, overnight sitting, and errands into my day if that’s what you’d like. I would love to spend as much time as I can making sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of. I don’t want to break an animal’s routine so if you have your pet on a schedule/routine, diet, or regiment of some sort, I plan to stick to that.

About: I have always grown up with having a pet in the home. Currently, I have two: a young 1 year old shitzu and a senior 11 year old maltipoo (you can imagine how they get along). I have basic skills on training some tricks. My true enjoyment is playing with pets. They heal something in me, and I think they know that. I am currently transitioning from being a full-time graduate student to full-time employee. It has been interesting to say the least. That said, my schedule is very flexible! I am on the onboarding process to a part time. However, I am happy to work with any owner to ensure a happy puppy. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced front yard, so I will take out any pets with a leash for safety. I do have two small house dogs who are very friendly and happy to welcome any new friends.

About: Having my owns pets (a cat and three dogs) contributes greatly to my experience as a pet care taker. Although I have a lot of experience taking care of family and friends’ pets. I will be going to school part time so a lot of my time will be dedicated towards loving and taking care of your pets! With my own pets I am patient and attentive but I also know how to have fun. I house and pet sit for short and long term needs, and am looking to expand my client base! Im currently going to school at Bakersfield College Monday-Wednesday! For daily care, I make sure the pet gets attention, exercise, and interaction, not just basic needs. That can include walks, playtime, accidents if needed, refreshing water, and making sure the home is kept tidy and secure while I’m there. I’m also careful about safety double checking doors, gates, leashes, and making sure pets don’t get into anything they shouldn’t. I pay attention to how the pet is acting so I can notice any changes in mood, appetite, or behavior and communicate that right away if something seems off. I don’t just “stop by and do tasks” I treat it like I’m temporarily responsible for the pet’s wellbeing and comfort, and I make sure they feel calm and cared for while their owner is away.

About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover who has lived with 5 different dogs over the years and cared for friends’ and neighbors’ dogs as well when needed. In our free time alone, my dog Yeager and I like to go on adventures hiking and camping together. When I care for your dog, they will have all the love, play, and attention they need since I am at home full time. I am at home full time to care for your pet. About: My passion for animals started when I was young. I begged for a puppy at the age ten until I got one. My first pet was a teacup chihuahua, named Teacup, and I absolutely adored her. Twelve years later, I owned a Husky mix, named Smokey. Which provided me with experience handling small and large dogs. I also have experience working at Saint Louis Zoo is Missouri. It started off as an internship, then the next year I worked as a part-time zoo keeper for a year. I also have experience volunteering at SPCA through highschool. For colloge I attended Harris-Stowe State University, and majored in Biology. I completed 100 credits. I also love walking and going for a jog, so we would spend a lot of time outside, if the pet wants. I understand all pets have different behaviors and personalities, so I make sure I know about the dog before the booking.
