“Shanna is great. She has been patient and collaborative in planning for my Roxie's care. We had a meet and greet, then a short daycare stay, then a full day of daycare. She is well versed in dog behavior. My dog, coincidentally a "pitbull type" is often categorized and judged as "vicious or aggressive" even before people meet her. I've had dog sitters on Rover decline to provide services simply because of her breed or her appearance. Shanna understands that Roxie is a dog: a dog with her own level of prey drive (so Roxie is not allowed in her daughter's room cause of the hamster she has); a dog with some anxiety who barked at her husband when he came into the house. They didn't freak out. Shanna understood Roxie's behavior and worked through it, allowing Roxie to get to know her husband, settle and move on. I truly appreciate her family's openness and acceptance. We have two more full days of daycare booked and if all continues well, we will book boarding services. Roxie is people and dog friendly, but the discrimination we have experienced on Rover, leads me to take things in a new daycare/boarding situation slowly. Shanna has been very reassuring and understanding. throughout the process. I HIGHLY recommend her.”

About: I have been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. I have always wanted to be a vet and will do the best I can for any furbaby that comes my way. Always making sure I do the best for my pets so they can live their life to the fullest. I would do anything for my pets to make sure they are happy and healthy. I know a lot about all animals I love learning new things about them if I have not already. I personally trained my families pets and the all love they way the are and how they behave. I'm still learning to become a vet so one day I can save all the furbabies I possibly can as a vet. I'm currently working only in the early mornings, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! Also take them on walks and even just hang out and relax with them. I am very flexible lmk what works for you :) I care for pets as if they are my own by that i mean i would feed them at the appropriate feeding times and always leave ice water out, constant potty breaks, plenty of play time and walks! I have plenty of toys as well if your pup likes to independently play. lots of cuddles and mental stimulation such as lick treats, treat mats, and toys such as kongs, snuffle mat and chew toys

About: I've taken care of multiple dogs of all ages bce my family runs a foster home for the animals. I've taken care of newborn puppies with no mom's all the way to old doggies who need help getting around. I love to care for them spend time with them play with them groom them. I love animals alot and would love to care for your pets and be a person to give them extra love 💕. I'll be sure to give your pet the same love and affection and care that you would so they don't feel any different from being away from you. Im currently going to school online for animal science so I have unlimited time to be there for your pets. So for any house sittings I won’t have to leave and go anywhere I can stay with your baby’s the whole time I have a fenced back and front yard and have a German shepherd puppy I also have areas for your pet to have s space away from from my pets. No pets will be in contact with each other unless you let me know it's okay otherwise. For inhome care I'll take care of your pet the way you wouls care for them so they don't feel any different,and be very respectful of my clients home and rules, while also providing love and care for your pet. If any special requests are wanted I will fully accommodate them and make sure they are done correctly. Any medicine your fur baby's may need i can give them to them and ensure no harm or pain will come to your pet. I'll love your baby's the way you would, they will feel no different with you being away.

About: I love and have cared for dogs since I was 15, I have patience for any breed and I have open availability. My most recent dog I cared for is a pug. He was a puppy and I trained him how to go on the pee pads and when he got a little older we went for walks. I always go for walks, always make sure the puppy/dog gets enough attention, food and water. I have watched all sizes of breeds from chihuahua to a husky, unfortunately because I just moved into an apartment I could not watch bigger breeds from home but I am always willing to drive to you! About: I have been involved with dogs since I was 12 years old when I started raising Guide Dogs for the blind. After that I worked at a kennel/training facility for 6 years, then became a dog groomer for 10 years as well as went back to more kennel work. I also breed and show border collies and train them for a variety of different events. To say my live revolves around my dogs is an understatement. I have been working with dogs for over 30 years in a variety of aspects. I work from home 8-4:30 with a lunch break. I am able to check on your pups before and after work and even on my lunch break depending on the proximity of our homes. In my home my dogs are indoors with me during the day. They go outside for 20 minutes every hour (supervised only). During they day they have their own dog room next to the living room where I work. Toys beds and crates fill their area. I treat your dog just like one of my own when they are with me. Our dogs sleep in our room with us as well. In your home its your rules and what you need out of a sitter. I would ideally like to take your dog outside to play or for a walk (if that is what they would like). Really it's about the dog and trying to keep a normal routine.
