“Rocky can be a picky dog, with humans and dogs. When I dropped him off for daycare I was so nervous that he wouldn’t play nice and would wreak havoc. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I picked him up and they said he did great. By the time we got home, he was snoring away. Jill and Liz did great with Rocky and he will definitely be back! Big plus for sending me a photo after about 30 minutes assuring me he was fine :)”

About: I love dogs and have had several throughout my life, I've house sat for dog owners before and know exactly what it takes for different dogs and lifestyles. I'm free all day any day aside from Tuesdays and Thursdays unfortunately because that's when I have my college classes in person in the daytime. My house and neighborhood are very pet friendly. About: I am a Fear Free certified veterinary technician of 13 years who grew up in the show dog world (AKC) before getting into rescue as an adult. Throughout my long-lived animal career I have participated in puppy/kitten/basic obedience training, behavioral rehabilitation, dog sport training, senior care, care for animals with extreme medical needs, and owned/operated a group play doggie daycare. My jobs, hobbies, and passions are all centered around animals and I can't wait to bring that passion to you! I am home full-time, and available for puppies and animals with heavy needs. I have a fairly set schedule for all of the pets in my care, and that level of routine provides comfort to even the most nervous of pups. I am the only Fear Free pet carer in Bakersfield! I provide comforting classical music as well as calming pheromones in the sleeping spaces to make their stay as stress-free as possible. I have a fenced yard and never leave dogs together unsupervised. I do not provide an environment suitable for animals with a history of dog aggression. Small dogs I can be more flexible with, as their attitude usually comes from a place of fear and that is something I can work with for the little guys.

About: It was always my dream to work with dogs so I took a two year veterinary class in high school and received a certificate for accomplishing the skills needed to work with dogs and I did volunteer at the spca dog shelter for a month and a half and I am now currently in college studying to get my degree to be a veterinarian . I am very flexible lmk what works for you :) I care for pets as if they are my own by that i mean i would feed them at the appropriate feeding times and always leave ice water out, constant potty breaks, plenty of play time and walks! I have plenty of toys as well if your pup likes to independently play. lots of cuddles and mental stimulation such as lick treats, treat mats, and toys such as kongs, snuffle mat and chew toys
