“Cynthia was the best! I don’t know what I would have done without her. I was so nervous leaving by 2 girls alone when I had to leave for a business trip. Cynthia came over daily as schedule made sure they got the attention needed. I highly recommend her!”

“Jaden has always been so courteous, flexible, and understanding within my home and pets! She is the most thoughtful person to meet your pets needs. I’m so grateful to have met her for my babies!”

“Just finished our first three days and Suzie is doing a great job with our two dogs. They warmed up to her right away and are so excited to see her. Suzie is handling our nervous mix wonderfully. I’m confident and comfortable with Suzie’s ability to handle both dogs in a neighborhood with lots of other dog walkers. Knowing the pups are in capable hands brings or family great comfort ❤️👍🐕🐶👏”

“Sahvanna has been such a blessing! She has endless patience with my dog who does not trust easily. After one week, I now see him staring at the door hoping she walks through to take him out. I could not recommend her enough! Thank you!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is I have lots of experience with training puppies and working with retrievers. I also have a family member that is a vet tech, which is very handy cause I can call her whenever there was a question about something with your beloved pet. I’m also a feng shui consultant so I will bring good vibes and energy to your pet and home! I currently work remotely, so it’s easy to be home with the pet for long periods of time and give all the love! Sometimes I will need to go to clients houses so I would be gone for about 4 to 5 hours so that will be needed in order to fit with my schedule, but I don’t always have clients so it is situational. I’m very good at following detailed instructions that you leave in order to keep your pets and home safe. An example would be ensuring that the cat stays in the house so the coyotes don’t get it or making sure to take the dog on walks in areas they are comfortable with.

I’m a reliable helper for your four legged friend, or friends! As a masters student, most of my classes are online asynchronous. Offering more structure in the form of pet sitting, house sitting, or dog walking will help me stay on task. Plus pets are always the best study buddies! I will treat your pets as my own (back home we have 2 dogs, 3 cats, and 12 chickens) and respect your home. I believe in leaving one’s home how you found it.

About: I began to offer pet-sitting to friends and family just for some dog breath and tail wags in my life after my dog passed away. A family member told me about Rover and - here I am! I know how important pets are to the families they love and how important it is to have peace of mind that they are in good hands while you're away. I will ensure that your fur baby has all that they need while they wait on their favorite human/s to come home. I've taken care of a dogs for most of my life. My childhood dog was one of my best friends. We would play together for hours and I was responsible to feed, bathe, and clean up after him. He loved belly rubs and going with us on family walks. When the neighbor's dogs broke through the fence and attacked him, I was the one who flushed and cleaned his wounds, changed his bandages, and nursed him back to health after he came home from the vet. He became diabetic when he grew old and I gave him his insulin shots. I also had an outdoor cat, and pet sat for a neighbor who had an iguana, fish, water turtles, and cockatiels. As an adult, I adopted a pit-mix rescue and we enjoyed obedience training, going to the dog park, car rides for a pup cup, going for walks, and playing tug-of-war. Last year, he was diagnosed with an oral tumor and he needed lots of extra care during his last months. He needed medication 3 times a day, a specialized diet when it became difficult for him to eat kibble, and eventually hand-feeding for him to be able to eat at all. He passed away 14 years old. I wouldn't trade one minute. I'm currently working part-time in the morning and would love to spend my afternoons with animals. If you need someone to care for your pet mid-day, we're the perfect match. I provide care where your pet feels safest - in their own home environment. Please leave me detailed instructions so I know where to find their food and food bowl, leash, toys, medications, etc. If you have spacial boundaries for your pet such as not being allowed on the couch or bed, in specific rooms, or if they are outside-dog only, etc., please let me know so I can respect and enforce those boundaries.

“You cannot ask for anyone better than Katrina to walk your dog! She is punctual, knowledgeable about dogs, and she also clearly loves animals. My little terrier came back happy and exercised. Thank you, Katrina!”

“Lindsay is extremely professional and communicative. She sends photos, updates, and notes everytime she comes. We are happy to trust her in our home, and with our baby. She has worked with us, despite an ever changing schedule. AMy pup loves her, and he is the true judge.”

About: Hi my friends call me Mindy, and I have been caring for dogs since I was a kid. I grew-up with German Shepherds as members of our family, and I've taken care of dogs for friends and family for many years. I love all kinds of dogs from miniatures to Mastiff's, I've handled them all. I'm comfortable with high energy dogs, and dogs that may need extra patience and care. I am well versed in handling special diets, administering oral medications and administering shots if needed. I am experienced with puppies to senior dogs, those with anxiety, and other sensitive behaviors. I love to play with them with toys or mental interaction, or sit with them, or whatever activity they enjoy. I would love to take pictures and/or video and send them to you, and I can coordinate face time with you so you can see your baby/ies and say hello to them whenever you want. You can check out the pictures in my gallery of dogs I've cared for, and the pictures I've sent to their parents! I create a loving, caring and attentive environment where they will thrive and quite possibly not miss you while you're gone at all! I live by the rule: If I see a dog, I am legally required to say "hello" (in the universal voice used by many pet lovers), and briefly introduce myself. I am retired after a career in broadcast journalism & social media marketing. My availability is WIDE OPEN for any day of the week for all services I offer. I have recently moved back to Bakersfield from Bend, OR and I look forward to continuing to offer my services here. **I can keep your pets on schedule with their meals, medication, walks, play time and potty breaks. Whatever they may need while you're gone, I can take care of for you in your absence. When caring for dogs, I am committed to creating an environment of safety, cleanliness, and an enjoyable environment based on their specific needs. I absolutely make sure all opportunities of escape are thwarted, ensuring their safety at all times. When I take them for walks, I make sure all harnesses and collars are worn appropriately, and they remain on leash at all times to ensure safety and control. I am attentive during play time to make sure they stay hydrated and take breaks when needed. I am always aware of unsafe opportunities such as plants and objects that could potentially hurt your dog. I am always prepared with basic first aid, and will have emergency contacts with me at all times. It's my goal, that the time I spend with your dog(s); will be happy, healthy and safe while you're away for 1 hour, 8 hours, or several days. Your dog(s) become an extended member of my pack!

About: I have experience and patience to deal with dogs. My house is well maintenance and have a big yard for dogs to run around and play I have the time to do it. They just need to let me know with time what days and times will they drop off and pick up I keep them in a save enviroment. Feed them as told by per owner. Will have them in good care. “Haley was amazing with Sirius. I had a work emergency out of state and needed someone to walk Sirius during the day while the husband is at work. Luckily, Haley agreed to walk Sirius. She gave him care and attention when I was far away and sent photos during the walks. Would highly recommend Haley and definitely will book her again. Thanks so much for taking care of our pup.”

About: I have experience with many animals with big and small dogs. I also have experience watching dogs who may be a little more high maintenance. I don’t have a limit to how many dogs I can watch, as I have watch up to 7 dogs in one household multiple different times, and been recommended by former clients multiple times! I have a job currently but I make my own hours. I work with kids now but I’d rather work with animals. My routine for this summer is pretty open. I have a fence around my yard and use leashes when walking in public. If it’s a smaller dog and I’m walking pass a bigger scarier dog that the small dog will try to attack I will pick them up. Or if I’m walking more than one or it’s a big dog I will cross the street to avoid the dogs. I always make sure the outside is safe or gate/doors are locked so the dogs can’t escape. And I always make sure they have water available to them.
