I house and pet sit for short and long term needs, and am looking to expand my client base! Im currently going to school at Bakersfield College Monday-Wednesday! About: I have taken care of many animals, including some that most would consider incredibly difficult, so if your pets need more care or attention that won’t be a problem. I have handled dogs that are aggressive towards other dogs so I know what to do in situations like that. I have also taken care of days old kittens and I understand how to care and provide for young animals. I am self employed and my schooling is online so I have no scheduling conflicts. I am available at any time of any day really. I am able to take care of your pet however you need me to. I have taken care of pets who needed a lot of supervision and pets that needed very little. I love going on walks with them and I will take them to parks or things like that if that’s something you would like! I am currently self employed so I can work around any schedule. When I do house sitting, I usually do my work during the day and take as many breaks as needed to stop by the house and take care of the pets, and then I spend the night time spending more time with them. I have taken care of all different types of pets ranging from low to high maintenance. I have experience with escape artists and I am very aware and take special attention to ensure no one gets out. I also have experience with aggressive pets and I know how to handle myself in difficult situations. I feel like this is especially important for dogs that require walks because I am extra aware of other dogs in the area and I am more attentive to make sure there aren’t any quarrels.

I make sure pets are secure at all times during walks, including proper leash handling and awareness of surroundings. During drop-in visits, I focus on making sure pets are fed, have fresh water, get potty breaks, and receive attention and playtime so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away. About: I’ve been the family baby/dog sitter since I was 13! My whole family have always had pets and relied on me to take care of them! In my home, I occasionally use a crate for my german shepherd, most of the time he is loose. He’s gotten accustomed to sleeping on my bed or my parent’s bedroom and we feed him early in the morning. Following his morning meal is a long walk. We make sure he’s well groomed with daily brushing and a wash once a week. Levi has allergies so we make sure to always apply topical remedies and purchase a high quality kind of dog food.

I’m comfortable caring for senior and special-needs pets, administering oral and injected medications, and keeping up with high-energy dogs who need plenty of exercise and play. About: I’ve worked with an adoption foundation in San Diego for two years helping rescue dogs get adopted, walking them, sitting them, and even fostering! I live in Bakersfield during school semesters and have rescued and returned three dogs and cats to their owners! I am a student athlete and I work very hard to keep up on tasks throughout my day. I play beach, volleyball and workout, apart from that I’m a huge animal lover! I have lots of free time as I have just finished my collegiate career in sports and school! I have stayed at a few friends houses to watch their animals overnight. I have dog and cat sit multiple times within the span of two years going into the home making sure there is water and food. If I’m requested to take dogs on a walk, I do, and I tend to spend an hour to, however, long with the animal to ensure connection!

Currently, I have 3 dogs in my home and a crested gecko. I have a doggy door and so my doggies are able to come in and out as they please especially due to the hot weather right now!

About: Have hand reared newborn kittens from day 1 from feeding to weighing for managing their health, to potty training and feeding training, managed 16 cats simultaneously ages newborn to adult. I also own a Chihuahua who is 13 years old. I take care of my own pets with feeding them breakfast and before I go to work I will give them all a treat before I leave. When I get home, I provide dinner for them and a treat before my bedtime. When I am home, my pets get treats and love scratches along with their special bed or cat trees to lay on. When I am away, I will set the TV on for them to listen to.

About: I've worked with special needs animals all my life from tri-pawds, deaf, and blind animals to those with dietary restrictions, behavioral issues, anxiety, and sensitivity to stimuli. Currently I am also employed by a farm that has working breads for dogs and barn cats. I work with a changing and flexible schedule and three days off per week, leaving me plenty of time for checking in on your furry friend. My animals have special dietary needs along with special care for allergies and sensitive skin. They receive joint supplements, specially vetted foods, special bathing requirements, and seasonal medications. I'm well versed at the care special needs animals require because of this.
