“Michelle was wonderful to work with and was extremely professional and flexible in accepting a last minute booking. She kept us updated throughout our stay and took great care of our pup. We’d absolutely recommend Michelle to anyone needing pet care!”

“Klaudia was a great pet sitter! She sent pictures and updates about our pup each day, which was really nice. She was easy to communicate with and we would absolutely book her again.”

About: I had a dog, her name was Kenya from 8-15 and she unfortunately passed from health conditions. She was a family dog I’ve known and looked after since I can remembered, my cousin gave her to me and my mother when they moved. As she got older, me and my mother had to give her medication for a couple months before, paying close attention to her habits during her later months :/ . I currently have a small, short-haired grey Cat named Sonny. I visit my cousin frequently throughout the month and I always offer to walk her dog because I enjoy walks! I’m currently working as a full time ortho assistant Mon-Thursday, Usually leaving the office around 4:30 pm. Fri-Sun I’m completely free. For overnight stays during my work days, I am willing to travel from your home to my job, leaving in the early mornings After consulting with future clients, I’ll keep track of any dietary needs, special care instructions and any indicator habits I should know about prior to servicing your fur baby!❤️
“Felicia was wonderful! Every email was returned quickly. Our dog, Walter loved being with her. She was prompt and friendly. We will definitely book her again. Thanks.”

“Brandon was fantastic. He was prompt, easy to communicate with, took great care of my two dogs for a week. He left my condo very clean!! I came home to clean sheets on my bed!! I would highly recommend him.”

“Yogi loved having Leslie to watch him! She also had a meet and greet earlier in the week to meet Yogi so he was familiar with her. She made sure all of his needs were met and enjoyed playing with him. Yogi can’t wait to have her back!”

“Samantha was fantastic! She did everything that was asked of her and the pups and cats were happy when they were with her. Our home was taken care of when we were gone and we can’t wait to use her again!”

“Duncan was fantastic and will use him again!. We have (2) small dogs (Frenchie and Pug) and have only had them stay with family. Our recent 2 week vacation did not line up with our family's availability so I had to find someone through Rover. So glad that I found Duncan. He is very responsive and thorough with his questions.. He took excellent care of our high maintenance pups (giving them meds and lots of love). He stayed in our home and left it in great condition. Will continue to use him for our vacation trips as well as business trips.”

About: I have been around dogs almost my whole life and enjoy taking care of them! I got my dog when I was around 15 and she is genuinely the best part of my life! I know how difficult it is to find someone you trust enough to take care of your dog and will make sure that I can be that person for others. I’ve dog sat for people throughout the years and it is such an amazing experience to spend time with the dogs. I am currently searching for a full time job after recently finishing university so my availability to take care of your furry loved ones is pretty open. Growing up my mom has always been employed as a house cleaner and would take me with her to help, from a young age I’ve always known how to respect people’s homes even when they are not present. Ensuring that people are comfortable enough to trust me with their pet in their home is my utmost priority.
“This was the first time we used Addies services for our two Great Danes. She was great. Kept us informed about them. They loved her. And they went looking for her after we got home.❤️ we would definitely love for her to care for our dogs again.”

“Eileen has been doing drop-in visits with our puppy for a few months now and the care she has shown him has been wonderful! We rest assured knowing that she is dropping in to look after him and he absolutely loves her visits. Recently we had to go out of town and Eileen house sat our dog for about a week. Not only did she provide excellent care, she left the house cleaner than it's ever been! Whether it's for drop-in visits or house sitting with your pups, we highly recommend Eileen.”

“Ken is awesome. He watched our pup (Wally) for 3 days and in that time, we got lots of pictures and updates. We feel so thankful that Wally can stay comfortable and taken care of at home while we're away.”

“Ryan did an amazing job taking care of our Ricki in our house while we were away. She constantly communicated with us and sent pictures. She also did an excellent job managing Ricki's distrust of strangers. She also helped us by feeding our fish, and collecting our mail. Overall and excellent job, I will definitely use her services”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who’s been surrounded by dogs and cats my entire life. Caring for animals has always been a passion of mine, and I’m currently going to school to become a professional dog trainer. Because of my flexible school schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. For the past 11 months, I’ve worked at a dog daycare and boarding facility, where I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, ages, and personalities. My job has taught me how to safely handle group play, recognize canine body language, administer basic care, and ensure every dog feels comfortable and secure. I’m currently going to school to become a professional dog trainer. Because of my flexible school schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care, I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members, and I’m committed to providing reliable, compassionate care while keeping you updated every step of the way. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets! 🐾
About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and truly love spending time with them. I have two dogs of my own and have experience dogsitting multiple dogs at once, including a 15-year-old dog with severe arthritis, so I understand the patience and gentle care senior dogs need. I’m extremely reliable, active, and will always make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away! I will be leaving to head back to College on August 23rd, but until then my schedule is pretty open! Just shoot me a message and I will most likely be able to make it work! I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. In their home, I try to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions I receive from their owner. I make sure to give them lots of attention, exercise, and cuddles while also keeping the owners home clean and secure. My goal is to help all fur babies feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away!

“Rosie was an amazing dog sitter. She kept us updated with pictures and gave our dogs lots of love. One of our dogs is very shy and nervous and she did a great job handling that. I would be happy to book her anytime!”

“Nicole sat with our dog and cat for 5 days. Both animals were totally comfortable with her even our very shy rescue cat. It was wonderful to come home to calm animals that were well taken care of! Nicole was good about sending photos and updates. I will definitely use her again.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Seneca Upland walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Seneca Upland maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Seneca Upland choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
