“Our dogs had a great weekend with Addie! They were by her side most of the time enjoying her company! Addie is trustworthy and great with our two cavapoos and we hope she will come back again in the future!”

“I have to thank Collin for his patience and willingness to watch my furry duo. He managed to somehow feed my poor dogs using sorcery and sheer willpower to scrounge whatever I had left after my dog’s food was stolen from my doorstep. My dogs also adore and trust him so he gets 100/10. Thank you so much, Collin!”

“Samantha was fantastic! She did everything that was asked of her and the pups and cats were happy when they were with her. Our home was taken care of when we were gone and we can’t wait to use her again!”

“Felicia was great! Sent me lots of pics, left my home spotless, and my pups were happy when I got back. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Will definitely use her again!”

“I can’t say enough about Eileen. She is so detailed and is so great with our crazy dogs. She is professional and kind, going above and beyond while making it look effortless. We will have her back as often as we can.”

About: I've been taking care of my friends' and family's pets for years now. At first, I would take care of their cats despite being allergic just so they could have someone reliable (plus I love cats). Within the past year, I've been starting to pet sit for dogs both overnight and stop-in visits. I'm a huge dog lover, from small dogs to big dogs, especially the big ones that still think they're little babies. I would be honored if you trusted me with the care of ur pets <3 (plus I love sending photos of ur pets while ur away just so you know they're in good hands) I currently work 4-8 on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I'm free throughout the morning and after work. I'm starting classes at the start of September, so I'm free to care for ur furry friends any time between those slots. I'm a huge animal lover, so if your pets need extra love when ur away, I can 100% do that. Im also a big nature person, so daily walks are more than fine. I know some animals are afraid of storms or loud noises, and when that happens, I tend to stay with them to offer some comfort so they feel more at ease.
“Klaudia was a great pet sitter! She sent pictures and updates about our pup each day, which was really nice. She was easy to communicate with and we would absolutely book her again.”

“Ana has done housesitting for us several times, including an extended trip, to care of our human-loving dog. She gives our pup so much love and always leaves the house as if she wasn’t even there. She is great about communicating with photos and text updates and making sure everything is OK. We will continue to use Ana in the future.”

“Duncan is a great sitter for our dog Ashton and cat Kitty Cane. He asks questions and wants what is best for our pets as if they were his own. We are definitely going to continue to be a repeat customer!”

“Michelle was a great. Communication was excellent and she sent many photos and updates. Our dogs loved her and I felt confident leaving them in her care. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

“Brandon was fantastic. He is a great communicator and clearly gave my dogs lots of love and attention while we were away. I highly recommend Brandon for your pet care needs!”

About: I've had family dogs for 13 years, but started taking care of some of my neighbors' dogs 5 years ago, whether it be taking them for potty breaks or staying over at their house to give them attentive care. I work part time at a pet boarding place as a kennel tech, so I have lots of experience with many different breeds and temperaments of both cats and dogs. I've worked with dogs of all sizes, from Yorkie to Saint Bernard, and have lots of experience caring for both puppies and senior pets that might need more rigorous attention. I will be working part-time this summer, meaning that on the occasional days I work, I am available any time before 8am and then after 1-2pm. I can still stay over with your pet any day, that just means that on workdays, I would feed and walk them (And any other things necessary) before 8am, and then have to leave for work and then come back at 1-2. Whenever I am not actively at work, I can spend all my time caring for your pets! I am experienced at reading pet body language and adapting to how they respond. I am very communicative and will send lots of updates about your pet, including daily pictures of your fur babies! I can supply treats (with your approval) and can take them to parks and other places for walks, as I have a car and license. I'm dedicated to making sure your animal is as happy as can be :-)

“If there was a way to give more than five stars I would give all of them to Relle. Not only did she take great care of my pets, I feel that she developed a good bond with them as well. I received wonderful updates everyday with photos while I was away and I felt my home was in great hands.”

In their home, I try to follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions I receive from their owner. My goal is to help all fur babies feel relaxed and cared for while their owners are away!
“Ken took such good care of our boy Hamlet. He’s just such a natural around dogs and is funny to boot. Very jovial and attentive with a great sense of humor. He gave us updates for each time he checked in Hamlet on each day with a report on meal time, potty breaks, and play time. Also sent cute pictures! Ken clearly loves dogs and shows that in his care for them. I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.”

About: I've done pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors for most of my life. This includes care of dogs to include feeding, play, walking, and administering meds if applicable. I currently have a six year old English Bulldog who is a stubborn sweetheart and I regularly pet sit for a family member's pitbull mix. I will be available on marked days, most regularly weekends as well as selected weekday options as I have a flexible/remote work set-up. I take care of pets of my own (as well as children) so I can confidently fill in to care for your pet. I have reliable transportation and defined radius on my profile so I can arrange for several walks and in home check-ins and care throughout the day and evening. When/if I do board or care for a client's pet in my home, there is a fenced in backyard and one other dog in the home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Seneca Upland
Another great house sitting for our pets by Nicole. Whenever we leave them with her, we know they will be well taken cared of. She also went the extra mile by shoveling our walkway and driveway during the winter storm. You won’t regret choosing Nicole for your pet sitting needs.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
The average cost for House Sitting in Seneca Upland on Rover is $55.5 per night (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.
Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of July 2026, there are 11,225 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Seneca Upland. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Seneca Upland walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Seneca Upland maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Seneca Upland choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
