âRon took great care of our dogs over a five day period during a busy holiday season. His drop-in visits occurred in the schedule we had requested, and he managed the daily walks we had asked for in addition to the regular feeding, watering, and backyard visits. With all the real-time notices of his visits, and we were able to relax and enjoy our trip. Great experience!â

âMallory was our savior! On a trip out of town, our automatic chicken door stopped working in the mornings, and she was able to start right away to let our girls out, even with all of the snow. She was quick to respond and always arrived on time.â

âMelissa has been dropping in to check on my dog twice a week for few weeks now. Sheâs great at communicating and patient with Bunny (sheâs a bit shy of new friends)! I also appreciate that she thinks ahead for holidays to check if Iâll be home during normal days she checks on Bunny. I highly recommend her and I would give 10/5 stars if I could! Thanks Melissa!â

âdalton goes above and beyond. he has been a huge help with getting our new rescue into a routine and helping us deal with all the messiness of a new pet transition. highly recommend.â

âTaryn did such a great job taking care of our dog while we were away! So grateful for her. She is communicative, responsible, and so kind. Would highly recommend!!â

âIf I could give Kadyn 10 out of 5 stars, I would. Not only did she come to our rescue when our other sitter unexpectedly (and quite unceremoniously, I should add) canceled our pet-sitting while my husband and I were across the ocean, but she also consistently went above and beyond. I sent her all the materials I had sent the other sitter and tried to be as available as possible, but she honestly didn't really need me. She took such amazing care of our two kitties and sent even better pictures and updates. If you're able to book her, absolutely do. Impeccable isn't praise enough.â

âLindsay is great with my dogs. She is flexible and always super helpful if my plans change, even going above and beyond when we had an out of town emergency. I don't have to worry when I know she is coming!â

About: We have had pets all of our life. From dogs to cats, bunnies, hamsters, and mice! We love going on walks, playing in the house or snuggling up on the couch. Special diets are no problem. I have taken care of geriatric pets and tummy sensitive pets before. I work 3 days a week. Katie is home all the time and is able to tend to your baby all day so your fur baby won't be lonely! We have a fenced in back yard and a cozy living room with plenty of dog beds to go around. I live right by a park with a walking trail for potty breaks. We do have 4 dogs and 3 cats of our own that are very friendly and love to play.
About: Iâm here to make sure your pup gets plenty of attention, exercise, and comfort while youâre away! As a farm kid turned professional dog groomer now living in the big city, I bring lifelong animal experience and love to every visit. I grew up caring for dogs, cats, horses, and chickens, which gave me a strong sense of responsibility and confidence with animals of all sizes and temperaments. Iâm especially patient with senior dogs as my own pup is aging, so I understand the gentle care and extra attention they may need. Thanks to my grooming background and experience handling horses, Iâm also comfortable managing larger, high-energy dogs. I tailor each visit to your dogâs unique needs, whether thatâs a quick potty break, a long walk to burn off energy, or calm companionship. I always provide daily photo updates so you can feel confident your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I work a full-time job four days a week, but Iâm available all day on Mondays and select weekday evenings. On my available days, I provide reliable walks, drop-ins, and attentive care that fits smoothly into my routine. For walks, I tailor the pace and distance to your dogâs age, size, and energy level: gentle and patient for senior dogs, fast pace for the younger pups. During drop-ins, I make sure your pet gets potty breaks, meals if needed, playtime, and lots of attention.
About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and had a mini dachshund for 15 years. Over the last decade I've been called on numerous times to watch and board dogs for friends, family and neighbors. I am a single dad who has custody of my kids 50/50 so when I don't have them I could give a dog my undivided attention and be its best friend! On weekends we could hit a trail or go for a long walk at a park. Monday through Friday I usually leave for work around 6:45 or 7, and will return home around 4 pm. And in the evening we'll hang out and have fun! I live within walking distances to a few parks for walks. The Trolley Trail is nearby too if your pet likes a bit of a longer walk.
âI can not say enough nice things about Aaliyah and the care she gave to our big 140lb baby girl! Aaliyah was very responsive to messages, which is a huge plus to me. She treated our dog with the utmost love and attention. This was my first time using Rover and I am so glad to have picked such a responsible/friendly/kind and patient young lady to care for our furry family member. (I say patient because I am detail oriented and I can / will / did leave sticky notes with instructions, as well as a notebook)! I highly recommend Aaliyah to care for your furry friends! Thank you again Aaliyah! Fiona says thank you also! ?â

âMarissa did an outstanding job caring for my two cats over my wedding weekend. Her thoughtful updates and adorable photo check-ins gave me so much peace of mind during such a hectic time. She followed every instruction to the letter, and I could tell my cats felt safe and comfortable, their usual post-trip skittishness was completely gone. Iâm so grateful for her care and canât wait to book her again!â

âLulu was a huge help today as I traveled out of town for my first day of work! It sounds like both doggos behaved and she seemed to enjoy hanging out with them over their potty break. I am looking forward to her next visit!â

âShannon is fantastic! She takes such great care of my cat, Mickey. She goes above and beyond her duties as a pet sitter, from leaving pet waste bags behind for me to try to giving me recommendations for places to visit on a recent vacation. She is the greatest!â

âOlga is amazing with my boys!! Sheâs very sweet with them and always makes sure they have plenty of love!! My biggest dog can be jumpy and demanding. She is amazing with him!!â

âMy cat loves Rachel! I couldn't be happier with the care my pet received from Rachel. She was attentive, reliable, and made sure my pet felt comfortable and loved while I was away. I highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!â

âKaty is wonderful with our senior cat, Fredo, who has special medical needs and likes a lot of attention. We always come home to a happy and content cat, so we know that Katy has taken great care of him while we were gone! We highly recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter in the KC area.â

Self Help Neighborhood Council pet parents share their Rover experiences
Crissy went above and beyond to take care of my 3 pets. I had a family emergency while I was traveling, so they extended the checkins. When we had a blizzard, they took my dog Sadie to their house and cared for her until the storm cleared. It means a lot to me that they took care of things so I could attend to my family in Pennsylvania. Thank you!

This was our 2nd time booking with Avery, both times for a holiday away! She is amazing with our 2 cats and is so thorough and communicative, which has been such a necessity and relief for the care of our kitty boys who have anxiety and medical needs. Will rebook whenever possible!

Dalton is so accommodating with our changing busy lives. he's watched extra pets when we were dog sitting for family, he took my dog to the basement during a tornado siren, and has even picked up accidents in the house when we were training a new rescue. He is such a big help to our family and he treats our dogs so well.

Sarah was the best! I felt very comfortable knowing my cats were in good hands. She was very responsive and had clear communication with each visit. She went the extra mile to ensure the cats were fed, played with, taken care of, and received plenty of attention. I'd definitely recommend her to a friend and use her in the future!

Carmen and Katie were amazing! They were always on time and sent us lots of (happy) pictures of our furbaby. Ping-Pong is elderly and needs meds twice a day. All meds were dispensed as directed and cuddles were given liberally. We will use them again and I highly recommend them! I guarantee you and your furbabies will not be disappointed!
