“Mallory was our savior! On a trip out of town, our automatic chicken door stopped working in the mornings, and she was able to start right away to let our girls out, even with all of the snow. She was quick to respond and always arrived on time.”

“So easy to communicate with! I am happy to finally find someone in my area that I can rely on taking care of my dog & cat. Thank you for the positive energy too ❤️”

“Deidre was our first Rover sitter and we couldn’t have been more pleased. She provided excellent care to our senior dog and wonderful updates after each visit. I highly recommend her!”
About: I personally trained our two family dogs, Edward & Bella (shelties). We sadly lost them both the last 3 years, however. I love dogs/cars and still trying to convince my fiancé to get one of our own. I would show anyone’s pet with the same respect I’d give to my own. I enjoy helping others and their pets even more. I’m very patient and love to play with dogs. I am very friendly and would love to meet your fur baby. I am between careers currently and pursuing my dream job of becoming a firefighter. My fiancé is an ER Doctor and is supporting my career path so I am very available until my courses start in July. I have one trip at the end of April for about 8 days and another in May for only two days. I will be available Monday-Friday (some Saturdays or Sundays if necessary) until that July start time. I have helped multiple friends out with their animals before. I specifically have watched two Golden Retrievers for some friends and my future mother-in-law’s Miniature Schnauzer, multiple times. I love them all like they’re my own and have done everything from feeding them, walking them, playing with them and even staying the night/having them over.
“Meg was fantastic and so great at watching our dog!! We were out of town and received all of the status updates and pictures that we could have hoped for! Meg was very understanding and easy to work with, and really made us feel like our dog was well taken care of (even through 4th of July fireworks!) Highly recommend!”

“Our pets loved having Katy watch after them while we were out of town. We have two senior cats who both need medication/insulin twice daily, and as Katy has two senior cats and two senior dogs of her own, she is very skilled at administering medications if your pet has that need. Our cat Birdy suddenly took ill while we were out of town, and Katy was very prompt with letting us know what was happening and took Birdy to the vet when she needed professional intervention. We are grateful to Katy for her kindness and helpfulness and love for the animals in her care.”
“Becky was a lifesaver with a last minute request! This was our first experience using Rover and we feel so lucky to have found Becky. We enjoyed the updates during her visits and returned home to 2 very well cared for doggos. She even brought in our mail! ?”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and have experience with dogs at every stage of life, from newborn puppies to senior dogs requiring extra care. I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions when needed. I also have experience working with dogs that have behavioral challenges such as separation anxiety, resource guarding, and reactivity. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’m very familiar with canine body language and believe strongly in calm, consistent handling. I’ve helped puppies learn leash walking, basic obedience commands (sit, stay, down, etc.), and have supported owners during early potty-training stages. For boarding, I do require that dogs are already potty trained so they can comfortably integrate into the household routine. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis for an additional cost. My goal is always to create a calm, safe environment where each dog feels comfortable and well cared for. I care for pets full-time, which allows me to maintain a flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and boarding. Dogs staying in my home receive regular potty breaks, exercise, and supervision throughout the day. Because my schedule is flexible, I can accommodate morning, midday, and evening needs and will adapt to your dog’s routine so their schedule stays as consistent as possible. I prioritize a calm, safe environment for every dog in my care. I intentionally board dogs from only one household so each dog receives individual attention and a lower-stress environment compared to high-volume boarding homes. I have my own friendly dog, and I always ensure dogs are a good temperament match before confirming a stay. Meet-and-greets are encouraged so both dogs can become comfortable before the booking. I carefully follow each dog’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any medications or special instructions provided by the owner. Safety and consistency are always my top priorities.
“Megan was wonderful with my 3 cats while we were out of town. I was worried the cats wouldn't warm up having a stranger show up to feed them, but Megan was patient and won them over. As a Rover sitter myself I appreciate the effort it takes to make that happen. I will be recommending Megan to anyone that contacts me to sit that I'm not able to do myself!”

“Rachel was great with Bella! She sent great pics of her while she was doing a drop in visit and taking her for a walk. Looking forward to Rachel taking care of Bella in the future.”

“Michaela is excellent, she has taken care of our dog (80ish lb labradoodle) who is skittish and high energy a couple of times and has done a wonderful job. Will continue to use her as much as she is available! We are able to travel without worrying about the dog at all.”
About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life and had a mini dachshund for 15 years. Over the last decade I've been called on numerous times to watch and board dogs for friends, family and neighbors. I am a single dad who has custody of my kids 50/50 so when I don't have them I could give a dog my undivided attention and be its best friend! On weekends we could hit a trail or go for a long walk at a park. Monday through Friday I usually leave for work around 6:45 or 7, and will return home around 4 pm. And in the evening we'll hang out and have fun! I live within walking distances to a few parks for walks. The Trolley Trail is nearby too if your pet likes a bit of a longer walk.

“Ron took great care of our dogs over a five day period during a busy holiday season. His drop-in visits occurred in the schedule we had requested, and he managed the daily walks we had asked for in addition to the regular feeding, watering, and backyard visits. With all the real-time notices of his visits, and we were able to relax and enjoy our trip. Great experience!”

“Katie was stellar with our cats while we were out of town getting married! So thankful we didn’t have to worry about the fur babies while we had our special day. Thanks Katie!!”

“Thank you so much she kept me updated while my pup had stomach issues over the weekend. I appreciated the peace of mind while I was away from my boy for the first time ever!”

“dalton goes above and beyond. he has been a huge help with getting our new rescue into a routine and helping us deal with all the messiness of a new pet transition. highly recommend.”

Marlborough Heights-Marlborough Pride pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily was very responsive in the process leading up to her time caring for our dogs. She took great care of them and provided a timely update on how they were doing including pictures of their happy faces! We will definitely be using her services again in the future!
Mallory was a wonderful sitter for my two cats! It was very easy for me to leave them in her care. She followed all instructions and even helped clean up scattered litter, which is always appreciated when coming home from being away. Would recommend/book again!

Crissy went above and beyond to take care of my 3 pets. I had a family emergency while I was traveling, so they extended the checkins. When we had a blizzard, they took my dog Sadie to their house and cared for her until the storm cleared. It means a lot to me that they took care of things so I could attend to my family in Pennsylvania. Thank you!

Georgia did a meet and greet with us and our doggos before booking. She was kind and patient and asked pertinent questions. I felt safe and that our dogs were in very capable and caring hands with Georgia. The Rover app is so easy to use and the process was smooth.

Sarah was the best! I felt very comfortable knowing my cats were in good hands. She was very responsive and had clear communication with each visit. She went the extra mile to ensure the cats were fed, played with, taken care of, and received plenty of attention. I'd definitely recommend her to a friend and use her in the future!

Sarah was so wonderful to work with! She was able to accommodate us on a last minute request and our two cats looked forward to seeing her each day. She always sent plenty of photos, and even went the extra mile to move some packages into our apartment while we were gone. Would highly recommend her and would use her again!
