“Meg is wonderful! She has taken care of my (sometimes cranky) cat multiple times now and always does a great job! I feel so much better knowing that my cat is in good hands!”

“Deidre went above and beyond during her time with our pets. So professional, communicative, and responsible. Would strongly recommend her services!”

“What a fantastic experience! Marissa looked over my two cats during our extended honeymoon stay. Marissa was so easy to work with and allowed us to add four additional days onto our honeymoon thanks to her flexibility and professionalism. I truly cannot give a high enough rating for the experience and piece of mind she provided.”

“Mallory was our savior! On a trip out of town, our automatic chicken door stopped working in the mornings, and she was able to start right away to let our girls out, even with all of the snow. She was quick to respond and always arrived on time.”

About: Hi there! I’m Payton, a lifelong dog lover based in the Waldo neighborhood of Kansas City, MO. My love for animals started early, I grew up with a family dog and spent much of my teen years (and even a year in college) volunteering at the local humane society. That experience really shaped my passion for caring for animals, and it’s also where I found my soulmate pup, a 2 year old, 90 lb Anatolian Shepard who is incredibly friendly and loves making new friends! I have become the go-to “fun aunt” for my friends’ and previous roommates’ dogs (and cats) and often care for them when they’re busy or out of town. I live in a home with a fenced in backyard and a big park just down the street. If you’re looking for boarding, i’m happy to set up a meet and greet to make sure your dog and my Boog are a great match. I also offer house sitting and will always treat your home and pets with the same respect I give my own. I currently work in office from 7am-4pm though I am available most weeknights and weekends with notice. Whether you need boarding, house sitting, drop ins, or walks, I your pup(s) will be in loving and reliable hands! Waldo Homes pet parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t possibly express how much my partner and I cherish Caroline’s time with our nervous dog, Oswald. The friendship she’s built with him is a truly unique experience that will forever change his impression of making new friends, and in turn, forever change Ozzy’s long-term quality of life. We were both uncertain of whether he would ever enjoy hanging out with a new person without his family present. With time and patience, he’s now excited to spend time with her. He doesn’t even glance back at us when we let him outside to see her anymore, just takes off running! He looks forward to every Monday with her. It has been inexplicably special to see Ozzy make his first ever all-by-himself friend. Caroline has completely blown us away in how she’s connected with our nervous boy. Our family is forever grateful for the impact she’s made on Ozzy!

Georgia did a meet and greet with us and our doggos before booking. She was kind and patient and asked pertinent questions. I felt safe and that our dogs were in very capable and caring hands with Georgia. The Rover app is so easy to use and the process was smooth.

Dalton is so accommodating with our changing busy lives. he's watched extra pets when we were dog sitting for family, he took my dog to the basement during a tornado siren, and has even picked up accidents in the house when we were training a new rescue. He is such a big help to our family and he treats our dogs so well.

Sarah was the best! I felt very comfortable knowing my cats were in good hands. She was very responsive and had clear communication with each visit. She went the extra mile to ensure the cats were fed, played with, taken care of, and received plenty of attention. I'd definitely recommend her to a friend and use her in the future!

Sarah was so wonderful to work with! She was able to accommodate us on a last minute request and our two cats looked forward to seeing her each day. She always sent plenty of photos, and even went the extra mile to move some packages into our apartment while we were gone. Would highly recommend her and would use her again!
