“This was our second sit with Jonas and for a longer stint. We received so many awesome pictures and updates that kept our minds completely at rest allowing us to enjoy our trip.”

“Heather was wonderful, my Husky pup seemed to feel very at ease with her and she understood him and his quirks very well. I also really appreciated all of the photos and updates she sent!”

“Thrilled to find Marcela the first time I used Rover. She sent great pictures of all three dogs who appeared to enjoy her company. I won’t hesitate to go away again knowing I have reliable pet care with Marcela in my home!”

“Avery was so kind and loving with our two setters. He was very quick to reply in communications in setting up the dog sitting. We were staying at a vacation rental property and felt secure that the pups were in caring hands for a few hours while we went out. Thanks Avery for helping make our vacation a great one!”

“Jeanelle took great care of our girl Gretchen while we were out of town for a few days. Very communicative with us and attentive to our pup. Highly recommend!”

“John was an awesome pupsitter and we would definitely hire him again! He was communicative, thorough, and very attentive to our 2 dogs over the course of the week that he watched them. Highly recommend him!”

“A last minute change of plans in the family led us to Rover.com and to Taryn. Our 5 year old rescue lab is skittish in the best of situations. From the meet and greet to the established trust relationship with our beloved Echo and the family, we were confident that we could travel and know she would be safe and attended to. We couldn't have been more pleased! We received updates and photos regularly and Echo appeared content and comfortable in all of her situations. We'll ask Taryn again for sure. It's comforting to know that she is nearby and accessible if and when we need her!”

About: I am a huge pet lover, that includes allll pets! I have had many animals in my past and many of my friends and family have relied on me to watch there pets, mostly dogs and cats, for years. I have experience dealing with giving medications, pets of all ages, and different routines. I really enjoy spending time with animals so it never feels like a job for me! I’m a senior in high school and i work as a CNA which sees like a full schedule but i only take 2 classes so my school days are about two hours long and I work pre-diem as a CNA so i pick how may shifts i want to work and when i want to work them, so i can sceduale around petsitting! Once summer comes around im basically completely free! I keep a very safe, clean, and calm environment. I have my own apartment to myself with no other pets and I have a nice backyard not near the road. Pets are welcome on furniture and beds and i love cuddling! I’m a very active person so i like to go out and do things or go for walks and runs, i’d love to have a partner!
“Lauren was an amazing and took very good care of our dog and home. We had a heck of a time coming home from vacation because our flights were delayed for 3 days due to almost 2 feet of snow and extremely cold temperatures that rolled in the night before we were due to fly home. She was so kind, so understanding. The one and only thing we were not worried about was Teddy and our home. I cannot say enough about how comfortable we were having Lauren here. Probably one of the only vacations i have been on in YEARS that i did not worry about my baby and that is huge ! 10 stars from me... Thank you, Lauren.”

“Cleo appreciated all the love and attention and I appreciated how dedicated Beth was (making sure Cleo had her meds on time as well as lots of love while I was away). She was super flexible when my plans changed and went above and beyond to look out for Cleo.”

“Daniel stayed at our home for 4 days and took excellent care of our girl Chloe and the house itself. His relaxed nature is perfect for our dog and he was extremely conscientious, checking in with us now and then to let us know that things were going well and leaving our dog happy and our home in excellent condition. His communication was prompt and clear. Definitely a 5 star experience.”

About: I spent the first 18 years of my life growing up on a farm, caring for and training many animals, including multiple breeds of dogs. For the past ten years, I’ve owned several pups in the city and have cared for friend's and neighbor's dogs and cats on long and short-term stints. I currently am self employed from home and have a very flexible schedule to care for a variety of different dogs needs. I can move my schedule around easily to accommodate any situation. I truly love spending time with animals and believe pets feel happiest when they can stay in their own home and routine. When I care for pets, I focus on giving them plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while following their normal schedule for meals, walks, and any medications or special care they need. I also treat your home with a lot of respect and keep everything clean and organized while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved so you can travel knowing they’re in good hands. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so you can see how they’re doing.
“Leea stayed at our house with our dog and parakeets. She took good care of them and of the house, and she sent us pictures to keep us posted. We hope to work with her again in the future. Thanks, Leea!”

About: I have been doing pet care for over 5 years now in the Southern Maine area! I have a bunch of different references. I have cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, even ferrets! I love them all! I’m currently in school online so my availability is very open! I can do anytime of the day if it’s just walking or I can do overnight care as well! I treat every pet as if they’re my own. If you also have a set routine, I will try my best to keep that for them!
“Our cat and dog were in trusted hands with Tyler during a weekend house sitting! Lots of outdoor play time and walks for the dog and great care of our kitty and all her needs! Thanks a bunch Tyler!”

About: I have been caring for animals (from dogs to mini horses!) professionally for over 8 years. I use other dog walking apps, and have loved exploring cities through each dog's unique route. I have a lot of patience and experience with shy pups, and I'm the only one my sister will trust to watch her cat, Eleanor. I understand that sometimes it can be stressful for both pet and parent to be separated and I approach every new interaction with patience first. Currently, I am a full-time master's student, and I share a car with my partner. This can sometimes make scheduling difficult, but my goal is to work with you efficiently to meet your needs. Being around animals gives me so much joy, and until I can have my own one day, I will treat your pet like one of the family. I appreciate you considering my profile and hope to create a great experience for you and your pet! As long as I know far enough in advance I can work around your schedule. I work fully remote in Portland, ME and can adjust to your pet’s schedule however my partner and I share a car so I am not always available to pickup or for last minute requests. I will always do my best! My approach to care is about reading the animals behavior and energy levels. I believe that being calm and confident with any dog and you can lead them to be successful.
