She lovingly cared for our 17-year-old quirky cat and rolled with a last-minute unanticipated need to feed her daily pills. She sent wonderful photos and detailed updates every day. She did everything we asked and more; for example, watering a plant that she noticed was drooping and organizing our mail and boxes into neat piles. Maine is a "dog state," and we have a beloved dog ourselves, but it is harder to find someone who vibes with beloved cats, especially needier old ones. Tova was just the right purr-son!”

About: I’ve been raised around pets for my entire life! My dad is a vet, so animal care is in my blood. I try to create a bond with the pets I care for so I can meet their individual needs. I’m comfortable handling dogs and cats with a wide variety of needs (behavioral, medical, etc) and gets lots of experience doing so while volunteering at the humane society and raising my own pup and kitty. I’m happy to work with you on any specific goals — training, socialization, easing your pets anxiety while you’re gone — and will do my best to care for your pet the same way you would. I can guarantee I’ll give your fur baby lots of love and care! I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I’m available for whatever your pet needs! Early mornings, mid-day walks, or late nights all work for me. I have a one year old labradoodle who absolutely loves play time and will be happy to tire your pup out for you! I am happy to care for your pet however you’d like me to and will try to mirror your routine to make your time away as easy for your pet as possible

About: I would describe myself as lover of all animals and have had many pets while growing up (including Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Fish, and Hamsters). I currently have a dog and 2 cats and they are a big part of my life. I have a lot of experience in Pet Care, including caring for my own animals as well as caring for the pets of family and friends while they are away, as well as volunteering at animal shelters over the years. I take daily walks and love to bring my furry friends along with me. I work part time from Thursday through Saturday but would love to fill up the remaining days of the week taking care of your dog(s), cat(s) or even rabbits, birds, rodents, and other small pets! I will be taking care of your animal at your home according to the guidelines you provide regarding your pets normal routine. Each day, I will provide 2-3 hours of personal attention, inluding prepping meals, lots of love and attention, playing fetch or with chew/tug toys, long walks (for dogs) in the local area or even at other locations if they have a special or favorite path or park they enjoy. I can also administer medications or provide special treats; I can also reinforce and practice basic dog obedience training such as basic commands like "sit", "paw", "lie down", etc. (I'm not a certified dog trainer) if you are working with your dog on those skills. Cats love to cuddle with me and will get as much petting and playing with cat toys as they wish!
