“Mel took excellent care of our kitty while we were away. He can be a bit much to get along with, but relaxed with Mel right away, and was as content as could be when we arrived home. I highly recommend Mel.”

“Caroline is awesome! She just "gets" dogs and has an innate ability to connect with them. Our German Shepherd is not aggressive but has a clear idea of how he thinks the world should be. Caroline has done a great job building a relationship with him. She is conscientious, reliable, and a pleasure to work with.”

“Super reliable. Goes above and beyond what I expected from a rover sitter. Took lots of great picture of the dogs on thier walk. Would recommend and will hire again.”

“Haleigh is amazing! This is the second time we used her to check on our kitties and she was just as amazing and reliable as the first time! We will definitely be using her again. It is clear the cats are well cared for and I always appreciate her updates, photos and clear communication! She definitely goes above and beyond every time!”

“Craig and Chelsea were more than helpful when I asked them to stop in and let my dogs out on the Fourth of July. They helped me with my last minute plans and even sent me adorable picture of my two pups. Thanks again!”
About: I've taken care of dogs since age nine. I have gained experience working with multiple dog breeds through various volunteer and employment opportunities. I spent 10 plus years volunteering at various local dog rescues, assisted with managing the care of fourteen huskies on a local sled dog ranch, and have experience training service dogs through four different organizations. I am currently in a college program for a B.S in Animal Care and Behavior through Husson University, as well as a online certificate program to become a dog trainer. I love socializing puppies and helping them learn better manners. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and hikes. I can provide your dog with a safe and loving environment and make sure they have the best positive experiences. Through my previous animal experiences, I can cater to dogs and cats with specialized diets, and provide medical care as needed. I also have knowledge working with dogs with dog reactivity and mobility issues. I'm currently a part time student, and have a few other volunteer commitments, but I DO have time to give your furry friends some love and attention. I have a two acre yard, but at the moment it is unfenced. I am working on building a large dog play pen, but at the moment provide a safe monitored outside time with the use of an indestructible long line. I live by the ocean and have beach access, as well as many local hiking trails! The only other dog in the household is my thirteen year old black lab. She does great with other dogs, however I can provide your pup with his/her separate quiet space.

“Brooke was terrific! She sent us plenty of photos, kept us up-to-date on our diabetic cat and was very comfortable calling or texting with questions (since we hadn't provided all of the answers). She was on time and extremely caring. We'll definitely be hiring her again.”

“Abby did a fantastic job taking care of my fur babies! I have a couple of very shy cats and she kept in contact with me to let me know they were okay. I would happily book Abby again the next time I need a sitter.”

“Tova is the best cat/house sitter ever! So attentive to detail, conscientious, thoughtful and sweet. She lovingly cared for our 17-year-old quirky cat and rolled with a last-minute unanticipated need to feed her daily pills. She sent wonderful photos and detailed updates every day. She did everything we asked and more; for example, watering a plant that she noticed was drooping and organizing our mail and boxes into neat piles. Maine is a "dog state," and we have a beloved dog ourselves, but it is harder to find someone who vibes with beloved cats, especially needier old ones. Tova was just the right purr-son!”

“Natalie was friendly and super responsive in our communications. This being our first time using Rover, Natalie was nice enough to come and meet us and our pup before we confirmed her for a drop-in visit. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Always so great with our animals. Lots of glamor pics and always makes sure our dogs have a walk as long as it is weather appropriate. Can not thank her enough for coming through.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been enjoying having cats in my home since high school. I’m a responsible young adult who genuinely loves animals and would be happy to care for yours with the same love and respect I give my own and my family’s pets. I have experience caring for pets in their homes for stays ranging from long weekends to two weeks, ensuring their needs are met while keeping them comfortable in their familiar environment. I am currently working to build my own interior design and decorating business and will have the flexibility I need to care for your pet. If at my home, we will take at minimum 2 walks a day to enjoy fresh air and get movement and enrichment in as I don't have a yard. I do live close to the Androscoggin dog park, which I would utilize as well. In your space we will walk, and spend time outside to expend energy and get enrichment.
“Jenna was totally reliable even when a foot of snow dumped on Brunswick. My cats were obviously well-taken care of but happy to see their cat-mom again. Whole-heartedly recommend Jenna - very pleasant and obviously caring.”

“We just recently booked Anna to come check in on our dogs at home once a week, and the first visit went really well! When we got home, the dogs were happy and sleepy after having some mid-afternoon playtime. It’s hard to leave them alone all day, and I’m so glad that Anna can step in and give them some love and attention, which is what both of our dogs love the most. She did a fantastic job, and I know the dogs will be thrilled to see her again soon!”

About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.
