“Caroline did a wonderful job at looking after my cats while I was on vacation. I was nervous to book a pet sitter since I never have before but Caroline made the process super easy. I loved receiving updates and pictures that she took during her visits. I would definitely book with her again and recommend her to anyone needing a pet sitter.”

“Abby did a fantastic job taking care of my fur babies! I have a couple of very shy cats and she kept in contact with me to let me know they were okay. I would happily book Abby again the next time I need a sitter.”

“Robin has been so great to work with. She is quick to respond to messages, and confirm details. She was amazing with our dogs, making sure to give our high energy pup lots of time to run around. Both dogs were tired out when we got home, they clearly had a good time with Robin and enjoyed being out in the yard for the time she was visiting. The reports and photos were so nice to receive. We will definitely be contacting Robin again!”

“Mel took excellent care of our kitty while we were away. He can be a bit much to get along with, but relaxed with Mel right away, and was as content as could be when we arrived home. I highly recommend Mel.”

“Jenna was totally reliable even when a foot of snow dumped on Brunswick. My cats were obviously well-taken care of but happy to see their cat-mom again. Whole-heartedly recommend Jenna - very pleasant and obviously caring.”

“Brandon took fantastic care of my poodle, Saturn! He was reliable, attentive, and clearly great with dogs. Saturn loved spending time with him, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated the care and attention he gave, and I would absolutely hire Brandon again. Highly recommend!”

“We’ve had Maricela watch our cats a number of times now and always feel confident that they will be well looked after. She always makes sure to keep us updated and sends lots of great pictures. We are very thankful for the great care she takes with our pets!”

“Brooke was wonderful to work with. We needed someone last minute while on vacation and she was able to quickly accommodate us and our four dogs. She was kind enough to call and FaceTime first to put us at ease. She communicated well throughout the day and sent pictures. Thanks for everything!”

“Craig and Chelsea were more than helpful when I asked them to stop in and let my dogs out on the Fourth of July. They helped me with my last minute plans and even sent me adorable picture of my two pups. Thanks again!”

About: Hi everyone! My name is Emma and I am 18 years old headed into college this fall! I have had dogs since I was little. Now being 18, that means it’s been a little while 😆. I have dog sat for friends and family many many times before. Ranging from as little as just overnight, up to about 2 weeks! I love to sit and hang out with them, throw the ball back and forth, and of course give them lots of treats and snuggles! I completely get that leaving your dog with a stranger is a nerve wracking thing to have to do! Having done it with my own dogs, my goal is to give your animal care that brings you, and of course them, lots of comfort. As well as making sure it’s a relaxing experience for both parties! I’ve worked with dogs many age ranges. I’ve had a dog who was 6 and in her prime years, but i’ve also had a puppy we got when she was 6wks! I have experience with elderly dogs who need medications, special care instructions, and just help getting around. I am currently working a part time job at a daycare. My weekends and afternoons are completely free though! I only work about 6-8 hours a day and am always home doing school work, or just spending time with animals of my own! My dog loves to throw the ball around and run after it. We don’t have a big yard so we throw it inside for her and she runs back and forth with it! She is also crate trained so she knows when it’s time to go to bed and puts herself right to sleep! I have had a dog in the past that did not use a crate and she was an angel! Both animals i have had loved to run outdoors and go for walks and always did well on leash. My cats have always been pretty laid back, getting rid of most of their energy outside exploring! Both cats I have had loved to eat, so it was always a regular routine to check their bowls to make sure there was no bare spots anytime you walk by! They’ve always loved to sit and snuggle and get lots of pets when i get home in the afternoons.

I pride myself on being reliable, communicative, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered!) family members! As a pet owner myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your animals in someone else’s care. I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I understand the importance of routine, patience, and lots of love. 🐾 I work full time, so I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. I’m active with my own pup, so your dog can happily join us for walks, playtime, or adventures on the trails! In my home, pets are treated like family. About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and have been relied on to walk, feed, and take care of them since I was very young. I have experience caring for pets of all ages! I am a currently a college student, but have lunch breaks everyday! I also get done with class around 3:30 and have the rest of the day to care for your pets! I love going on walks with dogs, playing with them, and of course, belly rubs! Love giving pets the love and attention that they deserve!
“We were very happy with Kaylee's care. The daily updates she provided were appreciated and most of all the dogs were happy to see her come for visits. We definitely plan to ask her again when we go away.”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and have been enjoying having cats in my home since high school. I’m a responsible young adult who genuinely loves animals and would be happy to care for yours with the same love and respect I give my own and my family’s pets. I have experience caring for pets in their homes for stays ranging from long weekends to two weeks, ensuring their needs are met while keeping them comfortable in their familiar environment. I am currently working to build my own interior design and decorating business and will have the flexibility I need to care for your pet. If at my home, we will take at minimum 2 walks a day to enjoy fresh air and get movement and enrichment in as I don't have a yard. I do live close to the Androscoggin dog park, which I would utilize as well. In your space we will walk, and spend time outside to expend energy and get enrichment.
“Haleigh is amazing! This is the second time we used her to check on our kitties and she was just as amazing and reliable as the first time! We will definitely be using her again. It is clear the cats are well cared for and I always appreciate her updates, photos and clear communication! She definitely goes above and beyond every time!”

About: I have had pets my entire life—from dogs, to cats, to even hermit crabs. I am a huge animal lover through & through. I have taken care of a wide range of pets, too! From pet sitting for 5 poodles at once, to feeding a guinea pig for my neighbors, I love it all. Animals truly are a gift, and I love all! Pet care is essential to my life, as I have many pets of my own (dogs, cats, and chickens!) for me, it’s apart of every day life. The most important thing when caring for a pet is priority. Making sure one’s pet is safe, happy, fed, and clean is essential. In my own home, I make sure my pets have eaten before I do. I prioritize playing time and exercise with them, as their health is so important. I will do the exact same for your pet/pets.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Pennellville
Danielle is timely, provides great communication, and is great with my cats. She was even able to approach my very fearful cat on her second visit and give him a little chin rub. Both times Danielle has taken care of our cats, they’ve acted like it was no big deal that we were gone, when we returned. That’s the best.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pennellville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
