Safety, trust & environment
I prioritize making my visits fun for your pets. If that's for a walk, I let the dog pick the pace with plenty of sniffing and engaging with their world. I also love playing some training games to work on leash manners or just to let them use their nose to find some snacks. If that's for a drop-in visit, I love a game of fetch, a quick training session, or just some cuddles depending on what works well for you and your dogs. I have a dog who has both some dietary restrictions and medications so I understand the importance of following your instructions to make sure your pet is healthy and happy.
Information Caroline H. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog has any reactivity (just so I can prepare). Also if there are any dietary restrictions or exercise restrictions.
A typical day
I have lived with working dogs for the past ten years so I have a big bag of tricks! I love playing sniffing games (hidden treats in a room or toy), teaching new tricks (requests welcome), or working on some fun house manners (not bolting out of the door, going to your bed when asked, etc.). I also just love a good game of fetch or tug in the backyard or a little sniffari around the neighborhood.

Kind, passionate, and capable
Pet care experience
Nothing brings me more joy than making sure that animals are happy and well-cared for! I have plenty of tools to help make your pets feel safe and happy after some fun games, training, or a relaxed walk. Some of my skills include: - Extensive training experience. I currently share my life with two working border collies. Both of them are incredible trick, obedience, tracking, and agility dogs. I LOVE training both puppies and adult dogs. - Familiarity with nervous and reactive dogs. As the owner of a nervous dog, I know how hard it can be to find a good fit for anxious pups. I take time to listen to your dog and try to make their experience as low stress as possible. - Tons of enrichment knowledge. I love finding ways to make my visits with your animals fun! I love to play treat hiding games, work on a fun, new training skill, or just let them sniff to their hearts content. - Great communication. I will make sure you know when I arrive to your pet as well as when we are back home safely. I take plenty of photos and always take notes so you can see what your pet was up to.
Reviews

Great dog walker!

She is the best! We are border collie parents and she really understands high energy dogs. Very glad we found her :)

Caroline took great care of Finnegan!

I just realized that I have never reviewed Caroline. She is the best. We've been working with her for a couple years now. She really understands dogs and gets our funny pup and all his quirks. With her background in agility and other experiences she also understands training and working with different personalities. Great communicator as well. We are so grateful for her time and work with our pup.
