“Natalie took such great care of my beloved housecat, the little traitor didn't even want to come home! Thanks for keeping him safe, socialized, entertained, and happy. Highly recommend for anyone with a socially needy cat.”

“Finding someone that you can trust that will care for and love your fur baby as you do can be challenging. We were able to find someone and more in Robin. From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. We can't recommend Robin enough and we will definitely be using again!”

“As a first-time Rover user, Cindy made me feel very comfortable leaving our girls in her care! They were fully tuckered out by the end of their 6-day stay, clearly loving playing with all the other doggo friends & we enjoyed fun photo/video updates throughout. I highly recommend & will book again, thank you Cindy! 5️⃣⭐️✨”

“Breanna was a great host for our lab Bailey while my family and I were out of town for a week. We received regular updates on how Bailey was doing throughout the week, with images that highlighted that my dog was having a great time. I will rebook with Breanna again, and would recommend her without any reservations.”

“Hannah was so great with Scout! Scout was a little nervous being in a new setting, but it was very clear how much Hannah went out of her way to make her feel more comfortable!”

“Louise is so happy getting out of the car at Elisabeth’s. She is so well cared for and Elisabeth always sends updates of what she’s up to and how much fun she’s having. So grateful to Elisabeth and highly recommend her and her sweet dogs!!”

“They were so fabulous!!! Watched my girl Winnie on my wedding night. They picked her up, dropped her off and were super flexible on what was a crazy day. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“Simon was so nice and welcoming, and my dogs seemed very happy. I got a bunch of pictures showing me how comfortable and at home my dogs felt from the first moment. We will certainly call Simon when we are in the area again!”

“Claudia and Jason are truly amazing dog sitters. They took excellent care of our large Aussiedoodle , who never likes to be separated from me. They took him on many varied walks and on one of them even got him a pup ice cream, had cuddle time, time for play and rest. He returned home calm, confident and tired. I fully trust Claudia and Jason and am so grateful to them.”

About: I’ve always been around dogs and got my own dog 8 years ago. I have have always taken care of dogs in my neighborhood for long amount of time or for even just to feed or let out. I have a full time job Monday thru Thursday but I’m free on the weekends. I’m most likely will not be available for major holidays . I live in a new apartment building that has a small dog park. I usually take my dog on hikes or walks around the neighborhood.
“Kymberly and Robert always do such a great job with my Mala. Mala is 15 years old now and has stayed with them many times. She always knows when I pack her travel bag that she will get to vacation with them, and she gets so excited! Ours dogs are family, and it can be hard to leave them, but I never have any concerns whatever when I leave Mala with Kymberly and Robert. They are my trusted sitters!”
“Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our Hoku! We enjoyed lots of snuggles upon our return and she is now sleeping soundly —which tells me that she had a great time with Molly and doesn’t feel anxious or nervous about our absence!”
“Neil and Abby were great. Good communication and our dog was very happy there - lots of good play time with their dog Molly. Would definitely have Delta board with them again in the future!”

“Baxter had such a great stay with Anne, we love her. This was my first time boarding him, he's a nervous but very social young rescue. He had so much fun playing with Anne's dogs and was so comfortable with Anne. There is a beautiful yard and a very comfortable house they have the run of. I got lots of pictures and updates! We'll definitely be boarding here again!”

“I’m so happy we found Sergey at the last minute. My two dogs stayed with Sergey’s for six nights. They came home tired, happy, and clean. Sergey was extremely flexible with our timing when our travel was delayed. I would not hesitate to recommend Sergey as a pet sitter.”

“Elvis had an AWESOME time with Christine and I felt very comfortable leaving him with her. She frequently sent photos of him and he always looked comfortable and happy. I will definitely be bringing Elvis to Christine again!”

“Sridevi took wonderful care of my dog, Sasha. I had to book with her at the last minute because of a funeral and she could not have been more accommodating. Sasha was so content at her house in such a short period of time, I was very impressed. Sasha does not usually warm up to people so quickly, so I knew she was in good hands. 🐾”

“Caroline was so diligent and caring with updating me and sending me photos. She gave me full confidence in her and caring for my cat! Will definitely have her pet sit again.”

“Joanna took amazing care of our kitty boys while we were away for the weekend. She went above and beyond giving them lots of love and attention, play time, and even brought in our packages for us to keep them out of the rain. We felt so at ease knowing she would be there to take care of them! Even though it was her first time meeting them she instinctually knew how to care for them! Would absolutely hire again :)”

About: As a cat owner myself, I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level. Some cats love attention and playtime, while others prefer a quieter approach and need time to warm up to new people. I take the time to understand each cat's routine and respect their individual needs, helping them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I have hands-on experience caring for my own cat and know the importance of keeping feeding schedules consistent, maintaining a clean litter box, and providing plenty of affection and enrichment. I am patient, attentive, and detail-oriented, and I will treat your cat as if they were my own. My goal is to provide reliable care and give you peace of mind knowing your cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence.

About: As a cat owner myself, I understand that every cat has their own unique personality, routine, and comfort level. Whether your cat is social and playful or prefers a quiet companion, I’m happy to provide attentive, stress-free care while you’re away. I offer drop-in visits that include feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, enrichment, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection on your cat’s terms. I know how important consistency is for cats, and I strive to keep their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. You’ll receive regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your cat is safe, cared for, and getting lots of attention while you’re gone. My goal is to treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I look forward to meeting you and your feline family members! 🐾💕

About: Hello all! My name is Emma Farris and I am 18 years old and i’ll be heading to college this fall! I have had cats since I could remember. My first cat we got when I was around 5. He has just recently passed away, but he was my whole world. Since having him from a young age, that meant I got to experience all different levels of care. Young, ‘teen’, and elderly. He was an indoor/outdoor cat as well which meant he had a pretty good amount of energy! Leaving your child (cause let’s be honest they’re our children) can be a nerve wracking experience! Making sure they get fed, get their meds, etc. The whole time you’re away you’ll worry, it’s just how it goes! But i can assure you, your animal will be in the best possible hands! Your animal is now considered as one of my own for the whole duration of your vacation! 🐈⬛
“Mel took excellent care of our kitty while we were away. He can be a bit much to get along with, but relaxed with Mel right away, and was as content as could be when we arrived home. I highly recommend Mel.”

“Robin came to check on our older dog when a family emergency came up and my wife and I were out of town. She saved the day and was so friendly, and great following instructions!”
“Kourtney was an excellent sitter! We had to modify our reservation a couple of times, and she was incredibly flexible with us. She is a wonderful communicator and left thorough updates every day about our cats. She even went above and beyond by shoveling our front walkway after a heavy storm! On top of that, she’s a lovely person and made sure to say hi to us when we saw her at breakfast before our booking! We would absolutely rebook with Kourtney.”
“Jenna was totally reliable even when a foot of snow dumped on Brunswick. My cats were obviously well-taken care of but happy to see their cat-mom again. Whole-heartedly recommend Jenna - very pleasant and obviously caring.”

“Natalie is always so wonderful when she cares for our two cats. She is the only sitter we trust with our babies. We appreciate her responsiveness and willingness to be flexible when we sometimes need a sitter on short notice. And she gives great updates with photos!”

“Yesenia was wonderful with our dog. We used her for check ins. She made the time to come over prior for a meet and greet, and gave thorough updates (and asked appropriate questions) while we were away. It was our first time trying Rover and it went great. We would definitely work with her again.”

“Brooke was terrific! She sent us plenty of photos, kept us up-to-date on our diabetic cat and was very comfortable calling or texting with questions (since we hadn't provided all of the answers). She was on time and extremely caring. We'll definitely be hiring her again.”

“Brandon took fantastic care of my poodle, Saturn! He was reliable, attentive, and clearly great with dogs. Saturn loved spending time with him, which gave me a lot of peace of mind while I was away. I really appreciated the care and attention he gave, and I would absolutely hire Brandon again. Highly recommend!”

“Haleigh is amazing! This is the second time we used her to check on our kitties and she was just as amazing and reliable as the first time! We will definitely be using her again. It is clear the cats are well cared for and I always appreciate her updates, photos and clear communication! She definitely goes above and beyond every time!”

About: I've been an animal lover for as long as I can remember, and I'd love the chance to care for your pets like they're my own. I'm a Maine native who recently moved back home after spending the last four years traveling and working as a professional dancer on a cruise ship. Now that I'm settled in Southern Maine, I'm excited to spend more time with animals! I'm an active, reliable, and patient person, so whether your dog loves long walks, playing fetch, or just having someone to keep them company, I'm happy to match their energy. I also understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I'll always take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a pet owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member. I'll send plenty of photo updates, communicate throughout each visit, and make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve while you're away. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, overnight care, or just someone to give your pet extra love, I'd be honored to help. I can't wait to meet you and your best friend! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize walks, drop-in visits, and giving pets the attention they need throughout the day. I currently teach dance part-time and work remote during the day, but my schedule leaves plenty of time for pet care, and I love having animals as part of my everyday life. I’m an active person who enjoys getting outside, so walks, playtime, and keeping pets engaged are things I genuinely look forward to. I’m also someone who values consistency and routine, and I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I care for every pet with the same attention, patience, and love I would want for my own. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible—following feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I know pets feel most comfortable in their own environment, so I make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel connected and confident that your pet is being well taken care of. My goal is to make your time away stress-free, knowing your furry friend is receiving plenty of love, attention, and companionship.
About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. As a new dog parent, I know how difficult it can be to find reliable, affordable, overnight care - plus a place my pup will actually enjoy! I routinely pet-sit for friends, and joined Rover to continue expanding my dog's social circle (she *loves* other dogs) while earning supplementary income. My pup, Marcy, is a 1-year old blackmouth cur. She's a regular at the dog park and very well socialized across a range of doggy personalities. I have a safe, calm house with a fenced-in yard. I also work remotely, meaning your dog would have lots of attention and a watchful eye. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.
About: I am a reliable pet sitter with several years of animal care experience. I provide safe, attentive, and compassionate care for dogs, cats and other pets of all sizes and ages! I am patient and committed to maintaining your pet’s routine while you are away. I offer dog boarding, drop-in visits, and doggy daycare. I live in a country setting with a very large backyard that provides plenty of space for exercise, playtime, and potty breaks. I also have a beautiful walking trail and a 40 acre field directly off my backyard for dogs that love to run! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities! I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pet. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your pet care needs or to schedule a meet and greet! Since pet care is my full-time focus, I’m able to stay consistent with feeding times, potty breaks, and any special instructions. My schedule is built around the pets in my care, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and maintain each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and at home. I have three small, friendly Chihuahuas and a cat. They’re all well behaved and have always done well with other animals. If needed, I can easily keep them on a separate floor to make sure visiting pets feel comfortable and have their own space.

Katie was great i'm about community back and forth about anything that she may have had questions about or vice versa.

“Kelly was wonderful with our dog Jimmy! She took him to the lake, and he had an absolute blast playing there. She kept us updated throughout the weekend, sending us updates with pictures and videos. He probably didn’t want to come home! We’ll definitely book Kelly again.”

“Our dog has boarded with Heidi and each time he is more excited to go! This last time he wasn’t sure if he should come with us or stay with Heidi!! Heidi has a great space inside her home as well as a large fenced playground for the dogs! She is very knowledgeable and so kind! She is our go-to!!”
