Cat Sitting in South Freeport

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats my whole life—growing up in a pet-loving home taught me how to care for animals with love and patience. I’ve also volunteered at the humane society, where I gained hands-on experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. Over the years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and coworkers, providing everything from walks to overnight care. I truly treat every pet like they’re my own. I work a sales job Monday–Friday, typically from 8:00 AM to around 4:30 PM, and I travel locally (within an hour). I always make sure I’m available before accepting any bookings, so your pet’s care will never be compromised. I’m available for evening walks during the week, and I’m open to overnight house sitting on both weekdays and weekends. I’m very aware of my surroundings and always prioritize your pet’s safety, whether we’re out walking or relaxing at home. I’m great at reading animals’ energy and body language, which helps me respond calmly and confidently in any situation. I follow any instructions carefully and always make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable.

She is a wonderful communicator and left thorough updates every day about our cats. She even went above and beyond by shoveling our front walkway after a heavy storm! On top of that, she’s a lovely person and made sure to say hi to us when we saw her at breakfast before our booking! We would absolutely rebook with Kourtney.”

About: Hi! I’m Katie — a designer at Bath Iron Works and proud new puppy mom to Moonie. I’ve always lived with cats and dogs since I was a kid! I’m looking to help fellow dog owners with walks, playtime, and care while giving my girl a chance to socialize. Your pup must be friendly with other dogs, and I work best with small to medium breeds. For overnights, keep in mind we have two cats in the house — they’re pros at keeping their distance, but your pup should be cat-tolerant. I love being outdoors and am eager to hit the fields, trails, and even a few mountains. If your dog would enjoy an afternoon adventure or a weekend overnight with plenty of love and activity, give me a holler! I work full time, so I’m available in the afternoons, evenings, and some weekends. I’m active with my own pup, so your dog can happily join us for walks, playtime, or adventures on the trails! She lovingly cared for our 17-year-old quirky cat and rolled with a last-minute unanticipated need to feed her daily pills. She sent wonderful photos and detailed updates every day. She did everything we asked and more; for example, watering a plant that she noticed was drooping and organizing our mail and boxes into neat piles. Maine is a "dog state," and we have a beloved dog ourselves, but it is harder to find someone who vibes with beloved cats, especially needier old ones. Tova was just the right purr-son!”

About: I frequently petsit my friend dogs and cats when they are out of town. I grew up with dogs and really miss having one at home. I work full time, but my hours are a bit flexible.
