About: I have been working with dozens of pet parents to provide specialized care over their pets’ lifespans. Services include pet sitting, house sitting, feeds and medication, and dog walks. I work a very flexible job, so all I ask is that we coordinate care with 3 to 5 days notice. We will make it work! As someone with cats of their own, I offer services based in client’s homes only, for the safety and comfortability of my pets and your pets.
About: I frequently petsit my friend dogs and cats when they are out of town. I grew up with dogs and really miss having one at home. I work full time and I would be a great fit if your critter is ok with being left alone while I work for about 8 hours. I am a house wife at the moment and not working and it gives me flexibility to provide my services . I can do visits after school run( after 8am ) , afternoons ( 12- 3) and evenings ( 5-7 or 8) . I will be providing cat sitting at your house. My cats need fresh food , water and unlimited cuddles everyday . I clean the litter box every 24 hours . Make sure they are safe. About: Hi! My name is Cara and I am so excited to meet you and your fur baby/babies! A lifelong animal lover, I am looking to keep pursuing my passion. I have worked directly with dogs on all sides of the behavior spectrum both in one-on-one and playgroup settings. Currently, I volunteer at my local shelter and work in a dog daycare setting part-time. I am happy to provide references and answer any questions. I look forward to working together! I assess each booking on an individual basis. I do have some word-of-mouth clients outside of Rover and scheduling goes the same way for them, too. If I have an opening, the first requestor is given the slot. About: I have had a deep love for animals since I was a young child. Growing up I have always had at least one pet in my house, but when I was 7 I started actively taking care of them, which only increased my adoration for them. Whenever I am with animals I treat them with the philosophy that they give us nothing but love, and it is up to us to make sure they get that unconditional love back. I have watched dogs who were sick and required attentive and medicinal care, and I also have watched a dog and her newborn puppies. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
