About: I have had dogs all of my life and love to spoil them! I have several dog beds and plenty of toys to play with. I allow dogs on my couch and beds. My home is air conditioned in the summer. I look forward to meeting you and your dog. I am home during the day; therefore, I have the ability to care for doggos and ensure they have plenty of playtime and potty breaks throughout the day. My house sits far back from the road and is almost completely wooded front and back. I have 1+ acres of land with a 400 sq ft fenced in play area they can access as they wish during the day. I can also take them out on a lead or leash. I spray my property for ticks every 3 months Mar-Nov.
About: Growing up I’ve had pets ranging from dogs to reptiles. Spending time and taking care of them was never a job but a passion. From volunteering at animal shelters at a young age to pet sitting for friends and family, I continue to express my love and care for animals. I also have a 16 year old Portuguese Water Dog at home and she is my world! I currently work full time from 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri. About: Longtime dog lover and owner, current parent of a 9-year-old Siberian Husky service dog whom I trained to myself. I love dogs of all sizes and shapes and personalities and I can't wait to meet all the wonderful furkids that I'll be looking after in the future. I'm always telling people "I may have trouble remembering your name, but I will always remember your pet's name." Though I am small in stature I'm actually quite strong and can handle large/muscular dogs (and the occasional feral cat when necessary), because I just know how to move with them/guide them. I'm also not intimidated by aggressive behavior in animals, nor do I meet it with aggression in return. I always try to calm the animal and figure out the issue, putting myself between them and anyone/anything that might upset them further. I have a personality/presence that dogs seem to love, from the timid to the social, the calm to the active. I'm a fast walker, so your dog will certainly get a workout they'll love as they keep pace with me, but I can also meander when needed for the older dogs and fumbling puppies. I have experience doing basic grooming for dogs: bathing, brushing, shaving away mats, clipping nails, trimming the fur between pawpads, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears. I do not have experience doing "style" cuts for dogs. I know snake pet care as well, so feel free to inquire if you need someone to look after your danger noodle! Pet care is my primary work focus right now as I work through completing my online schooling towards getting my degree and Vet Tech licence. I have a backyard for your dog to play in alongside my very friendly Husky. It's not fenced in, but I keep a spare long-lead on-hand, same kind as I use for my girl, for guest dogs. If your dog is an especially strong one please let me know and I'll make sure to have an lead appropriate for your dogs weight strength available. Inside the house is dog-friendly and spacious, and I can crate your dog if needed. My dog is allowed on the couch and my bed, so do let me know if those are no-go areas for your dog. If your cat likes outside time I can provide walks and/or put them out in the backyard on the spare long-lead.

About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.

About: I’ve been talking care of all types of dogs since I was 10. Started small with just family and around the neighborhood but as I got older I’ve had many people ask for me to pet sit or just bring their dog for a walk. Give their animal some love! I’m currently working a part time job and enrolled in college for nursing so college breaks and holidays work best for me. Although, come summer I will be able to have more flexibility due to not being away at college. Always wanting to get exercise and play with animals so if walking your dog or checking in is what you need then I’m the perfect person for that. I have an invisible fence that my puppy Lola uses. She is super friendly but very vocal. I’m in a safe neighborhood where animals are well loved. My backyard is huge with lots of space to run and a great pool that my dog loves to swim in. If we are at your home then I will make sure I am aware of the surroundings before so I can best accommodate for the safety of both myself and the animals.

“Mariah, Kyle and family took good care of our 10 yr. old Portuguese Water Dog during our week long family vacation. They treated him like he was part of the family and he enjoyed being around their dog and another one they were also boarding. Having a fenced in yard was perfect for playing and getting exercise. They were easy to communicate with and wonderful about giving regular updates and sending photos.”

“I have never had such a positive experience. My pup was unfortunately sick during the majority of his stay with Heidi and I was unable to pick him up. Fortunately for us, he was in the best hands possible. Not only did she keep us informed constantly and ask for our opinion on how to take care of him best, but she even went out of her way to feed him a special diet that would best suit his sick tummy. I can’t recommend Heidi enough with your pets.”
“Vicky was the best I could’ve hoped for. My dog was excited arriving into her home, and that’s not like her, she’s normally pretty nervous. Daphne was thrilled, and the photos and videos that followed showed that she was living the good life! Chillaxing and running=her happy life. “Natalie went out of her way to make Brutus feel at home. I was very impressed from the start, she talked with us and let our pup feel out the area while we confirmed specific details regarding Brutus which was such a comfort. He's a big cuddle bug and we gave her some of his favorite treats and she sent pictures of him enjoying them. When we picked up Brutus a couple days later he was exactly himself and did not have any decrease in appetite which we've experienced before. I will definitely be using Natalie as a pet sitter in the future, and cannot express how thankful I am for the care she provided.”
