From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat who was much more than a pet—because I didn’t have any brothers or sisters, she was my best friend and constant companion. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! “I'm very attached to my chickens and I was nervous about finding good care for them while I went away for nine days. Someone suggested I check out Rover and I'm glad that I did! Christine was communicative and asked to visit once ahead of time to acclimate herself to my routine with my flock. She took notes and I appreciated her taking the time to know where everything was and her willingness to try to stick to the routine that my birds know and expect. I have a camera that overlooks my backyard. It's there to watch for raccoons or coyotes, etc. I pointed it out to Christine when she came that first day and then she likely forgot about it. I'd get alerts on my phone on the other side of the country, telling me someone was in the yard and that's how I know Christine was always there every morning and evening. I could hear her greeting my girls and chatting with my chicks. She would text here & there as I asked her to, giving me updates and sharing any concerns. When I got home, I could see that my flock had been well cared for and my chicks and pullets had grown! Christine did a wonderful job taking care of my animals while I was away and I'm hoping she'll be available to care for them in the future. I couldn't have asked for more. : )”

“Already booked follow up walks! We had reached out to a few people to see about getting Brinkley a regular Saturday walker. One of my top choices messaged back and said she was out of town for a couple weeks but Riley was staying at her place and could pick up the ones until she is back. Riley came by and hung out with us and Brinkley for 20-minutes before the walk! He is a shy boy who takes some time to warm up and she was so great with him. It was crazy cold that day and Riley had zero hesitation -- and she was engaged every second... even longer than she needed to! We've had a couple of bad walker experiences as of late (either ignoring our one non-negotiable rule which almost ended in tragedy or taking him to the park and sitting with him for long periods of time, so he didn't get any exercise), so Riley was a breath of fresh air! Brinkley did very well with her and came back as a tuckered out, super cuddly pup. Couldn't ask for anything more! I've already confirmed Riley for walks for the rest of the time she's in town.”

About: I currently live in Falmouth and am looking to fill my schedule a bit more doing something I love! I've been a huge dog-person since I was young and have dog-sat for dozens of pups over the years! I've done walks, helped with training, overnight-sitting, etc. From puppies to senior dogs, I'm experienced with different breeds so really have no preference to what size or aged dog I will be caring for! About: Hi! We’re Natalie and Tim, and we have both had dogs our entire lives. Natalie worked at a Humane Society in college, and Tim fostered dogs (and was a “failed foster” parent) for many years before we moved to Maine with our two doggies, Penny & Willa. We spend lots of time taking our dogs and dogs who we sit for to local nature trails in Cumberland or enjoying fetch with the Chuck-It in our large backyard. Our home is kid-free, and we will treat your pups like our own! Tim works from home, and Natalie is a full-time graduate student with a flexible schedule. Your dogs will be home with either or both of us for the majority, if not the entire time! We have a large yard (1.5 acres) on a quiet street in a very dog-friendly neighborhood. Although our yard is not physically fenced, we do have an electric fence that could work for your dog if they are trained on this at your home! We are happy to crate your dogs - we’re even happy to have them in our bedroom and on the couch if they prefer!

Vicky even brought Shorty to work with her at the pet hospital where she works & I know he loved that. Travis, Bobby's brother was also really great & Shorty warmed up to him right away. Shorty is used to sleeping on the bed & they allowed that, and also figured out something yummy for him to eat when he wouldn't. I am currently doing Rover full-time. For many years i have lived in homes with pets and helped care for them. Currently living in a home with 1 cat, 1 dog, and 12 chickens. We also do doggy day care and do boarding- so we keep pretty busy. I always walk dogs on their leashes. I make sure to keep medications and other harmful things locked away. We have a fenced in yard, but i’m always out there with them. I try to take as good care for your animals as if they were my own.
