1 star. Emma parked at the top of my driveway directly near my dog’s fenced area before I had the opportunity to come outside and introduce my dog. Within less than 30 seconds of barking, before I could even get out the door to see what was going on, she had already approached the fence area and then later came up to me visibly upset claiming that my dog had nipped her hand. This was after she walked up and shook my hand… Dogs are territorial animals by nature, especially on their own property and inside fenced areas. An experienced dog sitter should understand not to place their hands near, through, or over a fence before the owner has properly introduced the dog. What made the situation worse was the communication afterward. Rather than handling the situation calmly and collaboratively, the interaction quickly turned into demands and threats involving animal control. The overall communication demonstrated a lack of empathy and professionalism, especially from someone advertising themselves as an animal lover and experienced pet sitter. For anyone considering hiring this sitter, I would strongly recommend making sure introductions are handled carefully and that proper boundaries around fenced dogs are respected.

Emma did a fantastic job caring for our two older cats. She did everything we asked, left the areas where the care was provided clean, and we were grateful for the check-in pictures and updates. We were relieved to know that we can go away and not have to worry about our furry family members. We definitely recommend her services, and would have no reservations of using her in the future.

EmmaR was a great pet sitter!! She took great care of our dogs and had them running and playing and cozying up to her, inside and out!! She did great with all instructions and did well with our dogs and family! Thanks so much EmmaR. (This was the second review I wrote, not sure if the first one went through). (Rover doesn’t have the most user friendly website). EmmaR was great though!!!

I'm currently a student at Northeastern University in Boston. I maintain an up-to-date Rover calendar and only accept bookings when I know I can provide reliable, attentive care. If my calendar shows that I'm available, you can count on me to be there for your pet! I'm happy to accommodate weekday and weekend schedules whenever possible.

I’ve trained my current dogs to leash walk and take them to the park off-leash whenever we go. They are both crate trained as well.

I love stimulating dog’s both mentally and physically so I’ll spend time both playing hard outside and getting them to think with puzzle toys and other fun games.
