But, to my delight, Chloe was calm and even allowed Natalie to touch her, which was a huge step. Throughout my time away, Natalie was quick to respond to my check-ins, sending pictures of Chloe happily interacting with her children and another dog. From the moment we started taking to the meet and greet to leaving Remy with her for a few days was fantastic. Her communication was excellent and fast right from the beginning. We weren't gone long before she was already sending pictures which is something we said we would take any time.. throughout our few days away we received many updates and pictures and from the pictures we could see that Remy was very happy and being cared and loved just as we do. Robin's compassion to take care of and spend time with animals is very clear. Remy even seemed a little sad after we picked him up and brought him home like he missed her and her fun dog Stella. About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.

About: I’ve had dogs growing up from puppies to seniors. I walked and took care of neighbors dogs too! I love to spend time with dogs! Right now, Im currently unemployed. I have a lot of free time to take care of your babies! Only the best care will be provided! I do have two friendly cats who stay inside. I will listen to the pet parents instructions and make sure your pet is cared for and safe.
About: I've been a small animal veterinary technician for more than 10 years. My specialty is senior care, including managing cats or dogs with diabetes or kidney disease. I previously had a cat-sitting business when I worked at The Cat Practice in New York City in the mid 1990s. Here in Maine, I have had occasional pet sitting jobs. I am also an experienced horse owner. I am currently working part-time, and can easily fit in visits to your furry friends. I am based out of Gray and will travel within 30-45 minutes of my home. I can also provide over-night care as well. For home visits, I will spend at least 30 minutes with your pet at each visit, if not longer. During that time I will play with them, take them for walks (if canine), or sit quietly if a kitty or older canine prefers. I will feed, ensure they have fresh, clean water, and maintain litter boxes if feline.

Chloe, who is a rescue and has a history as a breeder dog, is typically very cautious around new people. But, to my delight, Chloe was calm and even allowed Natalie to touch her, which was a huge step. When I expressed my concerns about Chloe potentially feeling abandoned, Natalie reassured me with warmth and confidence that Chloe would be just fine. Throughout my time away, Natalie was quick to respond to my check-ins, sending pictures of Chloe happily interacting with her children and another dog. It was evident that Chloe was having a wonderful time, which allowed me to relax and fully enjoy my vacation. I will definitely be using Natalie’s sitter services again in the future. I'm a working professional who is kind and courteous. If you want me to know anything ask, feel free to ask! -Alex I work a full time remote job, with easy morning and evening walking times. The afternoon tends to be a bit busier for me so I may not be able to take an extended break but can make sure your pup has plenty of bathroom breaks and long walks. I am kind and courteous of other people's space. I offer sitting in your space or walks, because my apartment doesn't allow me to have dogs.
