“Angelica Rocks! This was our first experience using a dog sitting service. Angelica was great! She was very loving with Bandit! I was so happy to receive all the detailed communication from her throughout the day. I Will absolutely be calling on her again and again! ?”

About: I have provided pet (and house sitting) services for family and friends since I was a teenager - so about 20 years! I have had dogs my whole life and a cat when I lived on my own after college. I currently have a sweet Mini Aussiedoodle, Pozie, who is 9 years old (who loves to tag along - but only when invited of course). I have experience in training puppies, handling extra large dogs, caring for senior dogs, administering medications to both dogs and cats, and adhering to strict diets and schedules. I am a full-time remote grad student and I also work remotely as a graphic designer, so my schedule is quite flexible and I am able to accommodate your pet’s schedule and needs. I will do my best to diligently adhere to any guidelines you have for your pet to keep them on their usual routine and schedule.

“Kourtney is amazing with my dog, Blue. I know he is in good hands at all times with Kourtney. Blue loves the walks and the affection he gets from them. Highly recommend!”

“Haleigh is prompt and has great communication. My dog is enjoying his walks!”

About: I have had dogs & cats in my life since childhood. A parakeet too! I know how close we become to our pets & how important good care is. I have 2 dogs of my own & have devoted myself to giving them the best life possible. I am newly retired so have lots of time to take care of your beloved pets. I love walking & playing with dogs in all kinds of weather. I will take great care of your pets at your home or while you visit Boothbay Harbor for a few hours or for a day! I will follow your instructions, making sure they are happy & safe. We will always have fun! I am retired and, thus, have quite a bit of time to walk & spend time with your beloved pets!! It’s more than a “job” for me. It’s a labor of love as well. I have a fenced in yard that our dogs use and would prefer walking and caring for your dogs at your home where they are more familiar with the surroundings.

About: ***New Note on Profile*** I recently welcomed a new addition to my family, an Austrailian Shepard puppy named Sapphire 🤗 she was born May 12th 2024. With her being my new best friend & fur baby, I am most interested in entertaining clients and bookings where she is welcome to come along with me. If this is not possible for you or your pets & home, please skip requesting me and pursue another sitter. Thank you! About me: I have been actively building my pet sitting network of beloved clients (2 legged & 4 legged) since 2020. These past 4+ years sparked the beginning of a dream come true I didn’t even know I had. From all the positive experiences, connections, and adventure I’ve had with animals during this time in my home state of Maine, the future is looking bright as my network and experience grows. My favorite part of this all by far is the growing connections and continuing relationships between me and my favorite pets and their owners. From weekly repeat dog walks to being families go to for overnights in their home or mine, I really love deepening connections with returning clients as well as meeting and forming special loving connections with new pets and their people as well! And, of course, the adventures, snuggles, hugs, kisses, toys, and treats make it all the more fun. 😊 As a person with a background in holistic energy work and the healing arts - yoga, reiki, herbalism, permaculture- I have a strong connection with the heart & soul of each animal, plant, person, and all of Nature. When it comes to pets, I recognize they are our allies and best friends, as well as often times our healers, teachers, and of course our beloved family. Since I was born and throughout my childhood into adulthood I have always had multiple pets in my home at any given time so I always love and am most comfortable with animals with me and around me. As an animal and plant person by Nature, I “speak their language” and make it a priority and joy to tune in with their needs whether just being together sharing space or enjoying exploring life together. When at home (mine or yours) I am quiet, peaceful, tidy and neat. I believe that being a strong loving presence wherever we are and improving the spaces we visit to leave them better than we I found it is one of our greatest purposes in Life. Your pets and home will be very well taken care of, at ease, and loved with me by the grace of God. I have somewhat of a green thumb (I have been studying, learning, and practicing year by year) and am an aspiring herb & food grower, forager, folk herbalist, and novice yet passionate baker. So, your plants and gardens can also be well cared with me with your instructions. I have some homestead and farm experience - horses, chickens, goats, gardens, and am willing to learn other livestock care as well. I also have also had experience caring for reptilian pets in the past and am open to snakes, birds, lizards, rodents, fish, you name it. If we agree it’s a good match and I’m taking care of your home, just tell me what you want & need taken care of and I’ll do whatever I can to make sure you come home to a happy and comfortable home, almost like you never left! Rover is fun for me because you never know who you’re going to meet! I am open to all kind and loving humans and animals. As long as you have good virtues, love life and all around you to the fullest, I’m sure it will be a good match and it will be an honor to support each other. I currently am nearly full time pet sitting and also work very part time as a co-manager of a coworking and event space in Bath, Maine. On any given day I can be found taking dogs on adventures in the midcoast area peppered in with 2-4 hour shifts a couple days a week at the coworking space managing daily operations and helping host events. When pet sitting in your home for your animal(s) I am typically available to accommodate your pet’s normal schedule, to spend time with them, drop in throughout the day for visits, or bring them along with me on adventures with other dogs throughout the day. I prefer bookings where your pets can be left home unattended for 2-4 increments to accommodate my part time work schedule. (5 hours ultimate max including commute time depending on your location from Bath for when I work 4 hour work events). In your home I will follow your instructions and duplicate however you care for your pet & home with the utmost care & respect. You tell me! I love going on walks, hikes, beach or dog park adventures, playing ball, frisbee, doing doggie playdates or custom adventures. I am as adventurous or relaxed as your pet needs me to be. Does your dog loves a walk on the beach or a fun hike? I know a spot! Jump in, let’s go! But if they’d rather stay home, take short strolls, play in the yard, and snuggle that’s great too. 😊

About: For many years I have provided compassionate care for dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Having had a rescue farm for 20 years, I have had the privilege of adopting and rescuing dogs, cats, sheep and goats and caring for each of them from homing to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. In addition to providing care for pets of all ages, I especially welcome the opportunity to care for senior pets making sure they receive the gentle attention, patience, and love they deserve in their golden years. I look forward to caring for your pet as you do! I have my own business and have the flexibility of being available to make time to take care of your family pet during the week or weekend. The earlier you can let me know works best but do feel free to reach out if you have an immediate need. Just let me know how and what you would like me to do to provide the care you need for your pet(s) in your home.

“Extremely satisfied with Lynn's services, she is friendly and genuinely loves to care for pets. 100% would recommend”

About: I've always been around animals, ranging from puppies to 17-year-olds. I love all types of animals, and I am willing to provide any type of care they need. Whether it's taking them for rejuvenating walks or sitting and comforting them. I look forward to being in touch :) I'm currently unemployed until June, so I have lots of time to play with your fur babies. I live near walking trails, so as long as they don't mind being in the car, we can explore new areas together. Safety is my top priority. I always use leashes when going for walks, take close observation of the dog's body language, and prepare for all situations when leaving the house.

About: I’ve been around all types of animals my whole life, constantly observing their care and learning to understand their needs over time. From dogs and cats to small pets and farm animals, I’ve spent a generous amount of time in their environment, watching how they’re fed, handled, and cared for. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for animals and how to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m eager to gain more hands-on experience and continue expanding my skills as a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. I’m currently taking a gap year from college, which gives me a lot of free time and flexibility. I’m working per diem at a memory care facility, which allows me to adjust my schedule as needed. This means I have very flexible availability and can easily accommodate pet sitting jobs at various times throughout the week. Whether you need a regular sitter or last-minute help, I’m happy to work around your needs! I take care of pets by closely monitoring their needs and ensuring they’re comfortable and happy. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of playtime, and receive lots of attention and love. Whether it’s giving them cuddles, taking them for walks, or just being there to keep them company, I focus on providing the care and affection they need to feel safe and content. I’m attentive to their individual needs, making sure they get the best care possible while you’re away.

About: I've had 3 cats over the past 12 years, so I know how to cater to both the playful and the chill personalities! I’m experienced with feeding schedules, administering medication if needed, and keeping pets entertained with toys, petting sessions, or just a cozy spot to nap. My goal is to make sure your pets feel loved and comfortable while you're away, whether they're chasing toys or soaking up sunbeams As a college student, I don’t get to see my own cats while I'm at school, which is why I make sure to give extra attention to the pets I sit for. I’m used to managing my time between classes and studying, so I can easily fit in pet care—whether it’s feeding, playing, or just giving them the love and attention they need. I understand how important it is for pets to feel comfortable and cared for, and I’ll treat yours like they’re my own. When I care for pets in their own homes, I make sure to follow their routine and respect their space. I ensure they have a quiet, safe environment where they can feel at ease. I always make sure they have access to fresh water, cozy spots for relaxation, and regular playtime or walks. Whether I’m pet-sitting or providing drop-in visits, I prioritize your pet’s comfort and security, making sure they feel safe and loved while you’re away.

About: I've been caring for all sorts of animals (farm animals to marine mammals to house pets, mostly dogs) since I was 9 years old. I grew up with many pets in my home and had my own dog since I was 8! I have lived around the world working in the field of marine science. Traveling makes it hard to have my own pets, so when I am on land and settled for a certain amount of time, I try to spend as much time with animals as possible! I am an outdoor enthusiast and love running hiking and getting exercise. I also am great with senior dogs and giving them the appropriate care and special needs. Feel free to contact me and I'd love to meet up! I currently work at the Department of Marine Resources in Boothbay Harbor. However, I work from home 3 days/week! Let’s chat about your needs, my schedule is flexible :) I live in a house with my housemate who owns a dog. She is a great and friendly dog, but sometimes gets reactive when puppies get in her face. In your home I am respectful, clean and responsible!

“Joyelle was so kind and made sure my puppy Otto was a happy boy. She was flexible with her time and quick to respond—I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for some help with their fur babies!”

“Taryn and my three year old rescue, pepper, got along very well! She came to walk him midday while I was gone at work. I was happy to receive an update on how the walk went and he seemed very content when I arrived home after work! Will certainly work with Taryn again!”

15. Lillian S.
“I've known Lillie for years, and if there's one thing I can say for sure, it's that she has a heart for animals. She’s always been the one to step in and take care of pets when friends need a hand, whether it's feeding them, taking them for walks, or just hanging out and making sure they're comfortable. She has always had a great way with animals—calm and gentle, but also firm when necessary. She’s had three cats over the years and knows how to manage different personalities and care needs. Lillie is very responsible, as well. I’ve seen her set up schedules for feeding, playtime, and walks, so pets are always well taken care of and never feel neglected. Plus, she knows how to give pets their space when they need it, but she’s also great at giving them attention and making them feel safe. One thing that stands out about Lillie is her attention to detail. Whether it's making sure a pet’s medication is on time or adjusting to their specific routines, she’s always on top of it. She’s someone I would trust completely to care for my own pets, and I’m sure she’d do an amazing job as a sitter! Her experience, love for animals, and her calm demeanor make her the perfect choice for any pet owner looking for a reliable, caring sitter.”

16. Megan S.
“I have known Megan for almost 10 years and loving and caring for animals is second nature for her. Not only does she dedicate her life towards the betterment of marine animals, she is quite skilled at taking care of the fuzzy animal variety as well. She is always to the one to find and bond with your pet first and I've never seen that love and attention be unreciprocated. She is kind, responsible, and would make an incredible guardian to any pet. Highly recommend Megan!”
