About: For many years I have provided compassionate care for dogs, cats, and even farm animals. Having had a rescue farm for 20 years, I have had the privilege of adopting and rescuing dogs, cats, sheep and goats and caring for each of them from homing to crossing the Rainbow Bridge. In addition to providing care for pets of all ages, I especially welcome the opportunity to care for senior pets making sure they receive the gentle attention, patience, and love they deserve in their golden years. I look forward to caring for your pet as you do! I have the flexibility of being available to make time to take care of your family pet during the week or weekend. The earlier you can let me know works best but do feel free to reach out if you have an immediate need. Harpswell is comprised of three peninsulas. My primary service area is Orr's and Bailey Islands with the possibility of traveling to an additional area upon request. I’m currently a manager at a veterinary hospital and work 3 days in the office and one day remote. My schedule is pretty flexible so I can provide care when needed. I will ask for detail instructions on routine and feedings. This way I don’t overwhelm pets with a different person in the home and stay as close to their daily routine as possible.

About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2015, although I’ve always grown up around animals. What started as helping friends and family while they were out of town—sometimes for weeks or even months—quickly became something I truly enjoy and take pride in. I believe that building trust with both pets and their owners is key to providing the best care possible. Before any stay, I like to meet the pet and owner together to get familiar with their routine, any special activities they enjoy, and any health needs I should be aware of. This helps ensure a smooth transition and allows me to care for each pet as if they were my own I recently moved to Maine in May, and I am excited to make this my forever home. While I’m currently job searching, I’m fully available and would love to focus on pet sitting in the meantime. I have open availability and can be flexible with scheduling to meet your needs At our home, I have a spacious 1.1-acre property with a beautiful front yard, a peaceful pond, and a large backyard all of which are unfenced. Pet guests enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time in these open areas. I always meet with the owner ahead of time to learn about the dog’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. From there, I create a care plan that helps your dog feel comfortable and keeps their routine consistent while they’re with me.

About: I've been caring for animals since I was young, pet-sitting for our neighbors. I have experience with all sorts of breeds of dogs of all ages and cats. I have experience with feeding, walking, training, and bathing dogs. I am currently working full-time throughout the weekdays. I would be available for daytime care on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am available throughout the week days after 5 pm. I can take your dogs out for walks around town, the dog park, or your neighborhood. If transporting in the car I have multiple ways to make sure they are safe including harnessing them, crating them, etc. I am also able to bathe the dog if desired.

About: My love for animals, especially dogs and cats, is so apparent that I have requests for taking care of friends animals very often. I truly enjoy loving on animals and just being playful with them. I'll happily open my heart to your pets and appreciate the time I have with them. I'm a single, homeschooling mom, doing my best while my son is in programs a few days a week. But we can also be very flexible with our schedule. I will do my best to make your furry loves as comfortable as possible while you are away for the day or for many days.

About: Hello! My name is Thomas, and I grew up on a farm with a variety of animals. I’ve had dogs all my life, most recently my late pug Lily. I’ve lived witha variety of sized dog (Chihuahua to Irish greyhound), and have had a lot of success with positive reinforcement training over the years. I’ve also cared for cats, cattle, and gerbils in my time. I’m a real animal lover that prioritizes safety and care. I would really like to be able to spend quality time with some pets without making the full commitment to get another of my own right now. I work from home most days, so check ins, walks, and sitting can be accommodated for the majority of the day and all evenings. I used to walk my pup daily before she passed! Care with healthy boundaries are my go to with dogs. I’ve found it important to communicate expectations as clearly as possible, while keeping things calm and caring.

About: I’ve handled large animals, small animals, fish, turtles, etc. I love any and all species! I’ve had dogs since I was born, and now have 3 rescue cats. I have experience with both elderly cats and dogs. I’d love to look after your animal(s)! I’m currently a student at SMCC in South Portland. When I’m not in class, I’m available whenever. I have Friday-Sunday off, and Mon-Thurs available from 3:30ish on. I live in a very safe neighborhood, away from main roads. People often walk/run when it’s nice out. I have a good size yard, with a small pond in the front. The house is equipped for almost any animal.

When pet sitting in your home for your animal(s) I am typically available to accommodate your pet’s normal schedule, to spend time with them, drop in throughout the day for visits, or bring them along with me on adventures with other dogs throughout the day. I prefer bookings where your pets can be left home unattended for 2-4 hour increments to accommodate my part time work schedule. In your home I will follow your instructions and duplicate however you care for your pet & home with the utmost care & respect. You tell me! I love going on walks, hikes, beach or dog park adventures, playing ball, frisbee, doing doggie playdates or custom adventures. I am as adventurous or relaxed as your pet needs me to be. Does your dog loves a walk on the beach or a fun hike? I know a spot! Jump in, let’s go! But if they’d rather stay home, take short strolls, play in the yard, and snuggle that’s great too. 😊

About: I have two years of prior experience walking/boarding dogs with the Wag! App, and I loved every second of it. My family back home in Maine has two dogs, so I have years of experience caring for dogs. I am working full-time right now, so I can walk/board dogs in the evenings after 8PM and all day on Sunday & Monday. I could also walk dogs in the mornings before 8AM, but that would be circumstantial. I have four roommates that also adore dogs so there will be no shortage of attention. Additionally, we have a fenced in backyard. It is not very big, but it is a place dogs could roam and sniff!

About: I’ve been an animal lover for my whole life! I have experience with dogs of many sizes and breeds, cats, cows, and chickens. Walking dogs is one of my favorite things to do. I have worked for a dog walking company for the past 3 years. Also, I have worked on multiple farms where I’ve cared for farm animals and dogs/cats. I will care for your pet as if they were my own! I’m working a remote part-time job which leaves me with plenty of time to walk dogs throughout the day and in the evening. Additionally, I have a very flexible schedule on the weekends. If I am caring for your pet in your home I will make sure to follow whatever schedule you have for them. I will take them out to play often and give them lots of love.
