About: Growing up I’ve had pets ranging from dogs to reptiles. Spending time and taking care of them was never a job but a passion. From volunteering at animal shelters at a young age to pet sitting for friends and family, I continue to express my love and care for animals. I also have a 16 year old Portuguese Water Dog at home and she is my world! I currently work full time from 8am to 4pm Mon-Fri. Sitting for pets before and after my work hours on those days is no problem of mine if the owner is ok with them spending that period of time alone. That being said I am also able to spend nights at owners homes on said weekdays. I live in a private neighborhood with great dog walking roads and trails. I also have an elderly dog who enjoys company and a backyard for the two of them to play.

I currently volunteer with the ARLGP, and love the skills I learn every day from the dogs and other animals there. Whether your dog is the easiest to walk, or needs some special attention (and strength!), I am here to help! Your pets may come back with better manners than when they left :) I am a business owner, and am often home at my property in Topsham enjoying the sunshine or local trails with them. Despite my own travel, my schedule is incredibly open and flexible! We have a small portion of our yard that has a light fence, we usually just walk the dogs or take them to the nearby dog park. About: I raised, trained, and cared for my family dog from a puppy when I was in high school. Post college I adopted a senior dog and cared for him for the last couple of years of his life. In the meantime I have been a sitter for friends and family dogs and cats over the years. I am used to giving medications (even when it needs to be disguised) and staying on a feeding schedules. I am very up for caring for senior dogs who want to lay around the house, and equally ready to go on long walks with a dog with more energy. I work from home always, so will be around during the day for pups who like to hang! I'm on the East End of Portland with the Eastern Prom very close by so plenty of places to walk and explore. I am usually out and about in the evenings for a few hours at a time. On the weekends I like to be busy, but can certainly adjust my time when I have a dog or cat around. I have a large one bedroom, and am on the 3rd floor. So my place is likely not good for pets with mobility issues (unless they are small enough that I can carry them). I live very close to lots of nature easily accessible and make a point to get outside often.

I understand different animals have different needs and routines. Here to help look after your animals for dog walks, drop in visits, potty breaks, babysitting! This was my first time using her services for my dog Chloe, and I must admit, I was initially very nervous about leaving her with someone, as I had never left her in the care of another person before. However, from the moment I met Natalie, I could immediately sense her genuine love for animals. Chloe, who is a rescue and has a history as a breeder dog, is typically very cautious around new people. But, to my delight, Chloe was calm and even allowed Natalie to touch her, which was a huge step. When I expressed my concerns about Chloe potentially feeling abandoned, Natalie reassured me with warmth and confidence that Chloe would be just fine. Throughout my time away, Natalie was quick to respond to my check-ins, sending pictures of Chloe happily interacting with her children and another dog. It was evident that Chloe was having a wonderful time, which allowed me to relax and fully enjoy my vacation. I will definitely be using Natalie’s sitter services again in the future. About: I recently lost my 14 y/o Coonhound (Jazzy) She was the bestest girl in the world, and the best friend anyone could ask for. I am not ready for another dog just yet, but I would love to have another heartbeat in the house. My schedule is very flexible, in the event that I have to run some errands, I am happy to take your dog for a car ride with me. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large backyard and in close proximity to trails for long walks that I often frequent. Also, I could not be happier to have your dog hang out on the couch with me while I read or work from home.
