About: I've taken care of animals since I was young, often a family friend and now often my own friends! I am open to all animals, any age, any kind. I know how stressed animals can get when their people are away, and I believe in providing a temporary replacement that is as near to their normal as possible. I'm not currently working, so I am mostly free throughout each week! I am able to come and go at any time in the day as well! Safety and trust are my top priority with every pet I care for. For house sitting, I stay in your home to keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible like sticking closely to their usual feeding, medication, and bathroom schedule, keeping doors and gates secure, and making sure the home stays safe and undisturbed while you’re away. Pets tend to feel calmer staying in their own space, and I’m there to give them company and attention throughout. For drop-in visits, I do a quick walkthrough on arrival to make sure everything is as it should be, follow your instructions exactly for feeding, litter box or bathroom needs, and always double check doors and gates are secure before I leave. For walks, dogs stay leashed at all times unless you’ve told me otherwise and I’ve confirmed the area is safe, and I stay alert to traffic, other animals, and weather conditions. For cats, I’m mindful of their comfort level and never force interaction or handling they’re not used to. Across all services, I send photo and text updates so you always know how your pet is doing, and I keep emergency contacts (you and your vet) on hand just in case!

About: I am a huge animal lover and have always had dogs my entire life! I currently have two cats, but love visiting all my friends with pups/watching or taking care of them while my friends are away! Animals usually take to me very well and I love all breeds and sizes! I currently have a full time job so whenever I’m not working there I have a good amount of free time and love to go on walks to the ocean and parks! I figured I could easily do that while walking a dog as well! I do not offer services inside my house at this time unfortunately, only due to a no dog policy that is enforced by my landlord.
About: I'm an experienced doggy foster, boarding more than 10 new-to-Maine rescues last year before adopting a sweet little pup of my own. Although I'm primarily listing my offering as dog boarding at my home, Marcy and I are flexibile so long as there is reliable internet. So please reach out if you prefer boarding at your home instead. Note that Marcy is gentle not prey driven, though she's only been introduced to one cat. If you have kitties, let's do a meet-n-greet to ensure it's a good fit. Reach out with any questions! I work at home, with flexibility around meetings for walks, dog park trips, and potty/training breaks. I’m available to pet sit any day of the week. At my home: I have a 4 ft fenced-in yard for play time, which turns into an at-home dog park when Marcy has a visitor. Note that the fence isn't foolproof for an escape artist or high jumper. Dogs are allowed throughout the house and on couches, if they choose. Sleeping arrangements are flexible, especially knowing visiting pups can sometimes feel more comfortable sleeping in bed with a human. Marcy is crate-trained, and I have a large crate in case your pup needs a designated safe space.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
