McKinley goes above and beyond to make sure pets are comfortable, safe, and entertained, and that pet owners are kept in the loop on their fur babies' antics. About: I’ve been around all types of animals my whole life, constantly observing their care and learning to understand their needs over time. From dogs and cats to small pets and farm animals, I’ve spent a generous amount of time in their environment, watching how they’re fed, handled, and cared for. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for animals and how to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m eager to gain more hands-on experience and continue expanding my skills as a reliable and compassionate pet sitter. I’m currently taking a gap year from college, which gives me a lot of free time and flexibility. I’m working per diem at a memory care facility, which allows me to adjust my schedule as needed. This means I have very flexible availability and can easily accommodate pet sitting jobs at various times throughout the week. Whether you need a regular sitter or last-minute help, I’m happy to work around your needs! I take care of pets by closely monitoring their needs and ensuring they’re comfortable and happy. I make sure they’re fed on time, get plenty of playtime, and receive lots of attention and love. Whether it’s giving them cuddles, taking them for walks, or just being there to keep them company, I focus on providing the care and affection they need to feel safe and content. I’m attentive to their individual needs, making sure they get the best care possible while you’re away.

“A last minute change of plans in the family led us to Rover.com and to Taryn. Our 5 year old rescue lab is skittish in the best of situations. From the meet and greet to the established trust relationship with our beloved Echo and the family, we were confident that we could travel and know she would be safe and attended to. We couldn't have been more pleased! We received updates and photos regularly and Echo appeared content and comfortable in all of her situations. We'll ask Taryn again for sure. It's comforting to know that she is nearby and accessible if and when we need her!”

“Elia took great care of my two standard poodles. She stayed with them in my home and provide them with such good attention. She kept me updated on how they were doing and how they were on the walks. As there are two she did a good job during feeding tims to make sure each dog received their food separately and no scuffles between them I look forward to working with her again soon!”

“WOW I can't rave about Kelsey enough! She took unbelievably good and seamless care of my pup Milo and my home for the 10 days we were gone. Milo suffers from anxiety and can be reactive in certain settings but Kelsey is incredibly in tune with animals and really took the time to bond with Milo and put him at ease. She worked to maintain his routine and I was sent pictures of their off-leash trails adventures almost every day, which is something we feel comfortable doing with him but many of his caretakers haven't. Kelsey took the time to learn all his commands and reinforce all our house rules with him while we were gone which was obvious in his calm demeanor when we returned home. And we were left a fresh baked loaf of sourdough bread inscribed with "Milo", come on! Kelsey is an absolute dream and I truly can't recommend her enough!”
