About: I’m a certified animal lover with a fur baby of my own (Henry, 9lb of quiet sweetness) that I’ve been caring for over 10 years. I own a wedding photography business that allows me to work from home 90% of my year. If I am booked on a specific day during your booking, I will let you know ahead of time so you can approve or deny the amount of hours I will be gone for that day (which can be anywhere from a 1-hour session to a full 10-hour wedding). I have experience as a dog owner, but have also spent many of my years dog and cat sitting for my friends and family. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I’m experience with a range of ages and needs, including puppies and elder animals with special care needs. I love dogs, as you can tell, and have all the time in the world to watch and play with them! I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. Whether you need me to cuddle, feed, brush, walk, or play with your pup, I'm your gal. Note: while I take a combo of meds for my dander allergy and have a high tolerance, I ask that any animals/homes with animals with high shedding be appropriately groomed and cleaned before sitting. If I stay in your home, a vacuuming or light cleaning does wonders. If your fur baby is boarded in my home, a bath or deshedding session beforehand is much appreciated. I work from home, so pet care can be a day round activity for me. If I am sitting in your home or doing check ins, I can stay or come by as frequently as needed, given availability based on any events or sessions I have previously booked. I will always communicate with pet parents about the needs for their specific fur baby. I understand all needs are unique, so aside from common sense (walks, feedings, playing), I’ll make sure to tailor their care as needed.

About: Hey there! Luckily, there has always been a dog in my life. The longest that I have gone without a "best friend" is ten days. There's really nothing that compares to the love and companionship that having a dog in your life brings. Every dog that has been in my family, or that has been my own, had the chance to live into old age. I know how to deal with puppies and senior dogs who may unfortunately have hip dysplasia or arthritis. My girl Agatha was blind by the age of four, so I had the chance of being her eyes for six years. My sidekick now is Sofie, a 100lb lap dog! She has two cat brothers and they're all in love. Anyway, I begin nursing school in September and I would love to take care of your cherished pets as a means to help me get through the program. I'm ready for a meet and greet anytime. Taking care of your loved animals is going to be my part-time job. This job is going to help me get through nursing school while doing something I truly enjoy. At least one photo per recap/update. - My non-emergency communication hours are 7am-11pm. - For personal safety, my walking curfew is 10pm. During visits, I can let them outside until 11pm if you have a private yard. - Unless approved otherwise, I respond to all messages ASAP, but no more 30 minutes during my hours. - I have a safe car for emergencies or trips to dog-parks. Please provide any preferred safety equipment your buddy needs and I'll happily use it. (I have a safety attachment so they can enjoy the ride with the window down.) - For my personaI safety, I do not enter or stay in unlocked homes.
