I’ve looked after dogs of all ages, temperaments, and needs—from playful puppies to senior snugglers—administering medications, walking multiple dogs at once, and tuning into each pup’s unique personality. At this point, pet care is second nature, and I absolutely love the rhythm of sharing my home and attention with visiting pups. As a full-time musician, I get to make my own schedule and work from home whenever I’m not on tour. Since I’ve decided to take most of this year off from touring, I currently work a part-time coffee job three days a week. On those days, my partner—who’s just as dog-obsessed as I am—is home to help care for your pup. The rest of the week, my schedule is flexible and often home-based, so your dog will get an abundance of love and attention. I don’t currently have a dog of my own due to my travel schedule, so I’ve got a loooooot of pent-up doggo love ready to shower your fur baby with! About: We've been an animal household from the beginning! I grew up around family dogs, cats, bunnies, birds and hamsters and had my own pup for the past 16 years. I've pet sat for friends and family, as well as co-workers, and I've watched the gamut of age and size and have equal love for all. I've also cared for senior dogs with specialized healthcare needs. I work remote and have a very flexible schedule during the day that can accommodate your pet’s needs and allows me to be with your pet around the clock. I know that each pet owner has a standard for which they care for their pets, my goal is to emulate that to the best of my ability so that your pet's routines are the least affected while you are away from them. My dog was the most important thing to me and your pets will be too while they are in my care.

My husband and I had our own dog until she passed away and, over the years, have also fostered several others and dogsat frequently. I love all dogs and have a special soft spot for pitties and other larger breeds. I typically only take a couple bookings per week, though I make exceptions when I can for repeat customers and for customers who live especially close to us. If a request conflicts with something on my calendar I’ll always check before booking if a slightly later or earlier visit might work with your and your dog’s schedule. I am a very conscientious dog walker and sitter. I clean up after your dog and myself and will always ask if I need to know where you keep poop bags, treats, or towels to clean muddy feet if it’s a rainy day. Feel free to share any special preferences or requests so I can accommodate them.

About: I started dog sitting while in college almost 10 years ago. Right now I live in a first floor condo with easy access for walks and potty breaks. I have a 2 year old golden retriever that loves to play and would keep your baby company. I have experience with puppies and can help assist with potty training. I am taking a break from my current job as a travel nurse so my schedule is open and flexible. I look forward to walking or boarding your dog. My flexible schedule allows for last minute requests or short notice stays when you are in need of a dog sitter. With my open schedule, I have time for multiple walks throughout the day and your dog would have a 2 year old golden retriever friend to play with in the meantime. I can crate your dog, if needed.

“I definitely don’t want to recommend Cassie so I can have her all to myself but everyone should know how satisfied we were with our dog’s stay with her! She, and her dog Theo, were so good with our high energy pup. We loved the photos and videos of our and her dogs playing together, and appreciated her fenced-in yard her house provided. We will definitely be using Cassie for all of our Rover stays if she’s available.”
