“Marisa was super nice working with us. We had a snow and ice storm the day before we left. She made arrangements for us so we didn’t miss our trip. Coco did well with her.”

“Janey is an AMAZING dog-sitter, and I cannot thank her enough for taking such great care of Coco. You can tell she truly enjoys caring for animals and treated Coco like she was her own - even letting her sleep in the bed (which I know Coco loves.) I really appreciate the daily updates. When I picked her up from Janey, Coco seemed so happy and comfortable being with her. Will definitely book with Janey again. Thank you so much!!!”

“Austin was incredible, and I would absolutely use him again! He sent me updates multiple times a day about how my dog was doing, pictures etc. He truly loves and cares about dogs, and is one of the best sitters I've ever used on Rover. Thank you so much!”

“Huri was excellent! Responded immediately, took our pup last minute. Within 2 hours of reaching out, she had our dog. Took excellent care of him. He was happy to stay with her and acted as if he had been treated great! Thanks again Huri!!”

“Ritch was great! Gave updates with pictures threw out the time my pup was with him. They treated her like their own dog. Very good with communicating as well”

“This was our first experience using a third-party app like Rover my wife and I were constantly putting our animal in kennel stays as we went out of town. When I got recommended the app, I was a bit skeptical, but after meeting Chris and seeing his interaction with Mattis, I was comfortable and knowing that he’d be left in some good hands. As we went on vacation out of the country Chris kept us informed with scheduled messages and rapid communication anytime I reached out. He gave me and my wife a piece of mind with pictures letting us know our pup and (despite being close to 70 lbs) was safe and having fun.. thanks for taking care of our fur baby Chris. Cheers!”

“She went above and beyond. She was so considerate. My cat is anxious , but Robin was patient with her. And, she gave her everything a cat could need. She also gave me some valuable advice, as someone that has years of experience in cat rescue.”

“This is the second time Ashley has watched my dog and he absolutely adores her. She is very quick at responding and sent pictures every day he was with her. She even drove out of her way to drop a toy off that I left over at her place. She is the best!”

“Ariana was awesome! Sent pictures of Yona with her Aussies daily! I could tell Yona had such a great time! I would definitely recommend Ariana to anyone looking for someone to watch their pup! Thanks so much Ariana!”

“John was very accommodating and worked with us. I was a little nervous about leaving my (new) dog (Brownie is a shy dog at first) with anyone but I felt comfortable that he was going to do well and both him and Brownie ended up hitting it off! Highly recommend!”

“This is Elsa’ s 4th or 5th visit with Erika. I have at least 4 more trips this year- she is great about staying in touch and Elsa has started to get excited when She sees where we are.”

About: Hi! While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. From fostering a senior chihuahua to caring for 150 pound mastiffs, I have a wide variety of experience. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of having someone you trust to take care of your pet. I’m a huge animal lover and truly love nothing more than snuggling up with a cat or dog on the couch. I love sending photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m a teacher so I’m extremely flexible during the summer. During the school year I do work 7am-3pm so your pet would have to be okay being alone for at least 8 hours. My weekends are low key so I’m able to provide much more undivided attention to your pet. I stay in homes for pet sitting as well as board dogs (dogs only) in my home. If your dog stays with me, I have a large fenced in back yard and very sweet 6 year old golden retriever to keep your pup company. I have two roommates that love pets as well. Your pup is also welcome to sleep with me as that’s what mine typically does. I live near a park and typically take my dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in the evenings and would gladly take your dog for as much or as little of that as you prefer. If I stay in your home, my dog will he cared for by my roommates and I will provide your animals preferred routine.

About: I have experience caring for dogs through pet sitting, dog walking, drop-in visits, and extended stays in my home. Friends, family, and pet owners have trusted me to provide attentive and reliable care, whether that means feeding, exercising, grooming, or simply keeping their dogs company throughout the day. I love staying active and enjoy taking dogs on long walks around my neighborhood, Centennial Park, and the Vanderbilt area. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I have a flexible schedule and enjoy staying active, which allows me to provide plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship for your dog. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and overnight stays. Long walks are one of my favorite activities, and I’m happy to adjust to your pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I live in an apartment with access to a dog park within the community and several walkable areas nearby. I’m also close to Centennial Park and the Vanderbilt campus, which are great locations for safe, enjoyable walks. I have experience caring for dogs in my home for extended stays, as well as providing dog walking and pet-sitting services. During visits, I can provide exercise, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention to help your dog feel happy and secure while you're away.

About: I'm a dog lover with two miniature dachshunds who loves caring for other small dogs. I work from home, so your pup will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I started pet sitting because I genuinely enjoy having extra puppy friends around. I only take one small dog at a time, so every guest gets lots of one-on-one attention in a calm, relaxed home environment. I’m a PhD student who works primarily from home, so your pup will receive plenty of attention, supervision, and playtime throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide daycare and overnight boarding on both weekdays and weekends. I only accept a limited number of dogs at a time so every guest gets the care, love, and attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety and happiness are my top priorities. I have two friendly miniature dachshunds, Kiki and Lulu, who love other small dogs. To create a calm and safe environment, I only accept small breeds. Every dog is introduced slowly, supervised during play, and given their own space if they need a break. I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine for meals, potty breaks, medications, and bedtime, and I’ll send plenty of photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pup is having a great time.
“Emily was fantastic with Minnie! Her home is incredibly dog-friendly, with plenty of beds, blankets, and a great backyard for play. Minnie stayed for one night, went on her walks, and I felt completely confident she was in good hands. If we’re ever back in Nashville, we would definitely book Emily again. Highly recommend!”

“Julie and Josiah were wonderful! Their dog Nova is super friendly and played so well with our golden. They kept us informed on how things were going, sent pictures and made the overall experience seamless. We look forward to booking with them again!!”

“Margaret was THEE best sitter for my whittle Harley poo who is an “aging gracefully senior”. She loved their girls day on the last day and I’m truly grateful for her. 💕”

“We’re so grateful for Stephanie! Our cats are always happy when we get back home, everything is spotless, and her photo updates are amazing. Truly the best!”

“Sarah was exceptionally caring with my cats. She was very thoughtful, making sure she completely understood the instructions I provided. There were some complicated aspects regarding access to where I live, but she was able to sort everything out perfectly. She also got along very well with my cats, sent me lots of pictures and videos of them while I was away, and attended to all my cats' needs. I'm very grateful to her.”

“Ashley did a great job taking care of my cat for a long weekend. She followed my instructions exactly, sent lots of photos, and wrote a thoughtful summary of the visit each day.”

“Sophie was great with our dogs. She was very communicative, took lots of photos and went above and beyond what a typical dogsitter would do. Highly recommend. We'll be using her again for sure.”

“Elizabeth was amazing!! She was very attentive to my dog, her care, and even things that were helpful to know while I was away from home. I can't recommend enough, especially if you have shy dogs because mine warmed up to her so quick!”

About: I’ve always owned a cat growing up and tend to gravitate towards them. Cats love me even the scaredy cats or the shy ones. I get along with all types of personalities. Whether they are vocal and playful or chill and reserved I can accommodate

About: i have had cats since i was 7 years old. we would foster them as well as adopted a few over the years. when i moved out on my own I found a cat in a tree and cherished her for 6 years before she passed. Cats are my favorite animals in the world and i’m sure I’ll adore yours too.
About: I have always been an animal lover and have grown up with dogs in my home. Neighbors, family and teachers/professors have relied on me to walk, feed and tire out their pets when they are out of town or gone for long periods of time. I have 2 dogs of my own and know how easy it is to worry about if they are okay when they are home for long durations of time without a check in or walk. I'm available after 3:30 Monday through Friday and anytime on Saturday and Sundays. Can also be available for lunch breaks on Monday, Thursday and Friday if needed. Depending on what the dog owners are comfortable with and if the space permits, I love to play in fenced in backyards to tire out fur babies (fetch, tug of war, chase, etc). I also love a good walk with lots of sniff and potty breaks!

About: Had cats most of my life. There's no aspect of their love and care I haven't been part of - everything from administering meds to cleaning boxes to the occasional hairball - no emergency is too big or too small - I've seen 'em all

About: I have had cats pretty much my entire life: multiple American Shorthairs, a Maine Coon, and then my husband and I had a Sphynx, so I have experience bathing and caring for hairless cats! At one point, I cared for a senior dog who required multiple medications, special meals, and help with his ear treatments. Over the past year, I have been on and off boarding a friend's cat, who unfortunately has cancer and also requires multiple medications. I am willing to do boarding in our home as well as drop-ins/hangouts at your home!

About: Hi! I’m a dependable pet lover who enjoys spending time with cats of all personalities. I can help with feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, and giving your cat the attention they need while you’re away. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for.
About: Looking for a loving companion for your dog (or cat) while you're away? Look no further! My immense love of dogs started at quite a young age. And after much begging to my mother, we rescued my childhood dog from a humane society shelter in Ft. Worth, TX, and the rest is history. With me, you can rest easy knowing that your dog is receiving all the love and care possible. Dogs are not a job, but a life passion of mine! My first pet sitting experience, at the age of 6 (under the supervision of my mother), is one I won't soon forget. The neighbors had tasked me with watching their cat while they were away. The only problem was that they had forgotten to leave us a key to the apartment. Times like this one taught me to be quick on my feet in emergent situations. In the end, we were able to secure a key, and the cat was safe and well cared for. Over the years, my experience grew immeasurably, and even included a long standing stint as a "dog nanny" when her dog mom and dad vacationed. Expect for your furry family member to receive extra doses of love, top-notch care, walks, play time, snuggles (at no extra charge), and more! If you hire me, know that I look at this not as a job, but as a life passion. Your little (or not so little) loved one will be in great hands! * Willing to lock in prices for regular clients!! :) Rover is currently my full time gig, as I am in between jobs. So this means more love and quality time spent with your babies! I live at the end of a cul de sac that offers plenty of outdoor and walking space! I also live alone, so no roommates or other dogs (although I do sometimes have Rover clients at once pending the dogs do well with each other). I am in between jobs at the moment, so Rover is my full time income. This means extra quality time and love for your babies! If your dog is crate trained, feel free to bring it along, as this can provide a sense of comfort and safe space them. I do have a camera that I sometimes use to check in on the dogs, should I have to leave to run a quick errand or something.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since the minute I could drive. All kinds not just dogs, (even though they’re my favorite!). I will care for your babies as if they were mine! People would describe me as a very outgoing, hardworking, reliable person. I also now own a business for pet care and cleaning! Licensed & Insured! ✨DD’s Cleaning & Care Co. Llc✨ I’m available most of the time if you let know in advance! I clean houses some days ,so occasionally I will be gone for 4-6 hours depending on my schedule that week. Message me and check! I care for dogs only in your home. I can bathe, feed, give medicine, walk and play with them in any environment (fence or no fence, apartment, etc.).

“Robin was amazing. Attentive and communicated well. She kept my pup super active while she had her and went above expectation of what was asked. Thank you so much!”

“Christine was amazing. I had to go on a work trip and couldn't leave our sweet Maggie alone at home while my husband was at work due to separation anxiety. Christine did doggie daycare for us and Maggie adored her. She was flexible, responsive, sent us a ton of pictures, and spoiled our girl. Hopefully we can use her every time moving forward :)”

“Alexandra and katya are the absolute best. My lil guy loves them so much. I feel so relieved dropping him off and seeing how he can't wait to see them. He also comes home calm and well exercised. Very thankful!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. I have lots of grass around my apartment and a big dog park for them to play. I also love going on walks with them and being active if that’s what they like!

“Amanda is an incredibly kind, nurturing, and loving dog-sitter. She was able to accommodate us at the last minute, and our dog would wag his tail in excitement when he got out of the car and knew he was at Amanda's house. Highly recommended!”

“Taylor is amazing!!! She genuinely cared for Jackson. He was really sad when we left and she made him feel loved. When we returned, we could tell he had a great time with Taylor. We knew he trusted her when Taylor sent a picture of Jackson napping and he was lying upside down. He only does that when he trusts people. We will definitely reach out to Taylor again for day care.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and other pets. I currently live in a home with a fully fenced yard, which provides a safe and secure place for dogs to play and get plenty of exercise. I also have a friendly Black Lab who gets along great with other dogs and enjoys having new friends to run around with. For three years, I volunteered at a veterinary hospital where I helped care for dogs and other animals. That experience gave me valuable hands-on experience working with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and needs, and it helped me develop a strong understanding of responsible and attentive pet care. Over the years, I’ve also house-sat and pet-sat for many friends and families while they were out of town. I take pride in making sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding routines, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. In my professional career, I work in Human Resources, where trust, responsibility, and reliability are essential. I understand how important it is to feel confident about who is caring for your pets and home. I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and regular communication while you’re away—even daily if you’d like—so you always know how your pets are doing. If you’re heading out of town, you can relax knowing your pets will be cared for in a safe, comfortable environment by someone who genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility seriously I work 9am to 4pm in Nashville but can work remote. I am home in the evenings and can come home for lunch if need be to give extra attention. I have a fenced yard and a safe home. My dog sleeps in my bed and your fur baby to welcome where ever he or she chooses.
“Xue was great, Hoochu immediately loved her! She was very good at communicating everything and she was able to take care of him even though it was a very short notice. I will definitely book with her again!!”

Looking to fill up my free time with animals! I enjoy taking pictures, so don't be surprised if you get some pics of your pet(s)! Feel free to reach out :) I’m currently working from home, so your pet will get plenty of pets! This also allows me to be able to let them out whenever is needed. My boyfriend and I will shower them with attention! I do exactly what is told of me to do by the owner! I’m very flexible and able to work with a variety of animals and their different behaviors.
“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

“Janey was very accommodating to my Gracie. She was very kind and understanding of my situation and took her in pretty last minute. Gracie loved the stay with Janey!”

The frequent updates made me SMILE HARD throughout my work day. It felt great knowing that he was was having a great time and getting some engagement instead of being home alone. Julie was such a great find, very close to work, she took special care in understanding his likes and dislikes which made Jaxson feel at ease with her and her family in no time! About: Hi there! My name is Tricia, and I love dogs! I don't have one of my own yet, but what's the second-best thing to having a dog? Taking care of yours. I have been around dogs all my life, starting when I was 10 years old, and my family got a German Shorthaired Pointer named Cassie. I have lived with a Husky, Weimaraner, and a 100lb Labradoodle. Someday I would like to rescue an English Bulldog (GO DAWGS!) and adopt the oldest pit bull at the pound. I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible, and I can work from anywhere. I enjoy walking for exercise, and there is nothing better than doing it with a four-legged friend. I don't smoke, do drugs, and only drink socially outside the home. After having a whirlwind couple of decades, I am in my quieter era, enjoying reading, podcasts, and streaming my favorite shows. Taking care of pets is a natural part of my day because my schedule is flexible and I can work from any location. I love being outdoors and staying active, so I truly enjoy walks and playtime. I plan my day around each pet, making sure they always get the attention, exercise, and care they need When I look after your pet at your home, I follow their normal routine and your instructions for feeding, walks, and care. I keep the space tidy and watch your pet to make sure they’re doing well. If your pet stays with me, I give them a calm, safe place and make sure they get plenty of attention and exercise. I’ll send you regular updates, so you always know how your pet is doing.

About: Hi! I’m a nursing student who absolutely loves animals. I’ve grown up in a house with at least two dogs my entire life, ranging from small breeds to large breeds, so caring for dogs has always been a part of my daily life. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs who may need a little extra patience and attention. Friends and family have trusted me to help with walking, feeding, playtime, and general pet care over the years. I’m active, reliable, and love spending time outdoors, so whether your pup needs a long walk, plenty of exercise, or just some company while you’re away, I’ve got it covered. I’ll treat your dog like my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m currently on summer break from nursing school, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care. Other than occasionally working a shift at the hospital (typically only about one day per week), I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine and make sure they get the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. As a nursing student, safety and responsibility are very important to me. I always follow owners’ instructions closely, whether that involves feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, or special routines. I understand that every pet is different, and I strive to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’ll treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect that I would my own.

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and relatives, and I've been surrounded by pets my entire life. Growing up with both dogs and a cat has given me a strong understanding of different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. My pet care experience includes feeding, daily walks, playtime, providing companionship, cleaning up after pets, and ensuring they maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their owner's absence. As an elementary school counselor, I bring patience, responsibility, strong communication skills, and close attention to detail to every pet I care for. I take pride in being dependable and trustworthy, and I treat every pet as if they were part of my own family. My goal is to provide peace of mind for pet parents while giving their pets the care, attention, and affection they deserve. I work as an elementary school counselor during the school year and am currently on summer break, so I have very flexible and open availability. I’m looking forward to using this time to provide dependable and attentive care for pets throughout the week and weekends. I live in a townhome with no other pets in the house. In your home, I will follow all instructions carefully, stick to the schedule you provide, and give regular updates so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Creating a trustworthy and comfortable environment for your pets is my top priority.
About: I've been around dogs literally all my life! From arriving home from the hospital until March 2015 I've always had at least one dog in the home. After my dog's passing I had to fill the void left by his absence so I decided to care for other dogs. I'm very energetic and active and would love the opportunity to provide love and care to your pet during your absence. I work from home full time so you can rest assured that your beloved dog is receiving great attentive care for their entire stay. Please advise me if your dog does not get along with other dogs so that I can try to make an accommodation if possible. This may result in additional fees as this limits the number of pups I can care for at a given time. I do book on and off of Rover.com so I may already have a stay scheduled off app. I am located just northwest of Nashville, 7 minutes from downtown! I work from home full time so I am flexible in providing daily exercise, frequent potty breaks, and outdoor time where they will be closely monitored. I do have a large back yard that is fully fenced in. I prefer to keep your pets routine as consistent as possible to their current schedule so I will ask about their feeding times and preferred activities. ● DAYCARE - 7:00AM - 7:00PM Early and/or late drop off/pick up times are subject to additional fees. ● BOARDING - Drop off as early as 7:00AM (or a pre-arranged earlier time as I try to accommodate individual needs as early as 5:00 am and such) with pick up within 2 hours of the drop off time on the day of departure. Pick up times outside of the 2 hour drop off will most likely result in a half day or rate or full day rate as Rover.com automatically calculates the rates. ***Arrangements can be made for different boarding needs such as later arrival for which a later pick up time on the departure day would be appropriate. I'm super flexible and can most likely accommodate last minute changes and unforseen circumstances. I want to minimize any worries for you and your fur babies. ❤️🐕 Rest assured that your dogs safety and security is a priority. Also, crate trained or the ability for your pet to be crated is preferred (exceptions can be made) to ensure your pets safety while unattended & to reduce the likelihood of any harmful events occurring. I am home full-time but there may be instances where I may need to run a quick errand, shower, etc. that may require for me to be away for a short time. When I'm at home your pup will have access to roam freely throughout the space.

Cheers!”

“Mo was absolutely amazing. Kept me informed with videos and pictures once a day. She kept me updated about how he was doing as well. She had a very nice big fenced yard for him. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve cared for animals of all kinds (through a job) including but not limited to: primates, farm animals, reptiles, arthropods, arachnids, exotics, and more. I have 2 cats and 2 dogs right now. I have adopted up to 2 dogs at a time and 4 cats at a time, so multi-pet homes are no problem (Even 4 cats and 2 dogs at one point). I love all types of animals and haven’t met one that did not also love me. This isnt just a job for me; I get a little dopamine boost every time I see them. I will care for yours as if they are my own! I am currently not working (on a 1 year break to add another degree to my resume) and I am not in classes until fall. I am available most of the time but days and hours will vary some weeks with my family’a schedule. I am looking to stay busy! I prefer to stay on my own home over night and do late night/early morning checks if possible. Some days will be able to stay all day and some days may have errands but can work with whatever your needs are! Prefer some notice, of course, but I’m flexible as well. I know what it is like to need last minute pet care as we use rover for our own babies. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats. A fenced yard at my home and a ton of space to keep animals separate if needed. I can go to your home as well. Whatever you are ok with (my dogs would stay at my home if so). I’m comfortable with medications and special needs. My cat has even had a feeding tube at one point that I am experienced with. As long as your dogs are leashed trained, I can walk up to 2 at a time. I can feed, walk, crate, your dogs. Just ask and I can let you know if I am able to help you with your needs I may not have listed :)
“Madeline was a wonderful dog sitter for my little pup. I had never used rover before and my dog is very ~particular~ so I was nervous how he would do with someone new. She took amazing care of him and provided several updates so I knew he was having a great weekend! I would 100% recommend Madeline if you are looking for a sweet, reliable Rover to watch your pup!”

“Effua is great! We were traveling through town for a job interview on the way to a holiday family visit which is why we had our dog. It was very complicated scheduling. Effua was very accommodating and our dog came back to us happy and calm. We chose Effua because of her reviews and the number of repeat clients she has. We were not disappointed in any way.”

“Teresa was great with the pups. She kept me updated on their daily vacation and contacted me with any questions! Would definitely book with her again.”
