About: I grew up in a dog loving household, and as the oldest child, had a very helping hand in the care and training of our dogs. We now have a Goldendoodle named Truman who lives full time with my parents, but loves to come for lengthy visits when they travel. My boyfriend and I have a dog together - Nala - who is a sweet Shepsky mix. She can be an anxious girl, and doesn’t always love other dogs, so I have gained a lot of experience in helping her get comfortable around strangers. About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. About: I’ve taken care of pets ever since I was a toddler. I’ve trained 3 of my own pets before! I have loved animals and have such a big loving heart for all fur babies. About: I've been around dogs literally all my life! From arriving home from the hospital until March 2015 I've always had at least one dog in the home. After my dog's passing I had to fill the void left by his absence so I decided to care for other dogs. I'm very energetic and active and would love the opportunity to provide love and care to your pet during your absence. I work from home full time so you can rest assured that your beloved dog is receiving great attentive care for their entire stay. Please advise me if your dog does not get along with other dogs so that I can try to make an accommodation if possible. This may result in additional fees as this limits the number of pups I can care for at a given time. I do book on and off of Rover.com so I may already have a stay scheduled off app. I am located just northwest of Nashville, 7 minutes from downtown! I work from home full time so I am flexible in providing daily exercise, frequent potty breaks, and outdoor time where they will be closely monitored. I do have a large back yard that is fully fenced in. I prefer to keep your pets routine as consistent as possible to their current schedule so I will ask about their feeding times and preferred activities. ● DAYCARE - 7:00AM - 7:00PM Early and/or late drop off/pick up times are subject to additional fees. ● BOARDING - Drop off as early as 7:00AM (or a pre-arranged earlier time as I try to accommodate individual needs as early as 5:00 am and such) with pick up within 2 hours of the drop off time on the day of departure. Pick up times outside of the 2 hour drop off will most likely result in a half day or rate or full day rate as Rover.com automatically calculates the rates. ***Arrangements can be made for different boarding needs such as later arrival for which a later pick up time on the departure day would be appropriate. I'm super flexible and can most likely accommodate last minute changes and unforseen circumstances. I want to minimize any worries for you and your fur babies. ❤️🐕 Rest assured that your dogs safety and security is a priority. Also, crate trained or the ability for your pet to be crated is preferred (exceptions can be made) to ensure your pets safety while unattended & to reduce the likelihood of any harmful events occurring. I am home full-time but there may be instances where I may need to run a quick errand, shower, etc. that may require for me to be away for a short time. When I'm at home your pup will have access to roam freely throughout the space.

About: I've had dogs and cats since I was a child and took full time care of them. For the last three years I've worked in the animal care field. My most recent experience and main asset was a role at an animal hospital as a receptionist and co-manager of their boarding facility. This required addressing any and all pet needs including administering medication, bathing, providing meals at designated times and most fulfilling to me, lots of play time. Caring for your babies brings me much pride and joy! I'm currently in between jobs and am looking for something fulfilling to take up some of my free time as well as get some exercise, fresh air and added animal companionship. Once working full time I will still be available in evenings and weekends. I live in an apartment so that makes the care I would want to provide to my dog not up to par. While serving on active duty, I consistently walked and cared for dogs for about six years. I’ve also house sat with pets for extended periods, with my longest stay being two weeks. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, with drop offs starting at 10 AM. I’m able to provide consistent supervision since I work from home. My community has two dog parks, a dog spa, and a great walking trail, so there are plenty of options for exercise and enrichment. Percy Warner Park is also about four miles away for longer walks and outdoor time. I have two cats at home, so I’m mindful about safe introductions and making sure every animal is comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and care routine as closely as possible. I’ll even run your dogs if needed!

About: After growing up with large and small dogs, working on farms, and volunteering at local shelters, I don't think there is a type of dog I haven't met and loved! As a dog owner myself, I know pet sitters are just about as important as childcare!
