Drop off and pick up: ***All dogs must be on a leash at drop off as we have free range chickens on the property. All dogs will be on a leash at pick up to load into your car. Drop off and pick up hours 8 am-10 am and 4-6 pm unless otherwise agreed upon between dog parents and host. Please notify us if you are going to be late and how late. Fees may apply for late drop off or pick up. New clients: If this is your first time staying at Autumn Valley Dog Retreat, we require a meet and greet within 3 days of your booking request. If the M&G is not completed the request may be cancelled. If your requested stay is longer than a weekend for first time guest, we may request a client paid overnight trial before confirming a week or longer. Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. Dogs will be crated at night for sleeping. We gladly accept your personal crates while visiting or your personal beds or blankets. Please add any questions to your booking request! We look forward to meeting you. This summer I will be home enjoying our farm and dog retreat while on break from school schedule as a special education team member. We are a family of four with 2 beagles who will love and care and exercise your pups. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly medium sized dogs to keep your pup company. We will crate sleep the visiting dogs at night.

About: I have extensive experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, types, colors, and temperaments. I have owned dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a lizard. (I once had a pet worm in an animal cracker box. I thought he would like living in a little zoo.) For 7 years I took care of my disabled mom as well as 5 dogs and 2 cats. During that time, I also worked as a foster volunteer for Music City Pug Rescue–most of which were geriatric surrenders whose owners had passed away or moved into a nursing facility. While I questioned my own sanity at the time, looking back now, those were some of the very best days of my life! Today I only have one dog, Marley, (my lucky charm rescue–a Tibetan Terrier who was just hours away from euthanasia when I saw his picture online) and I am renting my home. So while I can't board your pets, I am happy to take care of them at their own home! Sadly I have lost pets to terrible chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes. I've been through two torn ACL surgeries, one hip surgery, blindness, deafness, and incontinence. My current pup, little Marley, has been paralyzed twice. The first time, I was able to afford an expensive back surgery. But when it happened again six months post-op, I rehabilitated him myself. Now, 6 years later, he's still walking! I thank God every morning and night for giving me another day with him. My experience caring for all of these dogs and their health problems means that I know how to care for their special needs. Whether it's taking a dog to weekly chemo treatments or giving him two shots of insulin each day, I am capable of caring for your pets and promise to do so just like they are my own. Whether it's for a few minutes, a few days, or even a few weeks, I would love to spoil your pet(s) with lots of hugs,and kisses. Not to mention walks, toys, fur brushings, head massages, playtimes, and treats–at your request, of course! Plu$, I am always willing to work with you on rates, so don't hesitate to make an offer. (While I have extended stay rates listed, I am open to discussing long-term or permanent services, too. Just ask!) I do have a small dog and I take him with me everywhere. So if you do need someone for overnight services at your home, I will be bringing him with me. I will treat your canine and/or feline fur babies (or scaly ones!) just like they're my own. Likewise, I will care for your home with respect and with the utmost confidentiality. I can be as discreet as you need me to be, or I can take your pets to visit their friends if that's what you want me to do. For at-home pet sitting, I will meet with you and your pets beforehand to give you peace of mind. We can get as detailed as you want. Whether you give me a typed document outlining their care plan, or just hand me a key and tell me when to stop by, I am happy to accommodate you either way!

About: Hello! I’m a single mother currently looking for some extra income and I can’t think of a better way to do that than to do it with furry friends! I work from home, so that makes it really easy to care for an extra pet when I can. I currently have two cats in my home, and they have their own space, so if your dog is unsure with cats, that would not be a big issue. I grew up in a home that always had multiple cats and at least one dog at a time. I have experience working with dogs with special needs (blind & feeding issues), small dogs, large dogs, young dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. I currently work from home, so my days are pretty flexible for walks and drop-ins. Working from home also leaves great flexibility with boarding, and helps ensure that your dog(s) will never be left for long amounts of time! I have a small fenced in yard, though it does not include grass, I do have a very big field nearby, which I’d be happy to run around with a dog (leashed). I have two cats, both of which are friendly with other animals. I do have a young son, but he is very respectful of pets and is with his dad every other weekend.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. I have lots of grass around my apartment and a big dog park for them to play. I also love going on walks with them and being active if that’s what they like!

If you have an older dog or a dog that doesn't love playing you can be confident they will still have a relaxing and quiet stay. If you're looking to wear out your pup for the day or just looking for an honest, reliable sitter then I am here! I also have a pond that all the dogs love to swim and play fetch in. I can ensure your dog will have a blast at my place! My pets are my children and are treated as such! My daily schedule works around them and their needs. I ensure that the pets in my care are happy, safe, and healthy (mind body and soul). I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I am all about whatever will make your pet most comfortable. Whether its spending more time outdoors and getting in some exercise or hanging around in the A/C snuggled up on the sofa! Currently working fully remote so I am home 5/7 days of the week. The other days I am only out for a few hours at a time! I also have the ability to take your pup with me to run errands if needed! Dogs can be crated if needed and also separated if needed. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.
