About: I have always been an animal lover and have grown up with dogs in my home. Neighbors, family and teachers/professors have relied on me to walk, feed and tire out their pets when they are out of town or gone for long periods of time. I have 2 dogs of my own and know how easy it is to worry about if they are okay when they are home for long durations of time without a check in or walk. I'm available after 3:30 Monday through Friday and anytime on Saturday and Sundays. Can also be available for lunch breaks on Monday, Thursday and Friday if needed. Depending on what the dog owners are comfortable with and if the space permits, I love to play in fenced in backyards to tire out fur babies (fetch, tug of war, chase, etc). I also love a good walk with lots of sniff and potty breaks!

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 9 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

About: I have taken care of animals most of my life i am new the Rover community but I do have kennel technician experience and dog bather experience along with drop by visits. I do have to walk or be driven by my mother since I don't have a license and or car because I have epilepsy and hydrocephalus. Despite my disabilities I am a very hard worker and always make sure the fur babies are safe and taken care of. I do have four dogs and a cat also. I have been around all sorts of dogs and or cats along with other animals so I don't scare easily and I am very patient with them. If you are willing to take a chance on me I will not let you down I wake up and take care of my five dogs as soon as I get up. Two of them take meds and I give it to them if my grandma doesn't do it for her two Goldens I let them outside feed them give them water give them their medicine and make sure they are taken care of. If something is wrong with one of them I will find it

About: I’ve been an animal person all my life and have always cohabitated with cats and dogs—I’ve been told I have good and calming energy with animals that makes them feel comfortable and secure with me. I have direct experience working in the animal care field at a local shelter; I facilitated dog and cat intakes, run dog playgroups & performed behavioral assessments. While managing the kennel, feeding schedules, special care and enrichment activities are important to me! I have direct experience administering vaccines, medication, and completing health assessments from newborn dogs and cats to seniors/palliative care. Gentle hands, warmth and kindness are important to me when handling animals. I take care of my own cats, dogs and chickens each day—working in the shelter environment it was a full time job, caring for animals. I hope to move into a more flexible routine caring for animals that aligns with my lifestyle. I will care for your animals just like how I care for my own. Maintain feeding schedules, exercise needs and balanced play/relax time. I have no problem administering medications and special meals for your pets and meeting their standard of care!

About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life, I couldn’t imagine a household without pets. I enjoy all the time I have with these critters, and love to spend time with them and people alike! I hope I get the chance to meet you and your furbabies! I am currently home from college on break, so I am mostly free! I have my own car and the ability to get wherever need be. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I grew up with dogs and currently have two cats of my own, so animals have always been a big part of my life. While serving on active duty, I consistently walked and cared for dogs for about six years. I’ve also house sat with pets for extended periods, with my longest stay being two weeks. I’m comfortable with animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, keep up with established routines, and give your pets plenty of attention while you’re away. I also take house sitting seriously and will treat your home and animals with the same care and respect I would want for my own. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m excited to get back into it and spend more time caring for animals again. I work from home, which makes pet care easy to fit into my daily routine and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, with drop offs starting at 10 AM. I’m able to provide consistent supervision since I work from home. My community has two dog parks, a dog spa, and a great walking trail, so there are plenty of options for exercise and enrichment. Percy Warner Park is also about four miles away for longer walks and outdoor time. I have two cats at home, so I’m mindful about safe introductions and making sure every animal is comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and care routine as closely as possible. I’ll even run your dogs if needed!

About: I have experience caring for cats, including those with anxiety and overgrooming. I currently care for my own cat and focus on keeping a calm, consistent environment. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs/cats since i was itty bitty. I’ve had a love for animals my whole life and will always care for them. They are my pride and joy :) I always play with the babies and help them feel welcomed and loved. I wouldn’t want them to feel anxious because the owner isn’t there so i will do my best to make them feel safe :) I love to spend quality time so I can build a connection with your fur baby ! I work at The Carillon Apartments in Germantown from 9:0Cam-6:00pm, Monday through Friday, and occasionally work Saturdays from 10:00am-5:00pm. My schedule is usually pretty set, but I do get an hour lunch break, so if needed, I may be able to stop by during my lunch break depending on the location and timing. I usually come with one of my sisters or my boyfriend for safety and comfort, and they may also attend the meet and greet so you can feel comfortable knowing there will be someone else there as well. They work too, so there may be times when the pup is alone for a little bit, but hopefully not for too long. We can always talk more about the schedule and your pup's routine during the meet and greet! If my work schedule ever conflicts with your pup's needs, please let me know ahead of time and I'll do my best to see if I can arrange time off or make other accommodations when possible. I always love spending quality time with the babies and helping them feel comfortable, safe, welcomed, and loyed, I would never want your pup to feel anxious or uncomfortable while their owner is away, so l'il do my best to give them lots of attention and make them feel right at home :) always play with the babies and help them feel welcomed and loved.! wouldn't want them to feel anxious because the owner isn't there so i will do my best to make them feel (safe:) For my safety/comfortability i always bring my siblings(or boyfriend) with me to any of my sittings, whether its 1 of them or all three. i also love to spend quality time so l can build a connection with your fur baby! Your baby will be in great hands <3
