I have over 20 years of dog fostering experience with Big Fluffy Fog Rescue, and currently have two of my own dogs and three horses at home. I would love to let your pup join our little pack! I offer a private climate controlled area for your dog(s) to feel safe and relaxed. Crating is available, but some of my more mature canine friends prefer a nice dog bed and cot if they so choose. About: I have extensive experience with pets of all shapes, sizes, ages, breeds, types, colors, and temperaments. I have owned dogs, cats, turtles, frogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, and a lizard. (I once had a pet worm in an animal cracker box. I thought he would like living in a little zoo.) For 7 years I took care of my disabled mom as well as 5 dogs and 2 cats. During that time, I also worked as a foster volunteer for Music City Pug Rescue–most of which were geriatric surrenders whose owners had passed away or moved into a nursing facility. While I questioned my own sanity at the time, looking back now, those were some of the very best days of my life! Today I only have one dog, Marley, (my lucky charm rescue–a Tibetan Terrier who was just hours away from euthanasia when I saw his picture online) and I am renting my home. So while I can't board your pets, I am happy to take care of them at their own home! Sadly I have lost pets to terrible chronic illnesses like cancer and diabetes. I've been through two torn ACL surgeries, one hip surgery, blindness, deafness, and incontinence. My current pup, little Marley, has been paralyzed twice. The first time, I was able to afford an expensive back surgery. But when it happened again six months post-op, I rehabilitated him myself. Now, 6 years later, he's still walking! I thank God every morning and night for giving me another day with him. My experience caring for all of these dogs and their health problems means that I know how to care for their special needs. Whether it's taking a dog to weekly chemo treatments or giving him two shots of insulin each day, I am capable of caring for your pets and promise to do so just like they are my own. About: Hello! I’m a single mother currently looking for some extra income and I can’t think of a better way to do that than to do it with furry friends! I work from home, so that makes it really easy to care for an extra pet when I can. I currently have two cats in my home, and they have their own space, so if your dog is unsure with cats, that would not be a big issue. I grew up in a home that always had multiple cats and at least one dog at a time. I have experience working with dogs with special needs (blind & feeding issues), small dogs, large dogs, young dogs, puppies, and senior dogs. I currently work from home, so my days are pretty flexible for walks and drop-ins. Working from home also leaves great flexibility with boarding, and helps ensure that your dog(s) will never be left for long amounts of time! I have a small fenced in yard, though it does not include grass, I do have a very big field nearby, which I’d be happy to run around with a dog (leashed). I have two cats, both of which are friendly with other animals. I do have a young son, but he is very respectful of pets and is with his dad every other weekend.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and grew up helping care for dogs of all sizes and breeds. My dad owns a farm, so I’m very comfortable around larger dogs, including our Bernese Mountain Dog and two German Shepherd mixes, while also caring for smaller breeds like my Yorkie. Over the years, I’ve helped with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and everyday care, so I’m confident handling different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog-sat multiple times for family friends, many of whom have continued to use my services year after year, which I believe speaks to my reliability and trustworthiness. In addition, I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including senior dogs and households with different types of animals, such as dogs and birds together. These experiences have made me patient, attentive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about caring for animals. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. I’ve also grown up around animals my whole life, so feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and checking in on pets are already a normal part of my day. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I’ve had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. My first childhood pet was a sweet dachshund named Greta. In my adulthood, I have been caring for my own pets for the past 26 years. We love to have our dogs Bertie and Chester near us wherever we are, indoors and outdoors. More recently, we have welcomed two incredible cats, Belle and Zesty, into our family as well. In my experience, having pets truly makes life better. I would welcome spending time with your pet, whether in your home or out on a walk, and would care for them as I would one of the pets in my own family. I am taking some sabbatical time away from my full-time profession, so I have lots of time and energy available to care for your furry friends (as well as my own dogs and cats). You can depend on me being detail-oriented and conscientious; I will stick closely to the instructions you share with me about how best to provide for your pet’s needs while you are away (as regards schedule for feeding, cat litter box tending, dogs being taken outside, medications to administer, and so on). As someone who has entrusted my own pets to the care of sitters over the years, I understand the importance of making sure my clients’ dogs and cats get lots of loving care and undivided attention, in addition to providing for their physical needs.
About: I have taken care of animals most of my life i am new the Rover community but I do have kennel technician experience and dog bather experience along with drop by visits. I do have to walk or be driven by my mother since I don't have a license and or car because I have epilepsy and hydrocephalus. Despite my disabilities I am a very hard worker and always make sure the fur babies are safe and taken care of. I do have four dogs and a cat also. I have been around all sorts of dogs and or cats along with other animals so I don't scare easily and I am very patient with them. If you are willing to take a chance on me I will not let you down I wake up and take care of my five dogs as soon as I get up. Two of them take meds and I give it to them if my grandma doesn't do it for her two Goldens I let them outside feed them give them water give them their medicine and make sure they are taken care of. If something is wrong with one of them I will find it

About: I'm a big dog person, and I frequently take care of my family's dog while they're away. While I was in college, I often dog-sat for a family friend, staying in their home and taking care of their pet. I'm home for the summer before heading to graduate school, and would love to spend some time with animals! This summer, I am home for a while with completely open days. I'm happy to take on summer holidays or help with mid-day walks, etc. I love to let animals spend their time outside in a safe way, either with a fence or on a leash. I'm also happy to hang out indoors if the dog prefers, and ensure everything is taken care of!

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 7 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. About: Hello! My name is Karen and I've been an avid and passionate animal lover my entire life. I have over 20 years of dog fostering experience with Big Fluffy Fog Rescue, and currently have two of my own dogs and three horses at home. I would love to let your pup join our little pack! I offer a private climate controlled area for your dog(s) to feel safe and relaxed. Crating is available, but some of my more mature canine friends prefer a nice dog bed and cot if they so choose. The space includes direct access to a fenced in yard with plenty of opportunity for outside! I am a full time remote employee, so I am here all the time. We have potty breaks as needed, with tons of supervised outside time! I offer a private inclusive area for friends, as well as lots of outside time with or without canine friends! There are cats and horses so if your friend has a high prey drive this wouldn't be the best place.
