About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 9 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

I’m currently working from home and have availability during the day and I am available to watch your pets overnight in the comfort of your home. About: I’ve taken care of hundreds of dogs over the past 2 years, all of different ages and sizes, with different needs. From walking, transporting, playing, supervising playtime, cuddling, cleaning, and assisting those in need, I am capable of doing just about anything you need for your fur baby. (Worked at Greymont kennel services and Chasing Tail Pet Farm, have done pet sitting off of rover, and have owned multiple dogs of different age/size, with different limitations) I have work from 0500-1630 but I’m still available on weekends can still work around those times I just need to be able to make it to work on time!! In your home, your pets comfort and safety are a top priority, as is respecting your space. Your home will always be left as it was found if not better, and your pets won’t be lonely with me around!

About: I’ve been an animal person all my life and have always cohabitated with cats and dogs—I’ve been told I have good and calming energy with animals that makes them feel comfortable and secure with me. I have direct experience working in the animal care field at a local shelter; I facilitated dog and cat intakes, run dog playgroups & performed behavioral assessments. While managing the kennel, feeding schedules, special care and enrichment activities are important to me! I have direct experience administering vaccines, medication, and completing health assessments from newborn dogs and cats to seniors/palliative care. Gentle hands, warmth and kindness are important to me when handling animals. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I grew up with dogs and currently have two cats of my own, so animals have always been a big part of my life. While serving on active duty, I consistently walked and cared for dogs for about six years. I’ve also house sat with pets for extended periods, with my longest stay being two weeks. I’m comfortable with animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, keep up with established routines, and give your pets plenty of attention while you’re away. I also take house sitting seriously and will treat your home and animals with the same care and respect I would want for my own. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m excited to get back into it and spend more time caring for animals again. I work from home, which makes pet care easy to fit into my daily routine and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, with drop offs starting at 10 AM. I’m able to provide consistent supervision since I work from home. My community has two dog parks, a dog spa, and a great walking trail, so there are plenty of options for exercise and enrichment. Percy Warner Park is also about four miles away for longer walks and outdoor time. I have two cats at home, so I’m mindful about safe introductions and making sure every animal is comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and care routine as closely as possible. I’ll even run your dogs if needed!

About: I have taken care of puppies, kittens, senior pups, cats, and those in the middle ages! I can accommodate frequent feeding/ walking/ water refill/ medication schedules if I am staying overnight. I am familiar with pet meds and physical therapy needs after helping my own baby through FHO surgery. I am happy to go on longer walks and spend time outside with your baby or just give lots and lots of pets! I can accommodate special needs or abilities, please just be detailed in your request and care routines. I’m available all day for overnight house sitting! For drop-in visits and dog walks, my schedule is open to your needs and even late night! Whether I’m staying overnight or coming by for daily visits, I focus on keeping your pet’s normal routine intact so they feel safe, calm, and loved. -In Your Home (Overnight & Drop-ins): I follow their feeding, potty, and medication schedules, clean up any messes immediately, and respect your house rules. I ensure all doors and gates remain secure during walks and backyard time. -Love & Engagement: I spend dedicated quality time playing, walking, and cuddling so they never feel lonely while you're away. -Clear Communication: You’ll get detailed daily check-ins with photo and video updates, giving you total peace of mind that your home and pets are in caring hands.

About: I’ve grown up with animals all my life, I couldn’t imagine a household without pets. I enjoy all the time I have with these critters, and love to spend time with them and people alike! I hope I get the chance to meet you and your furbabies! I am currently home from college on break, so I am mostly free! I have my own car and the ability to get wherever need be. I am very passionate about instilling trust in people and animals, I think that is the most important part about working with a pet. Trusting the animal and then trusting you is a great first step to a good bond :)

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind (including special needs) since I was very young, from having my own to walking and feeding neighbor’s dogs or caring for them when they went away. My first job was at a Doggy Daycare and I have worked as a groomer and had my own Pet Care business for 10 years in Massachusetts up until I just moved to Nashville in June. About: Hey, my name is Matt! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, chickens, goats, horses, and cattle. I grew up on a farm in Alaska. I am self employed and have a great degree of flexibility on work location. I can spend time with your pets and schedule my work around your pet’s needs. I will meet with you in-person prior to booking so that I can meet you and your pets and take detailed notes about needs and expectations during my stay.

About: I have taken care of animals most of my life i am new the Rover community but I do have kennel technician experience and dog bather experience along with drop by visits. I do have to walk or be driven by my mother since I don't have a license and or car because I have epilepsy and hydrocephalus. Despite my disabilities I am a very hard worker and always make sure the fur babies are safe and taken care of. I do have four dogs and a cat also. I have been around all sorts of dogs and or cats along with other animals so I don't scare easily and I am very patient with them. If you are willing to take a chance on me I will not let you down I wake up and take care of my five dogs as soon as I get up. Two of them take meds and I give it to them if my grandma doesn't do it for her two Goldens I let them outside feed them give them water give them their medicine and make sure they are taken care of. If something is wrong with one of them I will find it

About: My dogs have been my best friends my entire life! For the past 4 years, I have trained and fostered mobility service dogs, providing experience with many tools and training styles. I spent 2.5 years fostering a service dog from puppyhood to placement as a full-time service dog. I also have experience working with dog reactive dogs and puppies. I work in schools during the day, so I will be able to care for your pet early mornings and late afternoons/evenings. I am also available for Friday-Sunday dog sitting. Your dog's safety and wellness will always be my priority! I have a lot of experience and knowledge with dog body language, so I will do my best to keep your pup relaxed and happy. A happy dog is an enriched dog, so I will work to give your dog mental and physical enrichment.

I'm available anytime. Anytime during the week. Anytime on the weekend. For piece of mind know your pup will never be left alone. In a client's home I care for pets as they would regularly be cared for by their owner. I would try to keep their daily routine as they know it. From their daily walks to their time they eat. Whatever the owner prefers, I go by their instructions.

About: Huge animal and dog lover with a baby of my own wanting to help out other families when they need and ease there mind that their dog well taken care of I work hybrid currently and i am in the office only 2 days a week and home from wed-monday with an east schedule to make sure your fur baby stays in their routine I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets are treated like part of the family. I live in a house with a fenced patio and plenty of areas for dogs to play, explore, and get exercise. I make sure each pet receives lots of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, and plenty of cuddles while following their normal feeding and care routine.
