About: I am a Certified Veterinary Assistant (CVA), Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, and Fear Free Certified. That word salad boils down to: animals are my life. I foster over 150 animals per year for local rescues, and I am comfortable with whatever you throw at me. I’ve cared for 50g neonates all the way up to 120lb seniors and everything in between. I can offer basic grooming such as baths, brushing, nail trims, and ear cleanings. I am comfortable with medical needs such as medication administration, injections, bandage changes, diapering, and mobility limitations. Your pet’s well-being and safety are my priority. I also have experience with exotics, including reptiles, rodents, and birds. I work from home and homeschool my three children, as well as care for my own menagerie of pets. Caring for animals all day every day is so second nature to me that it's a simple addition to extend that care to others. I am comfortable accepting in-tact males, bully breeds, pets with behavioral issues, & pets with special needs. With over a decade of experience, I’ve seen it all and nothing can phase me! I am well equipped for any pet emergency situation, and am familiar with first-aid for both dogs and cats. I'm very experienced in administering medications, including insulin injections. About: I have had pets all my life. I have 2 dogs and 1 cats they get a long with all their pet friends. We have regulars that come over for the holidays and vacations. My home is open to all pets no restrictions. We like to make it feel like home when they are here. I work from home so there is lots of love thru out the day and play time outside. We have a dog door so they can go outside when they want and come in when wanting to hang out in the A/C. Also there is a pool for pups to swim and have fun if they want. I am so super flexible with times and making it easier on everyone.

About: I’ve been an animal person all my life and have always cohabitated with cats and dogs—I’ve been told I have good and calming energy with animals that makes them feel comfortable and secure with me. I have direct experience working in the animal care field at a local shelter; I facilitated dog and cat intakes, run dog playgroups & performed behavioral assessments. While managing the kennel, feeding schedules, special care and enrichment activities are important to me! I have direct experience administering vaccines, medication, and completing health assessments from newborn dogs and cats to seniors/palliative care. Gentle hands, warmth and kindness are important to me when handling animals. I take care of my own cats, dogs and chickens each day—working in the shelter environment it was a full time job, caring for animals. I hope to move into a more flexible routine caring for animals that aligns with my lifestyle. I will care for your animals just like how I care for my own. About: I love dogs and have taken care of them all my life! I recently lost my companion of 12 years in April 2026, Finley, who passed onto the rainbow bridge due to old age. Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. Whether you have a Great Dane or a Pomeranian, I will care for your fur baby as if they were my own. Being a dog lover while no longer having one has been heartbreaking for me, but it also means that I now have the opportunity to hangout with your pup! :) I only ask for a week in advance notice and prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if we align. I work my day job Thursday through Sunday and am currently available for house sitting Sunday night through Thursday morning and drop-in visits M, T, W. I am available to come to your home or your dog is welcome to stay at mine! I live in a 900 Sq. Ft. apartment with plenty of space for a small or medium dog or a low activity older large breed. I have two orthopedic beds that are cleaned thoroughly after each stay and two dog bowls.

About: Hi, I'm Marissa! I'm one of those people who, before I came out of my shell, spent more time with animals than people. Sometimes I still do. I've had dogs and cats all my life, and also rode horses starting just before I was 4. I have 9 years of experience on Rover and another 2 independently dog walking and sitting before that. I’ve cared for many kinds of dogs and cats, fish, turtles, donkeys, a family of racoons, and more. And I have a lot of experience caring for older animals and animals with medical conditions. I also used to volunteer with my mom transporting rescue dogs with Echo Dog White German Shepherd rescue. I am a homebody for the most part, so once I'm there I'm probably not going anywhere. My capital W Work is writing - I'm 13 years into an elven magic realism epic screenplay/novel series, it is my passion project and pet/housesitting gives me the time to tend to that vision, and fur babies to keep me company! Walking and playing with them keeps me active and in my beloved nature. It is a great joy to give people peace of mind while they travel, knowing their home and furbabies are in good hands. I know how stressful it can be - I was born in the Northeast and then moved to Nashville when I was 12 so my mom and I would drive up there to visit family, but we would often bring our dog and cats with us on that 13 hr ride because we didn’t have anyone we trusted to watch them. It’s a great time, unless it’s a family emergency. Now, I get to be that person for other people! My clients relaxing, knowing that they can have fun or do what needs doing and that their fur babies are taken care of at home - that is priceless and never gets old. If you have 3 or more pets, I'm happy to give a discount. I know how hard it can be trying to find care for them when you have many. Feel free to reach out! Pets are family. I will make sure they receive the best care possible! I'm a night owl myself when I'm home but whatever their routine is, I will stick to that as much as I can. For dogs, walks are included in housesitting if you want that. And any plant and garden care etc. Totally depends on your and your pet's needs. I'm so excited to look after your fur baby!

I can accommodate frequent feeding/ walking/ water refill/ medication schedules if I am staying overnight. I am familiar with pet meds and physical therapy needs after helping my own baby through FHO surgery.
