“Malesa stayed with our two chihuahuas for 7 days. She was amazing, she even cooked for them! My puppies didn’t even miss us!! We are so grateful that she stayed with our puppies!”

“Jason really came to the rescue when the dog sitter I had scheduled cancelled days before my trip! The dogs loved him and everything went seamlessly. Highly recommend Jason and will definitely book him again!”

“Excellent sitter! Samantha spent the whole stay with my dogs and lavished attention on them giving them multiple walks every day. She was very responsible with our pets and home and communicated well with frequent updates. I feel comfortable in trusting her to take care of everything.”

“Thank you Dana for doing such a great job with our two dogs and cat. You house sat for us for three nights and four days. The dogs were extremely happy with the way you played ball with them and let our sweet baby Ren sleep in bed with you we went away out of state to our daughters graduation and you made the experience so comfortable by always responding and sending pictures of the babies while we were gone. I can see why you’re booked out for so long. We will definitely use you again in the future if we’re able to get into your busy calendar. But I understand why you’re so busy thank you so much.”

“Carol was excellent dog sitter who I would recommend to everyone. She took the time to understand our dogs needs (and tortoises) and text us updates to make sure we felt reassured. An ideal house guest - she kept the place spotless whilst we were away. Thanks carol - we will definitely use you again!!”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life and grew up helping care for dogs of all sizes and breeds. My dad owns a farm, so I’m very comfortable around larger dogs, including our Bernese Mountain Dog and two German Shepherd mixes, while also caring for smaller breeds like my Yorkie. Over the years, I’ve helped with feeding, walking, grooming, playtime, and everyday care, so I’m confident handling different personalities, energy levels, and routines. I’ve also dog-sat multiple times for family friends, many of whom have continued to use my services year after year, which I believe speaks to my reliability and trustworthiness. In addition, I have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including senior dogs and households with different types of animals, such as dogs and birds together. These experiences have made me patient, attentive, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about caring for animals. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m currently working part-time and have a flexible schedule. I’ve also grown up around animals my whole life, so feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and checking in on pets are already a normal part of my day. I enjoy being active and spending time outside, and I’m reliable when it comes to maintaining routines and making sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and well attended to. Safety, trust, and comfort are the most important parts of pet care to me. I make sure pets are always supervised, secure, and cared for in a calm and positive environment. I pay close attention to routines, behavior changes, feeding instructions, and any special needs to help pets feel comfortable and reduce stress while their owners are away. I also understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your pets and entering your home. I’m dependable, respectful, and communicative, and I always strive to treat every pet and home with care. Having experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and ages—including senior dogs—has taught me to be patient, attentive, and adaptable in different situations.

About: Dog and cat carer who truly believes each pet is a little soul that deserves special care. I’ve had several repeat customers and consider it an honor to care for your baby in the way they prefer! Flexible schedule! Recently retired with flexibility to work with your schedule. My goal is for your pet to feel well-cared for while you are away and for you to have the confidence of worry-free care when I’m with your pet. Ideally, I like to setup a meet and greet so I know all the details for your pet. I have a natural ability of putting animals at ease quickly.
About: I have experience caring for cats, including those with anxiety and overgrooming. I currently care for my own cat and focus on keeping a calm, consistent environment. I’m comfortable with feeding, litter box care, medications, and paying attention to behavior changes. I take time to build trust with each cat and always provide updates and photos. I also grew up with puppies. I have experienced walking, going potty, and playing! Pet care fits naturally into my routine, especially in the evenings and on weekends. I have a consistent schedule and am available Wednesday through Friday in the evenings and Saturdays during the day. I already care for my own cat daily, so feeding, cleaning, and spending quality time with pets is something I’m used to. I plan my schedule carefully to make sure each pet gets reliable, on-time care and attention. In a client’s home, I follow your cat’s normal routine to keep things as stress-free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, and playtime or quiet companionship depending on your cat’s personality. I take a calm, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious cats, and never force interaction. I also monitor behavior, administer medications if needed, and send regular updates with photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I grew up with dogs and started taking care of them at about age 12. I've also taken care of many friend's dogs over the years. I've stayed at their homes to care for them, walked them, and checked in on them. I love dogs and would love to meet and care for yours! I am a college student so pet care fits very well into my schedule since I have a lot of open gaps for walks and check ins! If my housesitting hours don’t fit what you need feel free to contact me and we can try to see if I can make it happen! I promise to care for your pet exactly how you ask. Mostly of course that's making sure they're fed, hydrated, walked, and let out to do their business! But also making sure they are happy and know I'm their friend.
“We were very happy with Andile and would absolutely book with her again! From the first meet and greet, she was warm, personable, and easy to talk to. Our corgi Merlin, who doesn't always warm up to new people right away, took to her immediately and quickly became her shadow during the stay. Merlin is still recovering from ACL surgery, so it was important to us to find someone who could be home with the pets most of the time. Andile was wonderful about that and gave us great peace of mind while we were away. She took excellent care of our three dogs and two cats and sent plenty of updates and photos. We came home to happy pets, a well-cared-for home, and the feeling that everything had gone smoothly while we were away. We highly recommend Andile and would not hesitate to book with her again. In fact, we tried to schedule her as she was heading out the driveway. We were sad she was going to be out of town the weekend we need her.”

About: As a responsible, middle-aged professional with a lifelong love of animals, I bring maturity, trustworthiness, and genuine care to every pet I look after. Whether you’re heading out for a few hours or a full vacation, you can count on me to treat your pet like they’re my own—with affection, structure, and plenty of playtime. I work from home, which means I can often adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs—whether that’s a midday walk, drop-in visit, or extended overnight care. I’m especially available on evenings and weekends, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate special requests. I’m very comfortable caring for pets in their home environment and understand the importance of respecting your space. I’m confident with crate-trained pets, administering basic medications, and making sure everything is secure when I leave. Cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail are always my priorities.

“We feel so fortunate to have had Hannah and Matt take such good care of our pet family this weekend. They are kind, detail oriented, and they checked in daily with lovely updates. They left the house even tidier than we left it, and they were an absolute pleasure to coordinate and communicate with. We will absolutely ask them to house/pet sit for us again soon!”

“Christian was wonderful with Gus! He kept me updated throughout, took Gus on his morning walks to the coffee shop, and clearly showered him with affection while I was away. I came home to a happy dog and a spotless house. I'd book him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - South Harpeth Area
Blaise and Kendall took good care of Wilson and Maggie. Wilson is pretty laid back while Maggie is a more energetic 7 month old puppy. They communicated with us regularly and sent lots of pictures. The morning after we returned, Maggie searched for them in our house showing us that she bonded well with them.

It was our first time house sitting with Rover and with Blaise. She came over and did a meet and greet before we confirmed, which was awesome. Our dogs had an amazing time and the house was spotless when we got back. Oh and sheets in the wash!!! Highly recommend and will be our go to sitter when we are out of town.
