“Elizabeth was so great with our dog and her dog George was a great playmate with Mila! She kept me informed throughout the day and sent us a great video. Looks like they had a photoshoot as the rover card had great pictures. Highly recommend!”

“Amanda took wonderful care of my Angel. Angel would get excited when I pulled into the driveway to see Amanda, wagging her tail & jumping up to look out the window - I will definitely use her again??”

“This was our first time having other folks watch Clemmie and we appreciate the care and photos! Megan and Kerry have a great set up, and our pup had fun playing! Excited to have her go back for more fun.”

“Luigi had tons of fun at daycare today, thanks Ashley! Loved seeing all the pictures taken throughout his day and happy to hear he did well on his leash/walks too :)”

“Taylor is amazing!!! She genuinely cared for Jackson. He was really sad when we left and she made him feel loved. When we returned, we could tell he had a great time with Taylor. We knew he trusted her when Taylor sent a picture of Jackson napping and he was lying upside down. He only does that when he trusts people. We will definitely reach out to Taylor again for day care.”

“Melissa was so good with Blue. He played well with Hudson and she sends lots of photos and updates. Her yard is the best we have ever experienced. Both her front and backyard are fully fenced with lots of shade and room to run and play. I will definitely be leaving Blue with Melissa and Hudson again.”

“Emily took wonderful care of my fur baby, Sugar, while we were visiting Nashville. She has a large fenced yard where the dogs can play, and I appreciated the extra safety measures she took. Emily put Sugar’s collar on in addition to her harness in case she somehow got loose, which showed me she was thinking ahead and treating Sugar like one of her own. Before I left, Emily carefully introduced Sugar to the other dogs and made sure everyone got along and that Sugar was comfortable. That gave me tremendous peace of mind. I felt completely comfortable leaving my girl in her care, and it was obvious Sugar was well loved and well cared for while we were away. I would happily trust Emily with Sugar again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and conscientious pet sitter.”

About: Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile. I love animals and have been a pet sitter and dog walker for five years. I specialize in energetic walks, fun doggy-play during the day, and loving supervision until you return home. I work from home and will ensure your pet gets a lot of attention. I offer the following services: *Walks: I can come by while you are at work or away to take your pet for a walk. Walks range from 30-60 minutes. I can walk up to two dogs at a time, and I can accommodate the level of speed your pet needs. I am trying to expand my walking services on Rover, as I have primarily been boarding, but I also have a lot of walking experience. *Drop-in: If you pet isn't a walker, I can come by and play with them and let them out to the bathroom. *Doggy Day Care: This service is perfect if you need pet care for just the day. I can host your pet at my home. *Boarding: NOTE due to high demand for this service, I am not accepting new clients at the moment. I live in West Nashville, in a townhome with a small fenced in yard. If your pet needs more exercise, we can go for a walk around my neighborhood or I have several parks within miles from house. Feel free to bring their favorite toy or bed, and crates are also welcome. I only board one pet at a time. If there are any behavioral issues I should be aware of, I trust the parent will tell me. *Pet Sitting: I can come to your home and sit for your pet. Meet and greets are available upon request. Thank you, and I look forward to meeting your pet! I work from home so I will make sure your pet will get a lot of attention and exercise throughout the day. There is always time for walks. I treat my clients pets like they are my own. Whether I’m watching them for a few days or just taking them for a walk, I will make sure they get plenty of exercise and attention.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and could not imagine life without them! Pets deserve all of the attention and love even when you’re gone. I understand the stress of having to leave your pup and can assure you they’ll be in great hands! We’ll go on walks, play throughout the day and snuggle at night. I work from home full time. I am here to hang with them and keep them busy while you are gone. I take my own pup on daily walks and Riley loves to have a friend around. I have lots of grass around my apartment and a big dog park for them to play. I also love going on walks with them and being active if that’s what they like!
“Jaxson had his first daycare visits with Julie and her sweet pup Ellie last week. Julie sent frequent videos and pictures to share in his escapades in settling in and giving and receiving love. The frequent updates made me SMILE HARD throughout my work day. It felt great knowing that he was was having a great time and getting some engagement instead of being home alone. Julie was such a great find, very close to work, she took special care in understanding his likes and dislikes which made Jaxson feel at ease with her and her family in no time! I will definitely continue to request her care of my fur angel!!”

“Janey was very accommodating to my Gracie. She was very kind and understanding of my situation and took her in pretty last minute. Gracie loved the stay with Janey!”

“Very easy to work with. Very flexible and responsive. Great location for downtown Nashville activities. My dog seemed to enjoy her doggy daycare! Would recommend and use again if I were in the area.”

“Teresa was super friendly, helpful, efficient, and flexible. She made our first time using Rover very comfortable. Coco loved taking a break from our crazy vacation to hang out while we toured some museums.”

“I definitely don’t want to recommend Cassie so I can have her all to myself but everyone should know how satisfied we were with our dog’s stay with her! She, and her dog Theo, were so good with our high energy pup. We loved the photos and videos of our and her dogs playing together, and appreciated her fenced-in yard her house provided. We will definitely be using Cassie for all of our Rover stays if she’s available.”

About: Dogs and cats are the center of my world! I have over 11 years of paid and volunteered hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets, including my own animals and those I’ve fostered through rescue organizations. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life but over the past 11 years I have volunteered at various animal shelters and provided the services offered on Rover through word-of-mouth and other platforms/websites! I have experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages—from newborns to seniors—and pets with medical conditions, special needs, and behavioral challenges. I also have experience with birds, rabbits, and some reptiles. My family owns a farm so I have experience providing care for farm animals as well! What sets me apart is my ability to quickly assess and adapt to each pet’s unique personality and requirements. I’m especially patient and attentive with nervous or reactive animals, and I’m experienced in administering medications, maintaining structured routines, and creating calm, secure environments for animals in transition. AND I just might take the cutest/funniest candid photos of your pet that you’ve ever seen. Check out my photo gallery of cute fur babies I’ve loved on! Fostering has also given me valuable experience with socialization, basic training, post-surgery care, and working with pets recovering from trauma or neglect. I genuinely love building trust with animals and helping them feel safe, which is something pet owners consistently appreciate when they leave their companions in my care. IMPORTANT NOTES: *Per request, and with Rover’s support, I have created an additional fees menu. Additional fees allow me to serve a larger population of clients and provide more specialized services (e.g. long distance, around the clock housesitting, 90-120 min walks or drop-ins). Long distance fee- +$20 per visit for 15-24 miles away and +$35 per visit if 25-35 miles away (this will differ if the booking is housesitting) 90 min visit- +$16 2 hour visit- +$30 24/7 house sitting (I will only leave your pet in the event of a personal emergency)- x2 the booking cost of traditional house sitting; for traditional house sitting we will discuss a plan that you’re comfortable with for how often I will leave your pet(s), and how long they will be left alone. **Meet and greets strongly suggested/required in some cases if: A) You have a pet with extreme anxiety, behavioral issues, or unknown reactions to being left in the care of a new person. B) You live in an apartment complex—mainly if you’ve been told your complex is difficult to navigate. I want your pet to have all of their first visit spent with me there. If I have a commitment that would prevent me from being able to spend extra time with them, I won’t be able to give them a whole 30 min (or hour if that’s what you are booking) if I’m unable to locate your apartment. C) You have particularly unique preferences for your pet’s care. I love detailed instructions, actually I prefer this. I would love to get a feel for and see what this will look like during the meet and greet though. ***as of 2/20/26 I will have moved from Franklin, TN 37069 to Nashville, TN 37215. Availability to repeat clients (without an additional distance fee) is contingent on driving time to your location. **** if you find any part of the booking is not meeting your standards/expectations, please communicate this to me so I can adjust the issue or potentially request a refund via customer support for that visit. I strive to individualize care to match the needs of every client. Furthermore, I want my clients to always feel heard and supported. *****Boarding and day care information if you have a medium to giant size dog, pets who don’t react well to cats, and/or you prefer a yard and large quantities of exercise during the booking: My family owns a large property and farm about 10 minutes from my apartment. I am able to stay there in their guest house with your pets rather than board them at my apartment. This is honestly preferable for any large dog/dogs who become activated around other dogs, mainly because my complex is heavily populated by dog owners and we would encounter other dogs each time we go outside. I can still board larger and/or reactive dogs, dogs who don’t mix well with cats, and dogs requiring extra exercise. ____________ More about me (if you’re curious): -Outside of pet care I am a licensed social worker (non-practicing at the moment) and a part time esthetician student. My social work career mostly includes providing individual or group mental health therapy, and case management for individuals experiencing homelessness, previously incarcerated, and/or with mental health and substance use disorders. As you can probably imagine, shifting towards Rover and esthetician school has been a major change! -During my free time I love working out—Pilates, barre, & running/walking. I’m relatively athletic so I can provide exercise tailored to each pet’s needs. With pets whose owners would prefer more exercise, I am able to provide more fast paced exercise, such as speed walking or jogging. And you’ll never have to worry if your dog happens to be a larger dog and/or pulls on the leash. Still haven’t met a dog I haven’t been able to walk! -I’m very big on volunteer work since I am not currently practicing social work. I have a very nurturing side, and while I’m so excited to become an esthetician, I would love to still be engaged in service of others. Right now I am developing an outline for a “pay what you can” farm-to-table service using the products of my family’s farm. Also in progress is an incorporation of my skincare, beauty, and wellness services into a larger ministry that serves survivors of trafficking, addiction, and/or DV. -During my free time I also enjoy binging thrillers and crime dramas during my free time. I’ve been getting into true crime podcasts. So yes, I’ll most likely be listening to Dateline while driving to our meet and greet at your house when I’ve never met you before. As if I need to be any more nervous about that part of this job! Happy to do it though. I love this job. But if you do happen to want to meet at a dog park or coffee place, I won’t object! - I’m a Nashville native and the oldest of four kids in my family. I’m a bit of an extroverted introvert. I enjoy my alone time and being home as much as possible. But if you bring me around social situations, I could talk to just about anyone about anything. - I have a baby kitten, older kitten who is almost an adult, and a senior kitty that live with me full time. I have a senior (family) dog that lives with me a few months out of the year when my parents snowbird in Florida. I commute to a night school M-Th 5:30pm-10pm and work another job remotely. Rover is my main obligation outside of school and I prioritize my rover bookings over most things. Alongside client satisfaction, self-care is imperative to me. While I am finishing school over the next few months, I typically will not accept early morning bookings unless there is flexibility with the times. However, I am able to offer late night visits on days off from school due to my routine sleep schedule. Quite a few of my repeat clients work night shifts and I’ve provided care for their pets between 11pm-4am. I try to avoid committing to any visits between 5am-10am so that I can keep a consistent sleep schedule, and be punctual for you! When caring for pets, safety is always my top priority. I carefully follow all instructions from the owner, including dietary needs, medications, walking preferences, and any behavioral considerations. I have gained a good amount of experience over the last few years in the area of taking care of senior pets and pre-adoption pets. My pup, Pasco, is currently receiving medications and palliative care, so I have personally experience in this area. Before adopting my kitten, Ocean, I recently fostered three pre-adopted kittens that needed bottle-feeding and gentle help with passing stool. I make sure the home environment is pet-proofed—keeping hazards like wires, cleaning products, and choking risks out of reach. I also monitor pets closely for any signs of distress, illness, or unusual behavior and will notify the owner immediately if anything seems off. Building trust with both the pet and their owner is equally important. I take time to get to know each animal’s temperament, routines, and comfort zones so they feel safe and secure in my presence. Whether in my home or theirs, I maintain a calm, structured environment, offer plenty of positive attention, and create a consistent routine that pets can rely on. Regarding trust and safety, as a sitter I also request that you disclose any video and/or audio surveillance inside your home before officially booking with me. It goes against Rover’s guidelines (and federal law) to not disclose indoor surveillance. In today’s world, 90% of clients I work with have some form of video surveillance. As an owner myself who also hires Rover sitters to care for my pets, I understand completely and have never not booked with a client due to disclosed video surveillance. For in-home services, I’m respectful of the client’s space—leaving things clean and secure, and keeping communication open with daily updates, photos, and check-ins so the owner feels confident their pet is in good hands.
“Terri Jo did a great job taking care of Murphy for several hours on Saturday and Sunday. Murphy caused some problems by barking at Terri Jo's cats, but she solved the problem by separating them. Murphy loved playing with Terri Jo's dog, Daisy. Terri Jo was flexible in accommodating our schedule. It was a good experience for us.”

Lauren and Cam were amazing with my pup Tilly! This was the second time I’ve dropped Tilly off with them. They cared for her like their own. Tilly enjoyed going on a mini Easter Egg Hunt, walking to the park, and playing with Bailey and Grover. I arrived to pick her up and she was ready for a good nights rest. Highly recommend Lauren and Cameron!

Brittany is probably the first person outside my immediate family who just gets exactly what I’m looking for when I’m entrusting someone with my most precious companion. She set up a call to get to know us, did a meet and greet to make sure everyone was comfortable, kept me completely updated throughout Ashe’s daycare, and just made the whole process so easy. I always worry leaving Ashe with anyone, especially someone new, and trust isn’t earned easily with me, but I felt from day 1 that Brittany and I were on the same page. Leaving him for the first time wasn’t easy, but I felt comfortable and, as a helicopter dog mom, that’s legit the highest compliment I can give. We’re already booked for our next visit and I feel really lucky with Brittany and her precious Bailey!

We were looking for someone to look after Toby (8 year old male schnauzer) and we are so, so glad that we found Ryan! From the start and throughout, Ryan was friendly and communicative. On the day, Ryan was incredibly gracious and flexible when we got caught in traffic on the way to picking up Toby. Toby seemed happy and relaxed when we picked him up, and we couldn't be happier ourselves. We highly recommend Ryan and look forward to reaching out to him the next time we're back in town 😊😊
