I’ve lived in West Nashville for 16 years and been sitting dogs for over 10 of them. As a songwriter I work from home alot , which means your dog is actually with me — not waiting alone for a check-in. At home I have Daisy Duke, my 9-year-old pup, and three kitties , so your dog is walking into a house that already knows how to love animals. There’s a big yard, a quiet street, and a genuinely calm vibe. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities over the years. and i have clients I’ve loved for 9 years. I’ll send photos, keep you in the loop, and treat your dog like my own. 🐾

Terri Jo did a great job taking care of Murphy for several hours on Saturday and Sunday. Murphy caused some problems by barking at Terri Jo's cats, but she solved the problem by separating them. Murphy loved playing with Terri Jo's dog, Daisy. Terri Jo was flexible in accommodating our schedule. It was a good experience for us.
Terri Jo was wonderful! She treated my goosey like her own and spent a lot of time playing outside with him. My dog goose and her dog Daisy made fast friends! Will definitely be reaching out to Terri Jo again!
Terri was amazing with my little Scout! She was very flexible on drop off & pick up times! She helped me with my last minute request and made going away stress-free!
Terri Jo, was communicative and very accommodating. Our little guy came home exhausted from all the fun he had. We can't thank her enough for taking care of him, and for being so great.
Terri Jo was awesome. I was nervous about how the dogs would behave, but she put me at ease and obviously connected quickly to them. She sent me a text and a picture daily to let me know all was well. Terri Jo is a very kind, positive person who took wonderful care of my dogs. Would highly recommend!!!

Schedule
As a songwriter I have a flexible schedule, which means no 9-5 hours so you baby is not alone waiting for someone to stop by. I’m available most days and can discuss specific dates when you reach out.

My home is on a quiet, low-traffic street in Hillwood with a large yard. No fence, so your dog is always supervised outside — I prefer it that way. I have a dog and three cats, so your pup will be comfortable around other animals. I strive to treat every dog as an individual, paying attention to their personality and needs from day one.
Pets
A typical day
Most days start with yard time and a neighborhood walks or trips to a nearby park. Hillwood is a great area for sniffing around. During the day your dog hangs out with me , which means lots of company and attention. We’ll play in the yard, chill on the couch, and just generally have a low-key good day. It’s more like having a friend’s dog over than a formal boarding situation.
