About: I have experience with my own childhood dog, Maisy (she’s on my profile picture!) and have been her primary caregiver everytime my mom has gone on a business trip. I have stayed overnight with a chihuahua for weeks at a time on multiple occasions, have a family friend that i sit for with 2 senior dogs and fish, and have checked in on a sweet calico every summer for the past few years! I have experience with various ages, sizes, and needs- I’ve even watched a gecko! About: I’m just a guy who loves pets and loves walking! I currently have a sweet Bernese Mountain Dog named Heidi who’s almost 2 and a quirky Exotic Shorthair cat named Humphrey who’s 6! I grew up with cats so I’ve been taking care of cats my whole life. I’m known for being a very responsible and responsive person. You can trust me to take care of your pets without worry. I’m doing this as a side gig as I have a full time job so I prefer to keep my gigs within my neighborhood (Hillwood) or nearby and outside of normal working hours (8 am to 5 pm) but I can be flexible with enough of a heads up. To be completely honest, I have never “professionally” cared for pets, so if your pets require special care, I will probably not be your best choice. I’m not trained in performing special care on any animals. However, if you just need someone responsible and relatively cheap to check in on your pets, I’m your guy! If your pets like friends then I can bring Heidi or Humphrey with as well!

About: I’ve lived in a home with dogs my entire life. Many different breeds with different needs and personalities. I currently am the care taker and owner of a Golden Retriever in which the fire department I work for trust me to take care of. I’m a firefighter and so I work 48 hours on and 96 hours off. I only work 2 days a week and I have spare time to come take care of animals on a fairly consistent basis. I live in an apartment complex that’s very animal friendly with plenty of space to walk around and be active. Making sure their water bowl was full, feeding them when my parents couldn't, taking them out to let them sunbathe or just frolic, playing with them, and taking them on walks. They cared for our dog, Ladybird, and our cat, Frida, for five whole months while we moved across the country. That alone deserves a standing ovation. But what really blew us away was how they did it. We hadn’t even arrived in our new city when they met our pets at the airport—like long-lost family—then brought them straight into their home. From day one, Ladybird and Frida were treated like their own children, lavished with love, attention, and the kind of kindness you can’t fake. I got photo updates all the time (the kind that make you grin and maybe tear up a little), and not once—not once—did I worry. It was as if our pets had been adopted by the best neighbors you could imagine, except with way more snuggles. About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats for years. I’m the friend who everyone else leaves their pets with when they go on trips :) My husky Raya keeps us active with daily walks and weekend hikes — your dog is always welcome to join For cat owners - I’m cat lady at heart, have had 4+ cats since I was 10, and would love to meet yours. My work schedule is very flexible, I will be able to keep your fur baby company, and attend to any special needs they might have. I have a couple of dog parks all around me for the pups to run around and play and a large crate available if preferred.
