Pet care experience

Always putting your baby first

I’ve taken care of many dog breeds for years, including raising my own baby from 8 weeks old. I am a major helicopter mom for him, and would expect nothing else from you! I promise to listen to your instructions, and constantly provide photos and videos to give you peace of mind that they are in the best hands. Safety and comfort are my top priority, and you will never have to worry about calling or texting too much - it’s scary to leave them with someone new I get it!

Brittany is probably the first person outside my immediate family who just gets exactly what I’m looking for when I’m entrusting someone with my most precious companion. She set up a call to get to know us, did a meet and greet to make sure everyone was comfortable, kept me completely updated throughout Ashe’s daycare, and just made the whole process so easy. I always worry leaving Ashe with anyone, especially someone new, and trust isn’t earned easily with me, but I felt from day 1 that Brittany and I were on the same page. Leaving him for the first time wasn’t easy, but I felt comfortable and, as a helicopter dog mom, that’s legit the highest compliment I can give. We’re already booked for our next visit and I feel really lucky with Brittany and her precious Bailey!

I literally can’t thank Brittany enough. Brittany is truly an angel and sent me videos, photos, and updates every day during my two week trip to Europe. I was so nervous at the beginning of this process, but at the very start Brittany called me and gathered information about my dog. Our call discussed his routine, medical needs, care details, etc. She was organized, compiled the information into a spreadsheet, and kept track of everything while I was away. She made my dog Lucas feel so safe and loved, and was kind to me in the process. I can’t recommend Brittany enough to everyone!!

Brittany is the best!! She is very thorough when it comes to learning about your pup! I am very particular about who cares for my sweet girl but I never had a doubt when it came to Brittany! I can’t recommend her enough.

She showed up like a professional. Took notes from our phone call and had me sign. This showed me she really wanted to understand my wants and dog’s needs before she showed up. Thanks. Would use again.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

I take care of my baby every day while balancing a full time WFH job, so I am very used to balancing potty breaks with meetings. My dog, and yours, are the priority before I commit to any plans. Every dog has different needs, so you will be absolutely in the know 100% of the time.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in an apartment
Does not have a yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs not allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 0-2 hours

Safety, trust & environment

Before you leave your pet with me, or I come to you for the formal sitting, we would do a meet and greet so you can tell me your needs, their needs, and all the specifics. Safety comes first, and I want all parties including myself to feel comfortable to provide the best possible experience. I would rather get 100 questions and have you feeling great, then have anyone nervous to ask and then walking away feeling nervous. These are our babies!!

Pets

A typical day

This all depends on the dog. We can do mental and/or physical enrichment/exercise like snuffle mats/frozen treats in toys or running around a dog park/ going for a long walk. Just depends on owner preferences and weather.

Dogs over 1 year old
I would like to know everything I can, including their dietary restrictions, allergies, vet information, and if/how friendly they are to other people and dogs both on and off lease. Safety is the top priority at all times. Also any quirks - does your pet not like the harness over their head, do they hate a certain breed, etc
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
