About: I have been volunteering at a dog shelter for the past 4 years and it has been wonderful, I got to indulge myself in the love and care for dogs, cats and other animals and i got to understand the love and attention they need. It made me realize how amazing animals are to us. I also eventually dog sit for multiple people, and dog walk around my neighborhood. I'm currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 5-5:30. As I am in school and im on the bowling team for school. I have two precious Cavapoo and they are super playful and they love company, if there is another dog at my house I typically take them out on a leash just for safety purposes. If there is anything else people would like me to do i would be understanding. Kennel, puppy pee pad, etc.

Crate policy: Dogs will be crated in our home for short periods if we are away to run an errand. This is for the safety of visiting dogs, our own dogs, and our home. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 10 years, including dogs, cats, and reptiles. I grew up with dogs and currently have two cats of my own, so animals have always been a big part of my life. While serving on active duty, I consistently walked and cared for dogs for about six years. I’ve also house sat with pets for extended periods, with my longest stay being two weeks. I’m comfortable with animals of all breeds, sizes, and personalities and understand that every pet has their own routine and needs. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, provide walks and playtime, keep up with established routines, and give your pets plenty of attention while you’re away. I also take house sitting seriously and will treat your home and animals with the same care and respect I would want for my own. After taking a break from pet sitting, I’m excited to get back into it and spend more time caring for animals again. I work from home, which makes pet care easy to fit into my daily routine and allows me to provide plenty of attention, potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, with drop offs starting at 10 AM. I’m able to provide consistent supervision since I work from home. My community has two dog parks, a dog spa, and a great walking trail, so there are plenty of options for exercise and enrichment. Percy Warner Park is also about four miles away for longer walks and outdoor time. I have two cats at home, so I’m mindful about safe introductions and making sure every animal is comfortable. I’ll always follow your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and care routine as closely as possible. I’ll even run your dogs if needed!

I offer the following services: *Walks: I can come by while you are at work or away to take your pet for a walk. Walks range from 30-60 minutes. I can walk up to two dogs at a time, and I can accommodate the level of speed your pet needs. I am trying to expand my walking services on Rover, as I have primarily been boarding, but I also have a lot of walking experience. *Drop-in: If you pet isn't a walker, I can come by and play with them and let them out to the bathroom. *Doggy Day Care: This service is perfect if you need pet care for just the day. About: I've taken care of pets my entire life! Often neighbors, friends, and family have left their cats or dogs in my care whether due to work, travel, or emergencies. Being a caregiver just comes naturally to me, and I am inately intuned with the needs of the critters that come into my life. My sister and I used to work together to rescue and foster animals before she left for the military. We learned a lot, and helped hundreds of animals find furrever homes, prevented unnecessary euthanasia, and advocated fiercly for the pets in our care. I currently work from home with flexible hours so I can be there for you and your pets needs! I am incredibly flexible, have reliable transportation, and am prepared to brings pets into my home, or to come to yours to play! I like to work with pet parents to design stays around the needs and routines of the pets in my care whether that's exercise, medication administration, feeding schedules, vet visits, etc. I believe routines keep animals calm and feeling comfortable during stays at my home or in yours. I often reccomend calming care suggestions for pets who have paw-parents on vacations, but also offer some in my home as well as options for positive engagement activies to prevent boredom and support the redirection of destructive behaviors that can be triggered by anxious pets. When caring for pups, I often go to the dog park down the street, but I also have a nice unfenced yard behind my home and am in a cul-de-sac perfect for long walks. I am an avid runner, and enjoy taking pets on the trail close to my home for a run! I keep all dogs on leash in unfenced areas. I have separate rooms in my home, in the case of multiple pets and if they don't get along, but also for feeding multiple pets (if there are multiple in the home). I never leave pets from different homes unsupervised in the same space, and will do slow, supervised introductions to ensure any pets in my care are compatible. I do not have crates in my home, but if your pet has one, I often reccomend bringing it for longer stays as pets will often use it as a safe space in an unfamiliar area. Pets will have access to their crates, but will remain uncrated unless otherwise instructed by the pet parent (i.e. on short trips where I am out of the home, overnight, during feeding, etc.). I don't currently accept aggressive pets in my home, but may be open to visiting them in your home where they may be more comfortable!

About: **Due to extreme heat this summer I will use my discretion with shortening walks for your dog’s health** Current work schedule: I go in office 3 days a week but I can possibly I can flex my days. Available for services with that in mind! I need at least a week for new clients to schedule a meet & greet! I do not accept daycare & boarding without one because I require our pets to meet ahead of time so we can assess if they would be a good fit together. Aside from growing up with small dogs all around, I have solo cared for my senior rescue for the last 6 years up until his passing of old age. I have experience with both puppy and senior dog care, and am very careful with any physical concerns such as arthritis. I have experience administering oral medication both through treats and syringing food. I will love to hang out with your baby whether it’s going on walks, playing, or just coexisting - I’ve done it all. The best feeling I have is knowing I’ve given my dog a life full of love and enrichment, and I’m happy to help as you do the same for yours. I also have owned a cat and cat sit for friends and am more than happy to drop in on them and show them some love! I am definitely also a huge cat lady. I am very patient and understanding that I am a visitor to your pet and I will respect their boundaries while they are under my care. In case of emergency, I already have Battleground (Royal Oaks), Bluepearl (Mallory) and Banfield (Carothers) info saved and have experience with all 3 vets in Franklin. I currently have a full time job, but am generally off by 3-4 and my nights and weekends are pretty open! Some days I work from home so I’m around the area. I currently live in a 1BR apartment, have a balcony but there are paths and a dog park even within my complex, so there’s no shortage of areas to walk! I always keep my babies on leash.
