About: As a cat grandmother of two (to my young adult daughters’ two cats who live with us), I have become very familiar with the rhythms of cat care (including litter box tending). I also did cat-sitting for classmates while in grad school. Fun fact: My first job out of college was working for a magazine all about cats! About: I love dogs and have taken care of them all my life! I recently lost my companion of 12 years in April 2026, Finley, who passed onto the rainbow bridge due to old age. Finley was a 120lb gentle giant, so I am highly experienced with large breeds and dogs of all sizes. Being a dog lover while no longer having one has been heartbreaking for me, but it also means that I now have the opportunity to hangout with your pup! :) I only ask for a week in advance notice and prefer to do a meet and greet beforehand to see if we align. I often work from home, and on the days I work away from home, I'm typically only out for a few hours at a time. I have crates if needed, dog beds, and bowls of varying sizes at my home; I only need you to bring your dog’s food and any special items like supplements or a special lovey that you’d like them to have. My yard is not fenced, so I ALWAYS use leashes and/or harnesses, no matter what. I live on a quiet, safe street in a neighborhood with a lot of walkers and bicyclers.

About: I’ve had pets in my life for as long as I can remember. My first childhood pet was a sweet dachshund named Greta. In my adulthood, I have been caring for my own pets for the past 26 years. We love to have our dogs Bertie and Chester near us wherever we are, indoors and outdoors. More recently, we have welcomed two incredible cats, Belle and Zesty, into our family as well. In my experience, having pets truly makes life better. I would welcome spending time with your pet, whether in your home or out on a walk, and would care for them as I would one of the pets in my own family.
