About: Hi, I'm Meredith! I am an experienced, caring, and trustworthy petsitter. But don't take my word for it! Here's what others have said: "Meredith truly cared about my pets, and I felt completely at ease being away. As someone who’s very picky about who takes care of my dogs, I can wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter." "Meredith brought peace of mind, warmth, and reliability to our home. I’d trust her with our pets anytime." "Her calm energy and loving nature were exactly what our anxious rescue needed." "Meredith was fantastic. She cared for our home and animals as if they were her own." I’d love the opportunity to care for YOUR pets and your home! Animals have always been a central part of my life. I grew up in a house full of beloved cats and dogs, and I’ve raised several pets of my own as an adult, so caring for animals is truly second nature. I started pet sitting professionally in my 20s and recently returned to it with renewed passion and dedication. I now have over 7 years of direct pet-sitting experience and a lifetime of hands-on care with animals of all ages, temperaments, and personalities. As a responsible, organized, and nurturing high school English teacher with 20 years in the classroom, I bring calm attentiveness and excellent communication to every sit. I’m also a devoted mom to two kind-hearted, respectful animal lovers (ages 8 and 11), who may occasionally accompany me depending on the arrangement. If they do, rest assured they are gentle, supervised, and bring extra love to the experience. Whether it's administering medication to a senior pet, giving special attention to a rescue, or sticking to your pet’s unique routines and needs, I approach every sit with genuine care and commitment. I’m also experienced in basic training, gentle leash walking, and giving animals the calm, consistent presence they need to feel safe. If you have houseplants, I’ve got you covered there, too. I worked in my family’s garden center for years and enjoy keeping plants healthy and thriving. While I’m newer to this platform, I take each sit seriously and treat every home and pet with the utmost respect. I do not smoke, drink, or use drugs of any kind, and I always bring my own groceries and supplies. Communication is clear before, during, and after the stay, and you'll receive regular updates to give you peace of mind. I’m in a meaningful season of transition and using this time to do something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals while exploring new places. This work blends my love of travel and nurturing in a way that reflects my values. If you feel we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect virtually or in person, when possible. Looking forward to meeting you and your beloved companions! Pet care is a natural, joyful part of my everyday rhythm. As a longtime teacher and mom, I’m used to creating routines that are structured yet flexible, making it easy to adapt to the unique needs of each pet and home. Whether it’s morning walks, medication schedules, mealtime routines, or play and snuggle time, I build my days around ensuring animals feel safe, loved, and cared for. Because I’m in a season of life where I have more flexibility, I’m able to be fully present with the pets I care for and enjoy giving them plenty of attention, consistency, and calm companionship throughout the day. It’s more than just a task in my routine; it’s a grounding and fulfilling part of my life that I genuinely enjoy. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the routines and environment your pet already knows and loves. I follow all instructions closely, whether that means administering medications, preparing special meals, sticking to walk schedules, or providing quiet companionship. I aim to create a calm, consistent atmosphere that feels safe and nurturing, so your pet can relax while you're away. Also, I treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. I’m clean, organized, and attentive to details, and I always communicate clearly throughout the sit to keep you informed and at ease. If my well-behaved, animal-loving children (ages 8 and 11) accompany me, it’s only with prior agreement, and they are gentle, respectful, and supervised at all times. Above all, I care for each animal as if they were my own, with patience, love, and a genuine commitment to their well-being.

About: Hey y'all, I grew up with dogs and had a dog of my own until recently when she passed. I've also spent time on lots of friends farms for fun, doing chores, and farm-sitting for them. I have experience with goats, pigs, cows, ducks, chickens, turkeys, dogs, and cats! This means I know how to interact with lots of different personalities including wary and hyperactive animals. I'm also not afraid of handling messy situations. :) I moved to the Triangle for a paralegal job at a non-profit that works on cleaning up coal ash across the southeast. Years ago I left that job to run a small business and farm. I love my work and living in Hillsborough, and am grateful for a fully flexible schedule! I pet, house, and farm sit a couple of times a year and would be happy to do so for you! Honestly, this is a bit of a selfish endeavor as I would like to be able to spend more time with some floof friends. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Thanks! Jenna I work full time as a self-employed farmer, but my schedule is extremely flexible. I live in town and lease land less than ten minutes away. It is my habit to work early in the morning and later in the day, coming home for the middle portion of the day to avoid the heat. I'm easily able to tailor my schedule to your pet's needs! My apartment is a very lucky setup. I effectively have a private entrance to my place, two fenced areas for dogs, as well as being a two minute walk from a park and public dog park with two additional fences areas. Also, I live alone but have two bedrooms, so the apartment itself is spacious.

“Grace was THE BEST house and petsitter I've had the pleasure to work with! The whole process just felt really easy with her -- quickly scheduled and efficient meet and greet, check-ins with pics daily, flexibility to accommodate my travel schedule, a clean home to return to. Would love to be able to book her again for future stays.”

“De'Erricka was very responsible; the house was spotless when I got home! My cat was very relaxed, which only happens when the person sitting has paid a good amount of attention. She also understood my rather complicated feeding regimen, which I much appreciated. Also, De'Erricka works from home, which helps Sadie, as she is alone otherwise even if there are brief visits. Much appreciated! Also, when I returned home later than we thought, De'Erricka came back to stay with her on a Sunday so she wouldn't be alone all day. Really special, and she's coming again this week!”

About: I've had dogs as pets since I've been a little girl so hand in hand. I've taken care of dogs since I've been a little girl. Every time my dad goes out of town. I watch the animals. I watch the neighbors dogs. Animals always love me because I treat them with the utmost respect and like my own children. I will make sure your dog uses the bathroom regularly. I will walk them if needed and I will show them lots of love so they will not even be sad while you are away. I can even take pictures with your dog and send you pictures and little updates in case you miss your little furry friend while you're on your trip. I love dogs so much and I've always wanted to make money doing something I love. That's why I have come to this app to work. Pet care fits in my daily and weekly routine. Right now I am in college and only have to focus on taking classes. So I have a lot of free time. Other than that, I have my own transportation and I can travel to different cities to watch your pets and your home!. I care for pets with the upmost respect. I follow all the rules given. If I have any questions at all I will text and call immediately. If watching your home I can also do some cleaning for you for when you get back so everything is in order.

About: I have two dogs, a Cairn Terrier and a Black Lab. I have dog-sat since 2019 and cat sat since 2022 and I can clean up accidents, give medications, and give them baths or just give them a walk and some attention. I have a pretty open schedule. I can be away from home from 6AM-10PM. I would like to be notified at least a day prior to know if there are any changes, unless there’s an emergency. I can provide a fenced yard, lots of love, and treats (if they’re allowed to have some). My goofy black lab loves meeting others and doesn’t care what size or age. My Cairn is small, very curious, and always tries to show who's boss.

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for decades and love connecting with animals and making sure they have what they need. In addition to my own pets, I've worked as a pet-sitter, dog-walker, and spent time volunteering in animal sanctuaries and rescue groups around the country. I am as comfortable working with playful young pups and kittens as I am working with senior pets who may need extra help and gentle care. I am the mother of two and a freelance writer, and I also run a small herbal medicine practice. Pet care works well for me because my schedule is flexible and I can work around your pets' needs. I provide care within your own home, and I understand that pets are family; so establishing trust and providing responsible care with frequent communication is of utmost importance to me.
