About: Hi, I’m Emily! I’ve been a pet sitter for friends and family for around a decade, please see the reviews that a couple of them have written. My friends and family would also tell you, I’m the type of person that immediately flocks to pet and hang out with the dog or cat at the house we’re at! I’ve owned or lived with a pet almost my entire life as well. I know how pets truly become part of the family and how important it is to find a trusted sitter. I’ve cared for a variety of sizes, breeds, and ages. I’ve cared for senior dogs with special needs and I know how to administer pills as well. My goal is always to keep them happy and healthy. Please know that I will be a responsible and loving caretaker and pal to your furry friend when you are away. I work full time but am only in office Tuesdays and Thursdays in Huntington Beach. I am only available to check in on pets before 8:30am and after 5pm for those days. Otherwise, I work from home and have much more flexibility for check-ins on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I don’t work on the weekends so I am open then as well. I am very responsible when it comes to caring for pets in their own home and for walks! I make sure to complete each necessary step for their care and ask questions to pet parents if necessary. I pay attention to doors not being left open (we wouldn’t want any escapees!) and I am sure to lock the door when leaving.
