Hi there, I’m Carissa! My deep love for animals began at a young age, as I grew up sharing a crib with a lively orange tabby who was always watching over me. Right now, I have a sweet tabby boy named Torito. My beloved childhood dog, Pepper, passed away last year after a long battle with heart disease and I'm learning to adjust to her absence day by day. I’m eager for more furry companionship and have lots of love to give!  ° 𐐪𐑂 ♡ 𐐪𐑂 ₒ 𐐪𐑂 ♡ 𐐪𐑂 ° Over the years, I've cared for stray and feral cats in my backyard, as well as cats and dogs of all ages, some of whom have had various health conditions such as heart disease, arthritis, thyroid disease, anxiety, deafness, blindness, and mobility issues. I've rescued and rehomed stray dogs to loving forever homes on multiple occasions. As a teenager, I volunteered as a weekly cat tender at PetSmart and Petco for two years, which gave me a ton of great experience working with cats of all ages and personalities! I understand trusting someone with your cherished companion can be difficult, which is why I'll provide you with regular updates, including plenty of pictures and videos, so you can feel connected to them while they're in my care.
