“Allie and her husband were reliable, punctual, and followed all instructions carefully. Most importantly, my dogs had a great time playing with them at the dog park. I felt very comfortable trusting them with my dogs.”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all kinds for several years, including dogs, cats, and small animals. My experience includes feeding, walking, administering basic care, and maintaining consistent routines. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels, and I always focus on creating a calm, safe, and positive environment for them. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate consistent time and attention to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for daily visits, walks, and boarding, including weekends and evenings. I prioritize reliability and make sure each pet gets the time, exercise, and care they need based on their routine. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a clean, secure, and calm environment, and I always follow any specific instructions you provide. I’m attentive to behavior, feeding schedules, and routines to ensure consistency. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like family and make sure they feel safe, supervised, and well cared for at all times.
About: I have grown up with small and big dogs, so I feel comfortable with all breeds. I have spent years volunteering at a shelter socializing and training dogs. I own a Doberman which has required me to become a skilled handler. Training and exercise are very important to me for dogs to receive, I strive to fulfill their needs! I am more than happy to provide training and socialization for your pup by taking them to public places (that allow dogs) after exercising them! Availability: I have the most availability in the afternoons, after 1 pm, but I am more than happy to try and accommodate! Working early mornings allows me to have the rest of the day to devote to the dogs I am caring for. I am an active person so daily long walks, adventures, and time outside is important to me I only take on the responsibility of one dog at a time to ensure that they get my full attention and care. It is important to me that they are prioritized and enriched from their activities with me
“This was my first time using Rover and having a complete stranger walk my dogs, so I was honestly really nervous at first, especially since I have big dogs. Sarah was quick to respond and immediately put me at ease. She was truly an angel. She sent constant updates and pictures with every walk, which meant so much to me and helped me feel comfortable being away from my boys. She made me feel like she genuinely loved them and treated them as if they were her own. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her, especially to first time Rover users who may be feeling nervous.”

“Crystal jumped in at the very last minute to walk my dog! She was extremely communicative, was right on time, and was very good with my bigger dog. I will be returning to her for future walks for sure!”

About: Hello! I have trained puppies and dogs for basic obedience and shows for 15 years. I started as a mentee at 9 with a certified show dog runner and trainer for 1.5 years and started training my neighbor’s dogs as practice. I often foster for various rescues and shelters, including OC Animal Care, Carson Animal Shelter, and a few others. I have since started boarding various pets throughout college up until now. As a pet owner and practicing vet tech, I know just how important it is to find the right person to care for and be responsible for our family members - I’m definitely that person and will ensure the upmost respect for you and your pets! I like to give my clients and their pets the time to get to know me and feel like they’re making the right choice. I like to keep everything transparent and open for discussion. I live in a large two-story home with a fenced backyard and plenty of running space. I believe in lots of mental and physical stimulation to keep all animals in my care happy and healthy. I work from home at the moment so I have a very flexible schedule. I like to get 10k steps a day for my own health and make it a point to go for a 2 hour walk a day and love having a companion there with me :) My home is pet proofed from any toxic plants, food is kept out of reach, and my home is treated for pests and fleas monthly. I also have dog gates in case I ever need to section a part of the home off. I don’t like to use dog crates in my home (unless rest is needed for medical concerns) and like to let pets have a lot of freedom and space to feel their most comfortable.
About: I come from a pet (especially dog) friendly household. I have taken care of various kinds of dogs since I can remember. I was born into a family with dogs and we have had three ever since. We currently have a Duck Toller mix, Potcake, and an English Bulldog. The house was nicknamed "the farm" because families in my town would leave their dogs with us to watch and care for. Since the age of 12, I was responsible for walking and feeding (all three dogs) daily. During feeding time I would distribute the necessary medication to each dog along with their supplements. Each week I would alternate walking routes, every couple days I would take them on a hike and their usual was the local dog park. They would also receive weekly baths to get rid of all the dirt from the week. My Duck Toller is a COVID puppy, and I assisted training her. We worked on the basic commands, training on a leash, and how to approach dogs/people. I have also cared for dogs with disabilities and allergies. This past fall I adopted a Potcake from the Turks and Caicos islands. I trained him for the first six months before he became too big to travel cross country with me. When I return home we are still working on training on the leash and reacting to other dogs and young kids. When I was at home pet care was a constant daily routine, from walking to feeding at night. Whereas now, I have a lot of free time. I have classes throughout the week but I am able to spend plenty of time with your furry friends. My schedule is easy to fit in walks or check-in's daily or weekly as long as planned in advance. It is extremely helpful and important that prior to the first visit or the day of that visit, we discuss the routine that you have created for your furry friend. This is important because introducing someone knew into their lives that suddenly changes their norm is not healthy for them and not helpful for the owner. For example, knowing if you make your dog sit prior to being let out or fed is necessary. Every owner has trained their pet differently and my main priority is having the dog(s) comfortable with me and I especially want the owners to trust me with their pets.
About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life, whether that be my own, or family and friends’ dogs. I am an absolute dog lover and have experience caring for dogs ranging from puppy to senior age. My attention to detail and responsibility will ensure that your dog receives the attention and care they deserve! I currently work part time with availability throughout the week, including weekends. My flexible schedule allows me to be available when needed and able to help in a pinch! I am respectful of you and your pet’s needs. My home doesn’t allow for pets, and because of that I would love to provide help and company to pets that need that.

“Jared was GREAT! Kept me updated the whole time. Sent pics. Offered to take him running. Even let me know my dog might have an oncoming upset stomach (which he did) So my BF was prepared and laid out pads over the carpet. Saved me the headache of having to hire a cleaner or order a rug doctor. Will definitely keep Jared on the list of trusted walkers.”

“Yichen was super attentive to details, did many additional things for us without us asking. Even though we only asked for her to take care of Shiro she helped us with items for kitty too. She would check if we have certain preferences or asks based on weather and even cleaned Shiro’s feet with a towel she brought after being wet from the rain puddle, so it wouldn’t mess up the house.”

Sandpointe dog parents share their Rover experiences
Suzy was warm and friendly from the moment we met her and our puppy loved going on walks with her while I was busy working! She sent photos and reports on his progress from their outings including number of potty breaks and distance covered. I would highly recommend recommend Suzy and will schedule with her again in the future!

She did a meet and greet with my dogs, which I really appreciate because one of them is super reactive! She addressed my concerns and learned our commands which made me feel comfortable! She also took a bunch of photos of them and updated me before and after their walk. She also texted me to ask their bathroom schedule, just to make sure they didn't need to go #2.
